Whoa. I cannot find anything on this whatsoever. But, what does it mean if a person's EROS and MARS are sitting on another's MC??PS: And don't say it means we will have a wild mad hot make out session on top of his office desk where his career is of optimal importance. LOL. IP: Logged |

The way I always view conjunctions which really helps me understand them is that it's two people expressing a similar energy in two different areas of life/themselves. That's of course if it's a conjunction between MC and Mars, for example, or any two different aspects of the chart. If it's a moon/moon or mars/mars thing, then it's the same energy in the same way. In your case it's similar energy in two different areas of life. I know that MC is always associated with career but a while back I read an amazing article about it really being the face we consciously project to the world. He wrote about the ascendant as being our unconscious, reflexive face that's really a part of us and the MC as being more of a real "mask", that we deliberately wear when out there roaming the world. So.. in this case, I would say that the way you express your energy, enthusiasm, sexual desires, the way you initiate and battle, and all those other lovely Mars things is compatible/very similar to his public persona, as well as all those parts of him which strive for success and recognition. In the sense of how you affect one another- I feel like this aspect may create a kind of competition between the two of you, somewhere between work and sex, a war of sorts. If this is a romantic relationship, it may fuel the fire for a bit, but also cause some trouble, depending on what your priorities are, I suppose. From Peri’s “If I…” thread: If I martialize a planet in your chart, then I press it toward courage and assertiveness, also bringing out whatever anger or frustration it may contain. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/006463.html Maybe you motivate him but also aggravate any frustrations he may have with 10th house issues and his “station” in life? Oh, I assumed from your post that you’re the Mars, because of your last comment. Maybe I’m wrong? And I’m not sure about Eros. I haven’t gotten used to thinking asteroids in synastry. *edited bunch of typosIP: Logged |

Gosh Whiterabbit, you are so good, so precise, so dead on sometimes. That is raising a veil for me, and I am getting a good peek. Wonderful things to think about. We are long time acquaintances, new friends --but: 1) He will diminsh himself..ie say "Yeah me and my mid life crisis, and I will respond. You're young; you're vibrant, come on!! Or he'll say jokingly --yeah I'm writing a book like that Dr. so and so. And I will say, "Wow? Are you--well you should--you're smarter than him or her. Besides, I'm an editor. I could edit it." (he laughs) He is so excellent in his work, very gentle and bright but I think he is humble and could do and be even more if he wanted. (His judgement, his call) His MC is Aries; Yes my Eros and Mars are Aries. So this makes much sense what you say. It is also clear to me (something he said once) that he wishes to project more fire, more playful flirt but there is a struggle there. I encourage that side as I think it is part of his core whether through longing, wanting or deeply recessed. The competition thing is not sexual as much as I think he sometimes looks at me and thinks --geez energy--I want that energy, why her? And I look him and say, slow gentleness, I want that, why him? Thanks that helps me alot! IP: Logged |

"Mars Aspecting the Mid-Heaven: Inclines towards careers involving action and conflict, such as anything to do with the military or sports, but Mars isn’t that picky about it. Any career will do, as long as there is plenty of action. General Patton had the opposition of Mars to the Mid-Heaven. The stress aspects increase the chance of arguments with the boss, or authority figures in general. The harmonious aspects give energy to the career without all the extra strife." www.bobmarksastrologer.com/aspectsmars.htm ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged | |
