25 libra rising-

oh boy! i love it...as forementioned, a lot of people think i'm too flaky, too flirty, and SO NAIVE. I'd prefer it that way because then, they never suspect what i'm up to. I like being smarter than people think, it makes me feel like i've got some kind of secret power lol.

i love clothes, clothes, clothes. preferrably, VERY expensive clothes. i also love, jewelry, purses, makeup. but i use them sparingly. i've got an emotinal connection to material things, which is cool. it gives me a balance between my extremely dominating masculine traits (lots of pluto, mars, and sun) and my really, really feminine side. i gues sit makes me manipulative but in a sultry, sexy, sweet and charming kind of way. i've always known how to talk my way into getting what i want.

the only thing i think that sucks about it is my extreme indecision. drives me nuts!!

aries

very very impulsive at times and open in my approach with people.......interesting cos majority of my chart is Scorp! LOve doing things on the spur of the moment and also have firey disposition which I have learnt to control of late.......I used to be a hothead in my youth!!

I think the rising sign can be a face we present to the world, but still a big part of the personality.

I am glad that Aries rising is there cos without it I may be a bit too wet LOL!!!

My rising thing is the one thing in my chart that fits me like a glove. Usually, I tend to just read the sun sign descriptions for Virgo instead of Aries, because it fits me that well. Virgo just fits every aspect of me. I read stuff about the placing of my planets and it all just seems so wrong.

I haven't seen this thread in a while. Didn't even know I'd replied at first. Short memory sometimes.

Don't know what to make of lovely's thought, but my info is:

born on 26 Dec 1972 (pretty old, right?)local time 02:34 pm
in Orange, CA (US) U.T. 22:34
117w51, 33n47 sid. time 21:04:40

For BoE's question, my Mercury (Gemini's ruler) is in the house preceding my sun (in Sag). I don't see an aspect between the two.

With cancer as my rising sign, most of the traits I see are physical. My Libra sun blessed me with my natural curves, the Cancer rising just adds onto that a teensy bit more on my girlie parts ;D For the most part, it makes me a bit moody now and then and very sensitive to criticism. My feelings get hurt too easily, but because of my Leo moon and my tremendous amount of pride, i never show it. All in all, I adore my rising, sun and moon sign, its just my darn venus sign which is Virgo that irritates the hell out of me. Sometimes i feel so insecure im just glad i have strong signs like Leo and Aries which are also prominent in my chart.

Hehe, I'm still wondering what made lovley* think of it. Interesting, but I'm still in high school, and I live on the other side of the country. So much for that..

Hi Masked Bandito!

With Leo Rising, the Sun is my chart ruler, so I think the Lioness gets almost even billing with my Libra Sun, who, of course, is willing to share, and for everything to be Fair and Equal so I think they express with comparable strength.....

I thought you were still in high school, BoE. I thought it was a bit of a shocking thought myself, but didn't want to be rude by saying something and having it hurt your feelings or anything.

Romantically, there's only one Virgo that I know of that I have considered before (she wasn't into me). Also, I've never been under the impression that I'd like to be in a relationship with another musician. There's too much potential for resentment, whether through one-upmanship or so-called constructive criticism that really can say to us artistic types that the other person doesn't really respect what we're doing with our own art.

I'm guessing music is the reason she thought of it along with those astrological factors.

I would like to see lovely*s other secret pairings, though. Could be fun to do composite matchmaking for the fun of it around here. Since most of us don't live by one another there wouldn't be any harm in it.

BoE ..

I've not got around to to figuring the ways of my asc. ..
or how an asc. figures in my chart ..
well .. at least not sorting it out and typing the result ..

.. life has been getting in the way ..

in the meantime .. here are excerps from the same ( as the cappy text )
on aquarius and virgo .. they be half the full sign chapters .. but some of virgo
prt.1 .. was left in by accident ..

some aquarian traits http://www.happydragon.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/hdpics/aq/aq.html

ditto virgo traits http://www.happydragon.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/hdpics/vg/vg.html

be well

The Masked Bandito rides again!

HD~ Thanks so much! I read the Cappy one, and now I'm on these!

AG~ Hehe, yeah, I'm not sure if I could be in a relationship with another musician either... on one hand it sounds really cool... but on the other hand, my Leo stellium might turn it into a competition... depends on the person I guess. Yes, I'd like to see what lovley*'s been up to myself! That should be interesting to see what she's observed of us all.

Wow! So we both have earth suns, air ascendants, and stelliums in fire in the 7th(mine's in Sag)? And we both play music. That's pretty coincidental. Is your moon also earth (cappy, like I'm reading)? My moon is Virgo.

It seems we're pretty similar on an elemental level. I never knew this much about your chart to make that connection. If your 7th house stellium is like mine, you may not start to really get your life together until you're my age. At least that's what I'm finding. Everyone's different, though, so who knows?

Wow, that is weird! Huh... But no, my Moon is in Leo. I was reading the Cappy thing about my bassist who I find slightly mysterious. Still pretty similar though.
My life... yep... I don't expect it to get "together" for a long while looking at it now...

Yeah, I'm not sure what your chart looks like, but you can see in mine where I've only got one planet in the first four houses, and it's Saturn, so my youth was a bit harsh. I would guess that I've got to be through to at least the 5th or 6th house stage of my life by now, and a whole lot should theoretically happen within the next 20 years I'm guessing. Maybe I will become a rock star after all. It's a strange, but comforting feeling knowing that I'm just gonna be a late bloomer.

Of course, I'm hoping that no astrologer comes along and tells me that my thinking is incorrect (Wilson, are you out there?). On the other hand (my air influence chimes in), perhaps I'll manifest this into actuality simply because I believe and am looking for it to happen. There are a lot of lessons I'm now conscious about trying to learn thanks to astrology.

Capricorn Sun, Taurus Rising and Taurus Moon in the 1st. Also got Saturn in Taurus. But I feel more like a fire sign ~ lots of Sag in my chart (also stellium in the 7th (Sag). Being more of an earth sign I should probably be more reserved but I always find myself being the life of a party. I can also talk your ear off (Mercury in Sag).

I know plenty of Taurus who are the life of the party. They're very popular.

Sag and Taurus together is practically a party unto itself. Cap, Sag and Taurus speaks to me of music. Do you play an instrument or sing? All three of those signs enjoy doing both.

Gemini rising

The much fabled speaker/writer/motor mouth that can start a conversation about religion and in five minutes somehow wind up arguing about the best chicken wing recipe.
The philosopher. What is life? Wy are we here?
The mind games (are Geminis notorious for that?) I'm sleepy.

Where is Mystic Gemini? That nut job. Yeah!
I can be crazy like her too, worse even

AG you might be a rockstar yet! I wish I could hear you play someday.

Leoelf~ LOL, yeah, I got lotsa Aqua too... only I have trouble telling the difference between Aqua, Leo, and Virgo quite often. The way I think I sometimes think is
Aqua-ish, but then again it could be Virgo analyzing everything to the last bit... the way I dress could be a Leo attention grabber, or an Aqua one... So...yep, it can confuse me. Althogh it is all so tied in with one another anyway...it's like atoms There are millions of them in one object. Put them together one way, and you've got one object, another, and you have something entirely different, or a painting... Paintings don't consist of one colour, just as people don't consist of one set of traits, the different colours , no matter how small the addition, makes the utmost difference to the whole painting... Heh, that probably made no sense, ok I'll shut up now.

I have 4 planets in Gemini and my Asc is Virgo with a conjunct with Pluto Uranus and all are in my 1st house. I am VERY Virgo. I can be so nit picky and OCD it's not even funny. I also have a very conservative and severe style of dressing until you get to my feet. I usually where fun, happy, sassy shoes and that's where the Gemini comes out until you get to know me. Then I'm SO Gemini and completely nutters.

Never had the opportunity to play AG but I've been told that I have a beautiful voice and I do like to sing and would prefer listening to music than watching television. It has a calming effect on me.
