Heart-shaped Cross, I like your style of writing in that post! It's really original and creative and makes sense in a poetic way to me. I'm going to keep my eyes open for other posts by you - I'm a beginner and I really appreciate when all this info I'm trying to soak up can be made interesting. See you around! Lemingtyne

Mercury in virgo in the 7th conjunct mars. I get along with other virgos on the surface as long as i don't spend too much time with them, otherwise they start to aggravate me and visa versa i am sure. But my sun and mars are virgo too so i think it is just too much similarity from that sign. I actually get along best with capricorns and cancers.IP: Logged |

NM: Thanks. I like that kind of thinking too. It doesn't stop me from making a decision quickly, but it does bother some of the people in my life. My Cancer/Cancer/Pisces friend constantly tells me "You're no help" after I give her an "opinion" she asked for... I probably heard her say that 20 times on our walk last nite. After 10 years of friendship... you'd think she'd know by now. (Mercury in Gemini)Back to your original question... I get along GREAT with Libras. Always comfortable around them, and really enjoy the debates they start. An Observer: I thought I was loaded up w/Scorpio. My Uranus and Mercury are late degrees in Libra, 29 and 25. I was thinking the same thing.... I posted about it in my "TEST" thread, in FFA. Regarding Libra Mercury... I am a salesperson, and people find I give them too many options.. they appreciate that I can tell them the pros and cons of each product, ( honestly )and like the choice, but yes, I talk around things... if faced with a decision, I wonder where my fixedness is... But I can talk, that's for sure!!!! IP: Logged |

Hey pixelpixie,I don't know a lot but what i do know is that a retrograde planet causes you to be more introverted, things are directed inwards so it would cause difficulty in communicating. This does effect me quite a bit, i need time to think things through or i get confused and then my mind blanks out. And i am always thinking thinking thinking. People look at me and say what's wrong? And nothing will be wrong i am just busy thinking really hard about something. If people try to explain things to me unless they explain slowly and in detail they totally lose me and just look at them and say, what? The only way i can decipher it is to take what they are saying and rearrange it into my own words and repeat it back to them. It's very frustrating i used to really get down on myself about it cause i thought something was really wrong with me, then i realized what was causing it and i feel a better about it now. Tarutaru, here are my planetary positions:Sun Libra 9 Moon Taurus 4 Mercury Libra 9 Venus Sagittarius 10 Mars Leo 8 Jupiter Libra 9 Saturn Libra 9 Uranus Scorpio 10 Neptune Sagittarius 12 Pluto Libra 9 Ascendant Capricorn 1 We've both got a lot of planets in Libra: Sun, Mercury & Pluto in common. Cool I was born 10/15/1981 p.s. here is some more info on our mercury! Mercury in Libra With Mercury in Libra you are the diplomat par excellence, since you have a harmonious way of expressing yourself and love to keep the peace. Your greatest interest is in psychology, people's behaviour and how society fits together. You are keen on fairness, justice and loathe deception even more than arguments. Brash, vulgar, bad mannered or devious people make your hair stand on end, and you will go well out of your way to avoid them. Even sloppy dressing, inappropriate ways of talking, make you wince. Libra's famed indecisiveness, can make you dither around trying to make up your mind. You insist on seeing right round a subject, testing out every possible viewpoint. On occasion the opportunity to act or make a decision is lost by the time you have reached your conclusion. But your comments and opinions are usually wise once you know what they are. You can be enormously charming but at other times can be a mite too superficial since you like to be accepted. You often take mate's views too much into account. You need to develop your own opinions. Mercury in the Ninth Mercury, the communication planet, is in the ninth house, which rules the higher mind and long distance travel, so you have wide-ranging interests, a mind that is tolerant, expansive and enthusiastic, and an articulate way of expressing yourself. Others find you inspiring, honest and confident though at times you have been known to promise more than you can deliver. Not essentially practical in outlook, you can get swept up in your enthusiasms to the point where you lose touch with what is realistically possible. High flown subjects like philosophy and religion fascinate you and your ideas are always to the point and candid. You love talking to people from different backgrounds, different countries. You will write and teach well, and could be attracted to professions involved in education, communication or travel. ------------------ Libra Sun, Taurus Moon, Capricorn Rising

I’m such a doofus. Not only did I not welcome the new knowflakes but I didn’t look at the second page Welcome everyone please excuse my forgetfulness. Geminstone, so there is a pattern. I knew there was more to Mercury…since half my friends are Aquarians - what I don’t understand is…why the other half are Leo jk I think it works both ways. AngelOH - sorry, my abbreviation looks like a formula. Your Sun is in Cancer and you’re with someone who’s Mercury is in Aries. Maybe it’s not only conj that work with the Sun and Mercury - but opposites and squares…maybe? lol Taurean_S…I can be slow sometimes ( talking that is ), it could be a fixed Merc thing. TP - I’m don’t know the degrees but those are some cool aspects between you and your bf Thank you 26 you helped me achieve some of them…cool huh? lol You see it’s kinda confusing to ask someone if they get along with those of the same sign. So my question is, do you get along with Arians and Gemini with Mercury in Taurus? An Observer you definitely picked the right username. IP: Logged |

You know after looking at some of you Knowfs Mercury aspects I’m a little upset. I have no major Mercury aspects - does that mean anything? I’m pretty sure I can think and talk HSC those are some aspects now I’m jealous. LadyS you said you’ve been attracted to Mercury in Aquarius. What about Mercury in Taurus or Leo. Sorry I’m trying to find a pattern here but I don’t think it’s working lol. SparlingSag - I couldn’t think of an abbreviation like with the others I think it’s different if your Sun and Merc are in the same sign. So how about Scorpios and Capricorns with Merc in Sag? Do you find you get along with them? Suzyque, what about Leos and Libras with Mercury in Virgo? Do find it easy to get along with them? ScotS, you get along great with Libras - very cool, my hope is rising. Perhaps there is a unique connection with the Sun and Mercury in the same sign…between friends and couples. I’ve always noticed it. Oh and welcome to you too J Gull I’m thinking about changing my username as well. IP: Logged |

lol cancerrg no prob. quote: When the Sun in your chart forms an aspect to your partner's Jupiter: When your Sun conjuncts your partner's Jupiter, the partnership is often viewed as a great pleasure. Your partner will ultimately give you the benefit of the doubt in most everything you do. Of course, you shouldn't abuse that faith! It doesn't mean that you will always be "forgiven". What it does mean is that your partner puts a large dose of faith into you, and generally views you with warmth and good favor. You are likely to respond to your partner by pulling up the very best from inside of you. Even though difficulties can arise between you, there is generally good will between you that is distinctive. This is generally the making of a real friendship. You must guard against overindulgence, however. You may find that you encourage expansiveness in each other, which, when taken to extremes (which is often the case with this combination!), overindulgence is quite possible. If this configuration also includes Saturn, however, these tendencies will be somewhat muted. There is an openness between you that is unmistakable, and you are eager to please each other, drawing upon the warmest and most noble parts of your personalities to offer one another. Optimism and enthusiasm is generated between the two of you your Sun sextile or trine your partner's Jupiter. The Jupiter person always seems to give you the benefit of the doubt, and trusts your good heart at the end of the day. Your partner can help you by opening up new doors, new avenues of expression, and building your self-confidence. Even if there are more somber cross-aspects in the synastry of your relationship, this one offers truly fun moments that smooth over differences at the end of the day. Together, you can envision wonderful things, and together you can also overdo pleasurable things, simply because of the confidence stimulated between you! Making each other smile is easy with this combination, and even if the relationship were to turn and you were to separate, positive memories and mutual respect would remain. The desire to make each other happy is apparent when your Sun squares or opposes your partner's Jupiter. Excess is associated with Jupiter, however, and if it exists, it does stem from good intentions. If either of you over-indulges the other, it is because you both have a deep need to make one another happy. The Jupiter person has the power to lift the Sun person's spirits up, which is a powerful, natural, and positive "drug". At times, you expect a little too much of each other and of your partnership. Together, you may overspend and overdo, and the focus may be on pampering each other and perhaps overlooking some of the nitty-gritty details of existence. Even if you are moderate people individually, you may be inclined to overdo things a little with each other, because of your chemistry.
In cafe astrology Sun conj Jupiter scored a 3. And 3 is the second strongest compatibility factor…according to them. quote: Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, giving you extraordinary powers of imagination and a keen insight into human relationships. This placement makes you enterprising, ambitious, kind, sociable and sympathetic. You may tend to be a homebody with definite opinions about child rearing and how a household should be run, organized and maintained. There can be strong feeling for the well-being of others, and this can express itself in occupations such as hotel/motel management, bed-and-breakfast, restaurant, medical field, etc. You have an excellent memory for names and faces and for significant events in your own childhood. A fertile imagination makes for success in any creative pursuit or in the finding of creative solutions to just about any problem. There can be a nostalgia for times past or a special identification with a specific period of history. You have a certain shrewdness or toughness which may emerge as business sense. You have an ability not only for making money, but for holding onto it and making it grow. Religious/philosophical beliefs and opinions on social issues may fluctuate from time to time, but this leads to the acquiring of a balanced, humane perspective later in life. There can be great enthusiasm for food and its preparation, with a definite flair for international cuisine. You derive luck through family connections, family-held interests, parents, inheritance, land, real estate, children, and antiques.

I know a few Libras, but noone VERY close in my life. My man is a Virgo with Mercury in Libra though.
