Okay, here it is. Jeez, I feel funny having all my flaws exposed like that... Let's hope nobody else looks at it (You being a Pisces and all, are going to be gentle, right?)BTW, don't you have a "famous personality" living on Jersey? Name is Jack Higgins, I think. He writes spy novels. You heard of him? Anywhere, here goes: IP: Logged |

Ha ha - his real name is Harry Paterson and yes he writes novels, he wrote the famous Eagle has Landed, made famous in the film with Michael Caine and Larry Hagman, amongst numerous othersand whether you choose to believe me or not, my X g/f and her sisters had one of his books 'Dillinger' dedicated to them. If you ever get a copy, open it up and the names Sarah, Kate and Rebecca wil be in there. He is a family freind of theirs. No lie Nigel Mansell also lives over here, as does Derrick Warrick - formula one racing drivers of a few years back As does Alan Wicker, t.v personality form the 60's and 70's and the list continues. Holy cow! I'm impressed... What is it, an island for rugged individualists, far from the rushing crowds, solitude, sitting on cliffs by the raging sea, and all that? So, when are YOU going to be come famous? IP: Logged |

Ha ha only for the very wealthy!!! it's one of a group of 5 inhabited and about 9 counting the non habited ones, about 15 miles from the French coast Jersey is the largest of the group at a total of 45square miles in total. A very big finace centre due to the tax benefits here as although governed by the English crown, we don't follow their tax rules. But as a local, believe me, we still pay tax - a lot of it. Me famous? ha ha maybe if I ever get around to completing my Astrology diploma and go proffessional, I might be LOL IP: Logged |
