Do all men just think your Nuts when you talk about Astrology? I find it scares a lot of men away and makes them think your Nuts!

Well actually I'm dealing with a Mercury Capricorn so not sure if it's all men?

I like it, and I'm a guy and a Capricorn. My Taurus best friend doesn't put much stock in it. My other guy friends find it kind of fascinating that I know everyone's sign. They think it's a memory thing, when really it's an association thing. I'd probably find it more difficult to remember someone's ethnicity than their sun sign. Anyway...

There's another dude @ my old office who's a Virgo w/ a Taurus Moon (don't remember his Merc...his Asc's Aqua I think...common thread?) and he's all kinds of into Astrology.
I think he likes the orderliness of it (or at least the orderliness he sees in it).

At that same old job there's a Scorp w/ either a Gem or Taurean Moon (I have no idea about the rest of his chart) who's kind of into it...more into his people's Moon-based astrological system, though.
He's an American Indian who believes in a hodge European Pagan/Buddhist/and his Native teachings, so I guess he's a different story, too.

Oh good so there is Hope. He's 27 degrees Sagittarius with Capricorn Mercury!

Hopefully he doesn't think I'm Insane, cause I did his astrology report for him and haven't heard from him since, I'm not sure if it was the Astrology or something else. He got scared about something!

I know I'm all freaked cause I met him and also ironically got to meet his father also. The first time I met him he was with his father. I got this Stupid Soul Mate Report done in April and I went home and read the dumb thing and it described him and his father and where we met to a T. Then I got all nervous and told him about the Soul mate report, haven't seen or heard from his since Friday 9/2. Had a great time both days I spent with him but hate the not calling thing.

He's a Sag, though. You may have to call him. They get busy with things.

Did you talk astrology with him in front of his dad? Do you think he might be hesitant to let himself be judged by his father for going out with you? Did you come across as nuts?

My Sag friends have all been ok with my liking astrology. One even recently looked at his own chart much to his amazement. He said it's everything he hopes people learn about him after knowing him for a short while.

No I didn't talk about it infront of his father it was our second meeting that I gave him the report. But his dad was much odder than both of us put together, in a good way so I doubt that had anything to do with it! He was a very down to earth regular guy, who may have a little drinking problem and is a lot of fun to converse with! The Son is a lot more Stoic and is smart but chooses his words very wisely unlike myself and his father, who just talk, talk, talk. He father liked me a lot.

I would call him but don't want to make a fool of myself!

I had a Libra friend with aan Aqua Moon, and Pisces ASC who didn't even give astrology a chance. He thought I was silly I'm sure, though he was always nice enough to protect my veiws when someone else tried to attack them. I know a Gemini guy who, I think, thought it was interesting that I was into it. He said there was some truth in it, but it was too much effort to try and delve into it's complexities.

Nope, if anyhting I have the oposate problem.

Around up state NY its more guys that seem to be interested in the stars.. The woman here arent much for brains, and dont suealy seem to want to learn anything.

So when out and about meeting new peaple, especialy women, I just dont say anyhting about astrology as Im trying to find out there signs, numbers,, if someone brings it up, I just play stupid till I get to know em better.

OMG, AG, I get that too. Only the other day, my friend was saying "It's weird how you remember everyone's sign". Haha, little does she know...!

The only guys I've ever talked to it about, are ones I've done charts for. Well, ok, so I do everybody's chart but still, I mean, they're usually interested because I'm talking about them, which is enough to interest any guy!
The only man who's 100% refused to believe it is my Dad. My Mum's even done his chart for him, and he isn't even slightly astonished that both of our Suns and Moons are opposed, or that both his and my mother's suns and Ascendants were opposed. Silly man

Yea but I took out anything that had to do with future or marriage or anything like that, just left his description, his childhood, parents and where and when we met, and what kind of cloths he would have on when I met him and what it would be like, the feelings of it etc. I'm not that stupid I mean he is a Sagittarius. Nothing about Future and told him that I wasn't sure if it was true or not, or what was going to happen between us, I just knew that the report was pretty accurate and thought he should know about it, I said I just know we were suppose to meet for some reason and I don't know what it is. Even left in parts that said it could be a very slow relationship in the beginning and might now be all good, could be painful, due to caution and fear on both of our parts. I also left in that i would be very impatient for the relationship to go somewhere and could push him away if I did this. I am a very precise person and leave nothing left unsaid, I speak very directly Mercury conjunct Jupiter 12 degrees Libra with Uruanus at 4 degrees Libra. Also have a Grand Earth Trine with Venus Virgo, Mars Capricorn and Saturn in Taurus. So I'm pretty grounded but can possibly come on strong.

It's kinda fun,like looking at peoples charts,finding out what makes them tick...the scary part it is,it's pretty accurate...

Men are cute. Hehe.

An example of how I got an astrology conversation going with a guy was asking when his birthday was (he happened to be a Libra). Then I would guess his sign and ask if the stuff he heard about it was true for him. Little questions. Then I'd say, "Oh, there is so much about it that I don't know." (Which is true). This motivated him to go to Astro.com (web site was my suggestion) to type in our birthdates and read out loud our free reports.

Then he started giving feedback, sentence by sentence. LOL

So it depends on the man. I prefer to tip toe a little bit to get a sense of how he feels, then introduce little lures and see where he takes it. It's fun.
