Well if that isn't sterotyping i don't know what is. Seems a little childish to say that. That is like saying that only your sun sign determines your ENTIRE being and most of us know that is just not true.

Leos would only like themsleves

Virgos would only like Clean people

Libra:"nice" people - if only they could figure out who that was

Scorpio: kinky people

Saggie: People with delusions if granduer

Capricorn: industrious, hard working people

Aquarius: talkative people

Aries: people who got out of their way

one of my favorite political figures of all times was a leo. from afar they are fine for me. i dont dare get near them. it puts both them and me into too much grief.

im sure there are tons of people who dont like geminis or gemini influence. i see nothing bad about it. in fact , awesome that you guys have figured it out--because then it will help to deal with that sign or avoid it, whatever you choose. i dont like my sun sign much myself. in my eyes its just the sad reality of the situation.

Hrm. I was drawing off my personal experience. I'm sure not all of them are like, that...but the ones I know are gossip queens/kings, like to pick fights, pompous...I think their suns must be highly afflicted, because they only show the negative Leonian traits. They irritate me beyond reason. I know about six or seven Leo's, and none of them ever shut up about themselves. They dramatize everything, and stick to me like glue.....unless they find someone who they're attracted to. And then I become the wallflower. I guess I'm just not good enough. Gee wiz. Lol.

I understand what u mean about stereotyping,,,,but the whole point of astrology is that people with common positions in their chart act SIMILAR and can be categorized together regarding some aspects of their personality. And like secret garden says.... we dont get along with certain signs...their traits just dont go along with ours...doesnt mean that they;re bad...coz there is no such thing as a BAD or a PERFECT sign.... that doesnt mean that as soon i see someone with a leo influence i will make assumptions about them,,,its just everyday life situations that we notice which ASTROLOGICALLY make sense...

That is one trait about cancer that bugs me, so yes there are things about every sign that is a pain, I suppose it has to do with whether or not you feel trapped with someone or not, or if that person clings to you.

Leos can be alternatively clingy and independent which is confusing.

Case in point-Leo male friend begs me to visit for Easter, then I ask him to pay for train fare and he gets cold on me. It's sort of up and down, there has to be a strong ability to be independent on yoru own around Leos.

I get along better with Leos when I am strong, and have lots of Cancer, Sag, and Virgo friends who really make up the backbone of my life. They are not perfect, but they are the backbone.

i know a guy, this same annoying cancer uncle i told yall about a while ago, hes always extolling the virtues of his mother way back in the motha-land in front of his wife of 40 yrs and it just gets so old so fast. this woman is the kindest gentlest creature ive seen she doesnt even LOOK or ACT like a gemini okay shes supposedly one but i claim a false d.o.b. coz shes wayyyyyyy too nice to be a gem woman. shes put up with his temporary joblessness, depression, (this during his youth) all sorts of prioritization of family over wife, etc, and she still gets scolded like a child. i hate that about cancer men that they scold you. they are so concerned about u that they want to tell u every little comment, like, ur fly is open and u need to lose weight, and u have a zit on ur nose. while ur at it, u looked prettier in dark hair, and laughing so loudly just isnt lady like. well ladylikeness can go to my ass and lick it coz i am too intelligent to role play some traditional woman who will cater to a mans every fart.

well thats my rant for today

ahhh. i feel relieved.

I think it's great that you have the strength of forgiveness and understanding for your friend. She's lucky to have you as a friend.

Call me crazy, but I think that when a friend starts to seeks attention (or more likely acknowledgement) from your partner, that it's a form of flattery. YOU should be flattered. It's like saying she values you and also values the person in your life. I think it's natural, especially if she's got a strong bond to you. It helps her understand where she fits in, but also, means she values the person in your life.

Of course, there is that line she shouldn't cross. But as long as you keep an eye on the situation so nothing gets wacky, to me, it's cool.

So Leo's have this thing about attention. Well, it's what makes them feel good! Just like each Sign does things that make themselves feel good. Should a Leo walk aroung cloaked in a black robe with their face covered, sitting quietly in the corner just because someone may be threatened by their enthusiasm?
