Interesting.Natally, I have Saturn c. MC within 2 degrees. Now, my saturn has progressed to 7th house (just recently) and it's sextile MC.
I've read a lot over the years trying to understand Saturn there. With benefit of age and knowing how my life & close ones unfolded, I think now Saturn on MC actually indicates being very dedicated and driven to fulfill MC (whatever sign is there, any others attached to it or aspected - aspects etc.) but that we have LIMITED TIME to accomplish promise of natal MC. Also it will probably be not an easy path. Obstacles, unexpectedly more than others experience, may happen.
The limited time thing is important to note because that turned out to be true for me though I didn't know it. I know it NOW and can clearly see, how hard I pushed myself and laser focus on career and school (Aries progressed MC). Others would try to distract me or say "slow down" but something was driving me and I knew I couldn't stop yet. I was just getting ready to when life happened.
I had an illness, genetic, which would flare and knock me out of my career. So I did have limited time. I did fulfill my MC, but mostly after I got knocked out of my life with illness. While my progressed MC was in Aries. My natal MC is pisces. I needed the Aries work to do the Pisces fulfillment. Two very different types of MC I think (chiron in 10th pisces too)
So for whatever that's worth, sharing, just in case it helps clarify when looking at your own chart. My saturn is driven by uranus natally so it burned fast, hot, laser focused, then it seemed to retire to a puppy farm :-) when my saturn progressed into pisces as MC was finishing Aries.
