Hi, all! It's my birthday today! I would welcome it if people had some comments on my solar return chart... to see what's ahead for me in the coming year, which I feel is going to be pivotal for me.. in a good way, I hope. The planets in blue are the natal positions, the red ones the return. One thing that strikes me is that the return Asc. is conj. my natal Mars, the other that the two north nodes oppose each other. (That's probably not so cool, huh?) Anyway, appreciate your thoughts... IP: Logged |

I have a hard time reading wheels. I don't know if you can forcast based on your solar return. Shouldn't you look at the transits, not just today, but in the future.. to forcast what's up and coming?Happy birthday!!! IP: Logged |

Thanks Hexxie and Viper!Yes, Hexxie, that's it, the Sun is at the exact degree (that actually happened yesterday) that is was at when born. Supposedly, the Solar chart gives a snap shot of the year to come, or, as I read somewhere, the next 6 months. There are those who say one can do another one for the second half of the year. I don't know too much about it either. Any chance, Viper, of your looking at my chart, since it's already there? You are pretty good with readings. I finally learned how to post an image, so I feel real good about that, lol! But is this really easier for people to read than the long laundry list of planet and house cup positions? I am always puzzled when people post those, because it's so labor-intensive for someone to interpret. (Or is there some secret method people use?) IP: Logged |

If aspects, signs and degrees are posted it's easier to read. Wheels are just a pain to look at for me, especially wheels placed upon other wheels like in synastry. My eyes cross. Not complaining or asking you to change it, LOL.. IP: Logged |

Why do I think you are pretty good at charts?I don't know if that's how I phrased it, but what I was referring to in my mind was your sensitive descriptions, almost narratives, concerning Pisces, and also aspects of Pluto a while ago. But maybe that's because those had personal relevance to you, and they don't necessarily indicate astrological insights in general. BTW, what you said about Venus in Pisces needing to be near water -- I have the same thing, and not a single planet in Pisces. But Neptune sextile Venus, could that do it? I am always wondering where my fascination with water comes from. I have 4 fish tanks in my house, and of course green turtles, and if I don't go to the beach to walk and sit there at least once a week I feel I am missing something crucial in my life. Weird... That wasn't from Randall, it was from cross-eyed lovely*, lol...Hey, wait a minute, what time is it over where you are, Viper?? Aren't you 6 hours ahead of us? Focus on my future, since the past is forgettable and the present sucks. I want to know if there is anything good ahead of me, like a new beginning.... in anything. Will my marriage break up, my business take off, love affairs, you name it. If you don't see anything good, make it up. (no, wait, don't do that, lol!) In this chart there is only natal planets in blue, and the solar return. Maybe lovely* is right (even though she's cross-eyed) and I should focus on transits. But astro.com won't let me put transits on there too, would have to do a natal with transits. Would that be more helpful? IP: Logged |

Ha, I know it's right ther, I am staring at it - ha ha ha haThe thing is, I'm a little bewildered by the placements. For progressed charts, you take each day after the date of birth to represent a year of life. Therefore your progressed chart for the coming year would be using planet placements from 16th October 1959. The chart you have displayed in this thread, is using the planets placement from yesterday! which only offer transits to the natal chart, I may need a little time on this one. Did you not place your chart details for me elswhere on the site? or was that someone else? Ha ha What time is it over there BTW - it's quarter past one in the afternoon over here IP: Logged |

It's 8:36 am over here. And yes, it must have been someone else who posted a chart somewhere else. (My computer decided to update itself, and everything slowed down -- these things have a mind of their own! It just finished.)What I did was a Solar Return. That takes a snapshot of the chart when the Sun is in the exact same position as it was at birth. BTW, look in Free-for-All, Pixie started a happy birthday thread there unbeknownst to me, and there are a couple of great shots of turtles on there! Natal with transits coming up, thanks to slow-poke computer.
