Aries can win a battle every now and then. Mars in Scorpio will win the war.

I just had a pleasure to watch a Gemini/Picses Moon Virgo Asc. Mars in Scorpio in action.

Hmm let's say we have an Aryan with all of his planets in Aries VS a Scorpian with all his planets in Scorpio!

Who would win? Cuz...I read somewhere that both are equally strong, but Aries doesn't need to plan his fight tactics as much as Scorpio does....Aries is much more "at the moment" type, while Scorpio is the calculating type...

I don't think it's so easy to say that Scorpio WILL win the war...anything can happen, depending on the circumstances...are they sudden or has there been a long build-up...

my bet is, that if it's sudden, then Aries is more likely to win, and if there is a long story to the battle, then the odds are on Scorpio's side..don't u agree?

Scorpio married to an Aries.
He's won a few,(don't tell him)
I've won a few,(of course, I am the woman, and in marriage, that's usually all that matters.)
We're still standing, but we do our best work lying down.

Judging on my experience with both, Aries. Definitely. First off, Scorpio tends to get bogged down by emoitonality and petty matters that Aries can just blow off. ALso Scorpio, being a water sign, simply doesn't have the stamina that Aries does, and it more likely to burn out in the middle of a fight.

Being a fire cardinal sign, Aries always looks for the challenge, to make its will manifest and it finds action invigorating. As a water fixed sign, Scorpio is more self-attentive rather than action-oriented, and tends only to go into action to protect itself or get something it thinks it needs.

ANother way of looking at it: a scorpion possesses venom, but really it's used for self-protection. Venom takes a lot of enrgy and resources for the scorpion to produce, and thus it only uses venom as a last resort. Rams have horns, that don't require as much to produce, and because of the horns stand up to a bit of banging, they're good *offensive* weapons. Scorpions tend to fight only when cornered, but a ram's got something to prove to all the other rams on the mountain.

So in the end Scorpio will go to war if the stakes meet personal ends, and more likely would take a less taxing avenue to obtain those ends if at all possible. Aries goes to war because it's Aries' nature to struggle, fight and push their way to the head of the line - hence why many Aries have trouble seeing other avenues aside from head-on confrontation and conflict to get what they what. Thus I choose Aries.

GN- what a great analogy! I agree that Aries may appear to win at first glance...however Scorpio's depth of staying power coupled with the fact that they NEVER forget will give them the win most of the time...even tho it may take awhile....like water wearing away the stone.

Blessings

I'm Aries, just got done with a seven yr.+ live-in relationship with a Scorpio a year ago, can say that nobody won that struggle in our case, (would definately say you're better off not even having to find out!) what I mean is, both sides have to learn about those horns and stingers so they stay away from them and learn to co-exist in other less confrontational ways.

GN,

From your wording I understand you are speaking of Sun signs. Correct?

I've actually seen something like that in action (though not exact, so the analysis may be off).

My Father-In-Law's a Cancer Sun w/ a Scorp Mars & a Cancer Venus; My Mother-In-Law's a Cancer Sun w/ a Saggie Mars & a Leo Venus.

According to second-hand accounts, she wins most of the fights as she's the one most willing to yell, scream, and slam doors. With her Scorp Asc, she's also more than willing to withdraw.

He wins the important ones - he's willing to wait anything out (especially with the Cappie Moon that he has)...though, in the end, may have something to do with the edge that he seems to have in emotional matters when playing with her watery Sun.

I'm a little out in left field here. Do you mean one person has a Mars in Aries, the other a Mars in Scorpio? Difficult to place a theme for "winning" unless there is a person attached to it, with a Sun, Moon, and all the other Planets.

Or else, it would be difficult to say which would win. And what was the fight about again?

*DING* *DING* *DING*

Yes I mean one person has Mars in Aries, and the other has Mars in Scorpio...

and let's just say...Mars in Aries guy has all his planets in Aries, and Mars in Scorpio guy has all his planets in Scorpio...which one would most possibly win?

OK - got it ...

Now ...

1. What are they fighting about?

2. What weapons are at their disposal?

3. What is the topography of the land in which all this takes place?

4. What time of year is it?

5. Do they get any life lines?

Mars Aries would go stright in - direct and oblivious to risks, with the belief they were right - at least for what they were fighting for, and good staying power, so very formidable opponent.

Scorp Mars would use tactics, plan a course of attack and maybe even lie/cheat/hurt a little to get their desired outcome? they would also do it without feeling - it would be a pure assult on the enemy, no matter what and with the end result being - pianful

Both are strong, in their own ways but one would attack for defense - the other out of vengence - sorry I would reckon the Scorpion would cause the most damage

Hmm...well scorpio is a fixed sign, and it stays fixed on its target...but aries can't bear the degradation of a loss...so, IMO aries will become sort of fixed in a battle/competition....both are also VERY aggressive, and will do anything to make their opponent lose, but it's very hard to imagine any of these two losing a battle:S...unless both lose the battle...yeah that makes more sense..I think both would just lose in the end

I am an aries sun/moon conjunct, + mars in aries; my son has scorpio sun and rising.

Most of my life, I have gotten my own way. I have always been quite good at that - getting the result that I want. I can work hard; I can charm; I can joke.

My son is better at all of that. He can see right through my manipulation skills. His are way better than mine. Way way better.

We currently get along great. We both know not to cross the line with each other. We are actually alike - Aries and Scorpio are quite similar. God help the rest of the family when we team up together. They are sitting ducks.

I agree, Aries and Scorpio are quite similar. I have noticed that in my interactions here and at home. Neat.

I noticed their similarities a long time ago...they have very few differences, the only one that comes to mind right now is, that Aries is the "act now, think later"-type, and Scorpio is the "think now, act later"-type.

wow, how weird. I am a Mars in Scorpio and I'm currently at war with a Mars in Aries.
I couldn't really tell you how it's going. I'm really puzzled about the whole situation because we are both keeping the cards tight to our chests. With all this secrecy (I think I started it) it's hard to tell WHAT is actually going on. I am hoping I win this battle but at the moment I'm quite unsure.
It's being fought with most unfortunate weapons- sex, manipulation, deception and looks (the stinging kind). Wish me luck!

I have Scorpio Sun and Aries Moon.

It really makes me wonder....What does that make me....

"act now, think later"-type or

"think now, act later"-type.

why dont you ask me? i've gone up against both of them in fist fights and especially mars in scorpio in other battles. i am an aries sun, and scorpio ascendant, with mars in taurus. i would have to give a lot of respect to mars in aries. the guy i fought was 10lbs less than me, out of shape, with no training. he had heart, it took me a good 3 minutes to get the little ****** into a rear naked choke because he had this heart-no quit attitude. he didnt care how skilled i was. mars in scorpio is a different story. my father has mars in scorpio conjunct with just about every other planet in scorpio. hes been training in the martial arts since he was about 10. hes 52 now. he is FAST. REAL FAST. i have to completely focus to stop him from hitting me. no playing around with him. on the ground though, he has no chance. i can beat him in a few seconds. so let me put it like this, fighting against a mars in aries is like trying to wrestle with a wild animal, while mars in scorpio is very tricky because they dont play fair. mars in aries is the stronger of these 2 mars signs, naturally and has a huge potential. mars in scorpio likes battle too but it is more cunning than aries because it has to be. the thing about that is heart isnt something that can't be taught, you are born with it but mars in aries can learn the tricks mars in scorpio uses and turn things around. you should see the look on their face when theyre plan has failed and they have no other options. its a deer in the headlights kinda look. either that or they resort to a less than stellar side plan which often results in failure.
as far as just a plain struggle for power. mars in scorpio is no joke. they have this way of making you take a good look at yourself. if you've already done that, you are immune to that venom. what can they expose that you are not afraid of revealing anyways? mars in aries can resort to some very childish behavior. much like mars in leo, they engage in struggles for power without much tact. a lot of times a screaming match. mars in scorpio will make sure they are heard, and start leading you into one oscillating painful realization to the next and they have of course set it up to where they are totally protected and you are exposed. psychologically, mars in scorpio has excellent defense mechanisms like mars in cancer. for example, to avoid humiliation, they'll do something like "i know my shirt looks silly but YOU, you put that piece of **** on leaving the house thinking you look ******* cool!". aries however tends to be the most unfazed by praise or persecution. they tend to be just like their birthstone, unbreakable. the real fact is is that aries is the FIGHT of the zodiac. all of that energy comes mars, the supreme ruler of aries, no pluto to dilute it, it is PURE fight. thats why aries is the god of war. they are to be respected, admired, and followed. thats just the way it is. a lot of people dont like it, and aries has gotten a pretty bad rep in the zodiac, but thats just the way it is.

try not fighting. be honorable, be respectful. wish nothing but best for your "opponent". let them dig themselves a hole. soon, they will fall in it.

In a physical fight.. I'd say Aries Mars. I've seen enough Arien Mars punch people in the face right then and there if you p!ss them off. They get it over with and rarely hold any grudges. But Scorpio Mars can be the most vindictive, grudge bearing people.. They will wait FOREVER to get you back. I was once hurt by a Scorpio Mars yearssss ago. Man this girl waited years to fukk me over! Afterwards she felt so bad that she tried to apologize. I ignored her then, and to this day, 10 years later, she still tries to make amends. Purely relentless, for good or bad.
