Ok, well here is my fairly ammature take on all this- the way I figure it, with a combination of a Virgo sun and its analitical -ness (yes, I know that's not a word, I'm just tired!) and somehow I've often found Taurus has a good influence for an aquired way of writing (they're very witty), also seeing as you feel you'd do better in non-fiction, maybe being a music/film critic would be good for you? Are you any good at reviewing stuff?

Whiterabbit, what other indicators of writing talent are there? My obvious ones would be Venus conjunct Neptune in the 3rd house (Sag) and I also have Uranus in the 2nd... and then Mars conjunct Sun in the 5th... anything else I should look for?

Chiron in 1st, 3rd or 5th..or in Gemini or Pisces (esp. for poets!) Mercury in second. Neptune and Uranus in 3rd. Neptune in good aspect to Mercury and Mars...Mars in 5th...Mars in good aspect to Venus and Mercury. I find the third house a good indicator of style of writing. Sun in 12th.

Holy crap! I can't believe I missed the 2nd page on this, sorry AJ and Mutable! Thank you bottthhh So interesting to see so many replies about writing! I like. Music critic would be awesome! I've written music reviews before, and quite a few book reviews. Yay!
