nope .. it be no fabrication .. would be quite willing to confirm if neccessary .. but certainly not thru a public forum ..
anyhow .. i apologize for seeing red and am sorry this bereavment thread 'turned' .. and maybe i was resposible for it .. i don't know .. would have to reread thread i guess .. right now it's simply too hot wheatherwise for me to care about it ..

**anyways.
end of that** .. ditto ..

***You guys please let it go?we?re supposed to be sending our prayers***
.. will do .. looking at news on tv daily .. everytime i see someone searching for a missing
person .. well that seems to be one of the worst aspects of it .. and a prayer goes out from
here on the moment ..

apologies again for maybe winding things up ( ie .. causing an upset )

Now THAT was moving HappyDragon...it was no one person's fault...it is a hot subject and this tragedy painfully hit everyone's sensitive core.

I hope that Londoners are back on their feet...stunned yet strong. You living there (despite that awful heat) reminds us that everyone is important...and we care about our friends here at LindaLand!!

So many Knowflakes all over the globe...each unique and wonderful.

Make Peace my dear Friends...

****You know I just realised something - Off Topic btw - but isn?t the US Cancer? And the first president Piscean?****

.. as far as i know .. the u.s.a. be regarded as cancerian .. having once spent time traveling thru the states i get the impression that cancer energies play a part .. the availabilty of great food just about anywhere .. the welcoming homely nature of people in general .. could go on .. .. **edit as in historical boo boo**

.. i was thinking down that ( cancerian ) path a few days ago .. there was a documentry on the tv about the attack on pearl harbour that drew the u.s. into WW2 .. before pearl harbour .. the u.s military was about the same size as the hungarian army .. the prime motivation .. according to the commentator .. was revenge ( i.e. the u.s. declaring war on japan ) .. the final consequence from a 'power' aspect was that the u.s. by the end of WW2 had become the dominant global military power .. and so remains .. ( tv doc was on a day after the water signs and revenge thread ) ...
.. that and recent LL clashes have caused me to think about my cancer asc as well .. the only water in my chart and occupied by urns .. all on its own .. .. i mean looking back in years .. i would say that .. revenge has deffinitley been a motivating force for me on a few occassions .. and grudge holding on my part can last decades ( .. i wouldn't know if that's water/cancer associated ) ..

.. from an astro point i think the current Sat/Chiron may be evident via the various .. ummm .. heated debates hereabouts .. .. i did note an upsurge in violence at one previous Sat/Chiron clash .. both localy and abroad ..

.. news just on now .. 5 houses raided in this county/district thought to be directly connected to london attack .. and unfortunately some racial attacks have occured in the uk .. i live in an area with a large asian population .. mostly from pakistan in the immediate area .. but i do worry how some of my muslim aquaintances might be faring .. i mean it realy was heartbraking to see a greiving grandfather .. obviously a devout muslim .. crying over his missing grandaughter .. ( on tv )

***You living there (despite that awful heat)***
.. cheers .. ain't half as bad as some places .. a humid day in say .. nyc .. probably far far worse ..
.. drinking hot tea be quite effective for cooling down ones body ..
.. i just be hoping the racial heat cools down here ..

'till later

Absolutely right HD - the really tragic thing will be if people start to turn against muslims to get some kind of revenge for the attacks.

It's so worrying that some people can't see and understand that the majority of Muslims have condemned the bombings (not just in the UK but everywhere that there's been a terrorist act committed in the name of Islam) and an awful lot of Muslims were caught up in the attacks. London is such a diverse city and Aldgate where one of the bombs went off is a particularly Muslim area I believe.

It's really tragic that those poor misguided people who got together to plan and execute this "blessed raid on London" as they called it, can't see that Islam is a far from violent religion - in fact I think it actually says in the Koran that killing is abhorred by Islam. However, as with all religions, it's open to misinterpretation and misuse, and that's the case with terrorism I think.

talking of army , my own uncle fought three wars .
and i know what psychopathic is , infact i am answering his post .
"just sitting behind the barrel of the gun ", i know u have done just that , nothing else .
ever fired a single bullet? ok, i forgot - u said , "from the best seat in town" , hope it was comfortable , was the 'ac 'on sir?
more important have u ever used your jammed mind ?
dont worry i wont bother u to a have a political debate b'cos its something above your level . u better G.F.U.M. and tell me the details .

So, cancerrg, what you are implying then is that the American people and/or government are responsible for the London bombings?

NO , i didn't say your people but i yes i said that your goverment has a responsbility . u can't deny this .

quote:
Oh? I wonder at your presumption in judging the depths of my compassion at deaths and destruction in India and Kashmir. You don’t know me. How can you think you know how I would feel about injustice and hatred anywhere in the world? You are tarring me with a very broad parochial brush, and I resent that.

again it wasn't meant for u , it was solely meant for your govt. and the ...... who talks of sitting behind the barrel.

quote:
the parentage of Al Qaeda exists in those theocracies where wrenching poverty, unemployment, lack of education, and blatant injustice are promoted by the theocrats

and who supports those theocracies ? wasn't sadddam your own when he was fighting iran?
what about other generals . shall i name a few?

quote:
also wonder sometimes at the perception that a country less than 300 years old could have ULTIMATE power and voice and control over theocracies that are thousands of years old.

ofcourse they are thousand of yrs . old but this is like asking- about britain whose empire spanned all over the world just fifty yrs ago , has so less influence today ? why?

quote:
Cancerreg, I am sorry that you are so bitter against the United States

I AM NOT BITTER AGAINST ANYONE .
least of all , america . before i tell u why , let me give u a fact - there was a recent survey regarding perception of america in different countries , and the result - it was least hated in india and the surprise ,more so in countries that it has althrough supported, even the autocracies .

u need to introspect why this has happened ?

ok, whether u come to our help or not ( btw do u remember how many times u have come to our help in our squables , though i must not undermine america's humanitarian help to the world not us only)
we still are taught in our history classes that america was supportive of our freedom even when britain was stubbornlly refusing it .so i and all indians will always be grateful to america for that .

quote:
I only hope that the squabbles your country has with Pakistan and the hatred bred between your two nations does not cause either one of you to get trigger happy and nuke the other.

THIS MAKES ME LAUGH PID .
why ? b'cos the country that nuked the whole innocent population just to prove the supermacy over its future arch rival , some one from the same place is preaching us .
thats what the problem is , pid . double standard . u actually prove my point .

thats what i said , when a bomb explodes in riyadh - its a bloody muslim muslim problem , when it does so in bombay - its a idotic third world squabble but its different when it does so in london or madrid .

last but not the least , i apologize for turning this thread into a political debate rather than letting it to be what it was maent to be .
i apologize .

and pid , i would like your ton to put my insolent attitude in check.

"when u stand for truth , you are bound to be kicked ".

demonising a religion wont help b'cos no religion teaches to hate , not yours not mine .

no mother gives birth to a terrorist , but they are created . thats politics .

i wasn't here for blamegame .
its always hard to accept the truth.but its more necessary than anything else.sometime.

To quote myself and at the risk of sounding boring...

"Please let's set an example here. Please let's agree to disagree and take each other's points of view on board even if we don't agree with them. To end karma, the old wise ones say we must forgive one another and more importantly love one another. Well I'll start the ball rolling shall I and put me money where me big mouth is!

I love you all xx"

Oh and I love ya mum's as well!

cancerrg,

Talking to you is a waste of time as it is evident that you do NOT understand. You are just another one of those outsiders that thinks your OPINION will just make America roll over and do nothing.

Do not say we nuked an innocent nation, as we NEVER have in the history of this country. We have gone after countries that have attacked us first - then we set things straight.

But hey, why not live in your mythical world right? You seem so happy there anyway.

give me your version of the truth , zala .
i too can put that sentence for u and others .

why can't u people accept a simple fact of life that everyone can make a mistake .
i repeat again , i am not america or any other country .
but it should be understood that a great nation too can make a mistake .
just because i am an indian , everything that india does , doesn't have to have my or others support . just b'cos its my country , doesn't mean everything that it does has to great . accept this simple fact .

and the last word , its all politics .
it doesn't have to involve common people but there are things that happen without our consent , thats where u , me and all need to voice our concern , not just blindly support that govt.

i still feel western world has to share responsibilty for whats happening around the world .

oops, sorry ms.rigteous !
the opposite applies , we are already in the real world where pain is understood and felt .
where bombs make a difference not in strategic military capabilities but in lives .

quote:
Do not say we nuked an innocent nation

OH , RIGHT !
u didn't nuked an innocent nation . yeah , u are right , those millions were not innocent people but demons .weren't they mem!

go check your history book ms. righteous , japan was already contemplating surrender , infact it was a question of "when" , not a yes or no , ok. the real purpose of that bomb was not what u believe and would like allothers to believe.

quote:
You are just another one of those outsiders that thinks your OPINION will just make America roll over and do nothing.

do and then wait .

and plz dont waste your time with me rather just waste a few minutes to think how many lives will this attitude require .
"HOW MANY " would u like mem ?

that would serve my purpose .
thats all.
