Great! Thanks for the contribution. I'll get back in some days when I've looked closer at this. Already I must say I'm surprised to see how many individuals with Sun Pluto contacts have divorced parents - I didn't even plan to look at that!

OK, here the stats:
I looked at 62 charts

20 subjects had a father who died when they where a child or in their teens

20 subjects had parents who got divorced or fathers who left them/dissappaered.

2 subjects lost their mother very early

20 subjects either have a good relationship with a father who's alive or well, or I don't have any information about the relationship with the father (except that he's alive and parents are not divorced)

Now of course I need to look at 62 charts with no Pluto Sun contact...

Pluto is fascinating, though. Interesting how many had fathers who sort of were lost and found (left and came back, or lost contact to take it up again). The most remarqable case most be of actor Orlando Bloom, Pluto Sun square. The man he thought was he's dad died when he was 4 years old. He was brought up by his mum and his warden, and when he's 12 he learns that that guys is his biological father...

I have Sun Square Pluto as well. My parents separated when I was 8 and I've had no real contact with my father since. However, if he wanted to re-connect, I'd be more than happy to. Fascinating data though.
