Hello everyone!!!

Iīm going through a very difficult period in my life (for more details see http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/001259.html )
All this lovely people in the other thread led me to consider the possibility of a spiritual rebirth... I actually feel like Innana visiting the underworld...

Suddenly, something clicked in my mind... All what I was writing while I was gathering my feelings and thoughts sounded so plutonian...

I started to wonder if Pluto had anything to do with it... And looking at my chart I discovered something amazing:

Pluto is now in 22š Sagittarius... That is in the 1st house in conjuntion with my Ascendant (the way I appear to the outside world), my natal Neptune (dreams)and my natal Moon (emotions).

To make things worse itīs square my natal Sun (what I need to be happy, my life force).

My chart ruler (Jupiter) is the ruler of the house Pluto is in and is currently in conjunction with Pluto.

Maybe thatīs why I have felt it coming for years... Pluto entered Saggitarius in 1995... Itīll come out in 2008, opposing my natal Jupiter and my natal Mars in its way out...

Any insights? Similar experiences? Any clues of what I have to do? When will Pluto lose its grip on me? Because itīs making me pieces... When are the good times going to be back?

Steelrose I am going through the same thing. you want to play and have fun but Pluto wants it be serious and determined.

Allow yourself to think of several different futures, and be open to others taking care of you.

You could stand to be babied a bit,

Natasha

Thank you, Natasha , thatīs a nice thing to say...

You seem to know me better than most of my friends... I have the feeling that we would connect and get on very well...

So, you have similar Pluto transits, do you? I think I remember from another thread you also were a Sag rising conjunct with Neptune... So Pluto must be wreaking havoc for you as well...

How are you coping?

I also have the Moon and Sun in conflictive positions... Have you got any other natal planets in harsh angles with Pluto now (22š Sag)?

HI, I have the Sun opp Neptune, and Moon square Venus, plus Pluto natally is semi square the moon, square Mars, and Mecury. Pluto tries to control things, and it's a bit self punishing.

I also have the 11th ruled by Libra, so my friends and I become part of each other, I really change myself to suit someone else, and who I have been talking to lately is part of me for a while. That's why I have to avoid negative people. My emotions in a relationship, change who I am overnight.

Pluto will change your view of yourself, and you will want to take on a new identity sometimes.
How am I coping? Well after the Gemini broke it off with me due to my use of the L word, and a new blonde, I have dated a bit just to be babied.

And I am having my hair done today, making a new silk green dress, trying to keep my skin in good condition since it's so dry and cold here. Trying to stay away from Scorpio ascendant men, and talking to a plastic surgeon about fat implants in my cheeks.

Pluto causes accidents, so I am extra careful to take my vitamins, work out, have my brakes checked on my car,and not drive aimlessly through the mountains to see friends I just met anymore. Too much wear and tear on me.

I have been talking a lot to other Neptune conjunct Ascendants and Pisces people. We all seem to share the same passion for lovey dovey people, and guilt. They are wiser than me, so that's what I do. But I need to feel vulnerable too, so I have to let go and ask for help from my male friends too. And that's not so easy as they are less likely to sugar coat the truth. So I go back and forth, always trying to be honest with my emotions, when I try to love everyone.

I have learned to ask for help, be vulnerable, and really show how much I have been hurt. In school I was told I was most likely to marry a rich man, because I am not the type to fall in love. I am but I can't show it well, so I have learned to show my vulnerabilities to get what I really need.

I am really tough at showing someone when I care, at the right moment, so I am working hard on being open with my feelings, and listening to feelings, to avoid being the one involved with a man who thinks money is more important than me, who spends his time on other's needs and emotions because they need him more. I don't want to hear that again.

I may not be a drama queen, but I may have to learn how to be.

Hello Knowflakes!
Well, I've decided after many years of reading posts on this forum it was time to post one myself.
Funny, yesterday I thought I would post a question asking for some input on the transits this wonderful planet Pluto is making in my chart, but waited. Today the topic appeared...with others who are experiencing some similar effects.
Sometimes it's easier to interpret planetary movements when you are not "drowning" in the middle of them...I think the sense of despair this time has colored my ability to interpret my own with any accurate objectivity.
Currently I have transiting Pluto squaring natal Pluto, natal sun, and natal Saturn. Transiting Saturn opposite ascendant.
Transiting Pluto almost conjunct natal mars with an orb of 4 degrees.
I am 35, single lost my job in July and have not found new work (even with a darn masters degree!), my health has been bad and I am currently without medical insurance but in need of a specialist, finances...speaks for itself, trying not to loose my home, constant breakdowns and repairs (I mean constant, almost unreal, last one occuring on Christmas eve when my car broke down and left me stranded), and general loss of faith. I'm probably on the upswing (miracle miracle!) during the last couple of days, but the climb is a steep one.
I'd like some feedback on any of these planetary aspects...if that's possible without the whole picture...but I will mention that my natal sun and natal Pluto are conjunct and reside in the eighth house (also conjunct my south node, unfortunately!).
For all dealing with difficult transits...one thing I am certain of, you can always count on change...nothing remains the same.
Thanks and Happy New Year Knowflakes!!!!!!

Yes starofpluto, you are going through a lot right now. Things turned badly for me in July too. Try not to do so much at once, don't spread yourself thin. If you have to go out, make sure it's planned, and don't spend money right off the bat.

Think about every decision carefully, stick to your regular routine, and go gradual.

Did you want to change jobs? Is this an opportunity?

Thanks Natasha...really...I reposted the question as a new topic with no reply...but came back and found this one. I mentioned in the other post that pluto is traveling through my 11th house and so my circle of support has dissapated.
Yes, I could change jobs...I don't have one to change. I could change career paths but can't imagine which way to go.
Oh, I was wrong about transiting pluto square natal saturn...it's hitting it hard though. Natal saturn is in Taurus.
Thanks again!!!!

I'm sure that my Scorpio moon is also in on these events as well.
I don't know whether Jupiter's trip through Virgo (my sun on top of that) and conjunct itself in my chart is the culprit of my illness or Saturn's transit on my descendent (6th house). Maybe the combination of both.
Any ideas?

starofpluto -

Did you mean your Descendant (7th House) instead of 6th?

Saturn is one degree from my descendent and still sitting in the sixth house. Most houses in my chart are intercepted and so the DC looks like it sits in my sixth house? Is that possible or am I reading it wrong?

Wait a minute...sorry! That would be the signs I'm talking about. Saturn is still sitting in the sixth but almost conjunct the DC.
Here's my chart if it's accessible this way: http://www.astro.com/cgi/chart.cgi?rs=3&btyp=w2gw&&cid=djifile8zcECa-u1033403848

The only way I'd really try to figure that one out is when you see your Wheel on astro.com, click on ADDITIONAL TABLES in upper righthand corner of screen. But that's just me. Other opinions may abound.

starofpluto, your chart is interesting, very much a top of the chart one. The only planet on the bottom is Saturn which I believe makes it a singleton, it's also the ruler and it's in the third house.

So your ruler is the third house, in Taurus, communication with others is important to you, Neptune is in the 10th, you dream of your career, structure, stability brings wealth, love, prosperity. No wonder you are upset you lost your job! You need to be in a job with responsbility and authority, where you change people's lives, and at the same time you need to communicate to the masses. What about counselling, or publishing?

You do need to focus on career at the moment and talk to others. I imagine that is something you are doing already, and I can see you in a city, or at least close to a metro area. If you are in sticks you are not going to be very happy. Isolation is not good for you.

Be sure to be assertive, your need is to be in a position where your opinions are heard, not the other way around, you can't be an assistant forever, especially with all those planets in the 8th. The 8th is about shared resources, the last person I saw with a loaded 8th was in banking.

Any of this help?
Note, your Moon is sitting on your midheaven, a peaceful atmosphere is important to you, yoga instructor? working with children? real estate or working near the water, or on boats? In scorpio, you must work with people directly. Make sure it's upbeat, because your Moon in the 9th needs fun.

Cancer on the descendant, you are determined to do one thing at a time. Again water. Do you live near the ocean or plan to?

Yes, it helps. And right on the nose. Most of the last ten years, I've worked as a counselor...but often feel that's really not for me. All right on the nose. Yes, I live in a large metro area, and even so, am quite isolated this last year...misery. Funny, I hate the city...but I am miserable if too isolated.
In the past, I've imagined real estate would be an option, but have had my doubts that it's enough to "feed my spirit". Have always always wanted to write and publish, but probably lack the confidence (ohhhh, Saturn). Anyway, I won't ramble...funny how much I needed the feedback...Thanks!

Natasha, I like that idea... I think I could do with a bit of pampering... I feel a bit guilty (very neptunian... ) about all the friends Iīm not nursing while Iīm buried in the underworld... But I canīt put any energy outside, too much is going on within...

Maybe, you are right... I need to relax and close my eyes... One thing at a time... I feel like letting me go... Not fighting for a while... I feel dead, I souldnīt be too harsh on myself, I need all that energy for my rebirth.

And yes, you are spot on... I just want to play my Jupiter strong influences and have fun, and wander, and travel far and expand... But Iīm stuck... Pluto is holding me tight, is strangling me... I suppose itīs logical to slow down and try to relax to breath easily... And wait until the power of the grip loosens up learning all I can...

Starofpluto (or Amy... How do you prefer to be called?)... You also have a mess in there... Squares show tension... Pluto squaring your natal Sun (very glad to meet another Virgo... Welcome! ) would mean transformation in what you esentially were, painful distance from what you need to be happy, strangling of your vital force...Then we have Pluto square your natal Saturn (your ruler)... Thatīs tight restraints... You must feel smashed against the ground, unable to breath, trapped in a cold cell... Pluto square natal Pluto... Blockage of progress, stress...You are having a hard time in the transformation process... Pluto is in your 11th house now... Yes, that means reconsidering your friendships... If they are failing you now, maybe itīs a good time to find new ones... Pluto is helping you to change that aspect in your life...

Then Saturn transiting the 6th house in opposition with the ascendant brings health problems and also problems at work. Are you arguing a lot with a permanent partner? You said you are single, but that could mean a very close friend youīve known forever... A business partner...

Hope Iīm not too away from reality... Iīm just a beginner... And I was asking myself about Pluto!!!

Good luck!

Steelrose-
Yes yes yes. Fighting/arguing...yes too. Uuuugggh. With my Mercury in Libra, I hate fighting/arguing but rarely do I hold back speaking my mind.
Rising from the ashes is what Pluto does eventually, and I think the strength will eventually rise up for us both.
Time of accelerated Karma (growth!) on the earth means maybe we are getting hit hard to change what needs to be changed, or what we have resisted for too long...no more lolygagging around...we need to be awake and conscious...pluto.
What's happening with the tidle waves is also telling us something...and the earth's rotation has sped up as a result (and is wobbling now)...interesting to ponder.
So great to meet another Virgo too! I don't meet them often.
There's alot of value to withdraw, depression (Saturn more than Pluto?), hibernation, and contemplation. Not valued in our culture but I think eventually brings more depth, wisdom, and compassion. Especially wisdom.
Amy
