ARIES RISING- The brave ones
Aries rising people are simple and direct to the point and want you to be too! They love action and speed and strength and appear to be fearless, not to mention -attractive! They can also be surprisingly organized and industrious due to Capricorn which is always on the Midheaven in the northern hemisphere. The more inventive ones may have Aquarius on the Midheaven(southern hemisphere).

TAURUS RISING- The plodding ones (Sorry guys!! I would have said steady, or persistent!!)
These people are down to earth loveable lazies who appreciate good food, music, and lovemaking. They are slow to know and play for keeps. They can also be surprisingly scientific (Aquarius is usually on the Midheaven). The more conservative ones have Capricorn or Pisces on the Midheaven.

GEMINI RISING- The youthfull ones
Gemeni rising people are slim, quickmoving, and quickthinking individuals who remain youthful looking well into old age. Their most notable features are their arching eyebrows. LEO RISING- The golden ones
Leo rising people have a warm, sunny, usually golden and handsome appearance, and always seem confident and ready to steal the limelight. Their golden lion-like mane of hair is always a notable feature. (And most of the woman celebs have curly blonde hair!) Many have Taurus on the Midheaven making them fine singers and actors. The more adventurous or flighty ones have Aries or Gemeni on the Midheaven.

VIRGO RISING- The born critic
People are usually uncomfortable in the presence of Virgo rising people as though they are being analyzed for imperfections. Gemeni is usually on the Midheaven, making them writers, comedians, and communicators in general.

This is definitely the most beautiful rising sign of all. These people exemplify the ideal in both looks and manners. Cancer is usually on the Midheaven so that becoming parents and homemakers are important issues to them. The more glamorous ones have Leo on the Midheaven.

SCORPIO RISING- The intense people of the zodiac
Scorpio rising is dark and forbidding in appearance. These people can stare you down with those intense hypnotic eyes. (And almost all of the celebs have dark brown eyes!!) Leo on the Midheaven gives them presence and authority while Virgo on the Midheaven makes them more analytical and service-oriented. The more domesticated ones may have Cancer on the Midheaven(southern hemisphere).

SAGITTARIUS RISING- The handsome people of the world
Sagittarius is perhaps the second most attractive rising sign of all, probably due to the fact that Libra often falls on the Midheaven(in the northern hemisphere). The more dramatic ones have Leo on the Midheaven (southern hemisphere), while the more analytical or service-oriented types usually have Virgo on the Midheaven. A huge number of models have Sagittarius rising.
(Lucky ppl!! Almost all of them have rather gorgous blue eyes!! And is it me or do all the woman look very alike, most with long, thick, shiny, wavy, dark hair!)

CAPRICORN RISING- The achievers of the zodiac

Scorpio on the Midheaven makes them natural researchers and detectives, while Sagittarius on the Midheaven often draws them to religious, travel, or athletic fields of work.

PISCES RISING- The impressionable ones
These people are shy and sensitive on the surface but have strong inner beings. They rely on their intuition and make surprisingly good buisness people. In the northern lattitudes, Sagittarius is always on the Midheaven, giving them a strong spiritual nature. In the southern hemisphere, a Scorpio Midheaven is also possible, drawing these types to darker and more forbidden fields of work.

I actually do have shared features with a lot of the Aries rising ppl on there...

I was looking through all the pictures, and noticed a trend with Saggie ascending people, DAMN ARE THEY HOT!! The women have a smoldering quality about them, dark and deep set eyes and dark hair. (Jessica Alba, Angelina Jolie, Kristen Kreuk, Mila Kunis, Courtney Cox, etc.) I wonder if this is a common thing... I never noticed it before.

I'm a Libra rising and I'm shocked by all the gorgeous blondes that share this aspect! I am not a gorgeous blonde. I am a gorgeous brunette dammit So... I don't really see a similarity. Also, I have Pluto rising... I look much, much more like the Sorpio rising women. What I noticed about them all is the piercing gaze and theie most prominent features are their eyes and nose and cheekbones... Just like me. Big dark eyes, roman nose and razor sharp cheekbones.

My boyfriend is a Scorpio rising (Pisces sun), funny that everyone is so dark, he has sparkling blue eyes and blonde hair! He has Uranus rising though, hence blue eyes and blonde hair... the rest of his family is average height and a little darker... He looks like his german grandpa apparently... 6'2, blonde, blue eyed and this comes from Uranus I think (he very long limbed and lithe, athletic... all Uranus traits). But... he definitely looks like a Scorpio rising. He has the eye/nose/cheekbone thing going on too. He can be really scary (but never with me), just like I can, lol... what happened to the Anger thread? Must go find it!

The most beautiful friend I have is a Sag rising. She's Asian, she has long, long dark hair, striking cat eyes... She's also a Libra, lool. She has all the goodlooking placements and it's obvious, hee. I can't explain how gorgeous she is and although she looks beautiful in pictures, it's NOTHING compared to real life... ppl haven't met her say "oh she's a bit like that Lucy Liu but so what? she's not as hot as you say"... but no... she is, lol. Photos just don't capture it. She just looks like a very pretty girl in pictures, but in person she's absolutely extraordinary.

Reading back my post, what do you all think about planets rising? Are they always stronger influences on our appearance as with myself and my bf?
