OMG yikes I just read the end of that post

"But Amen to the not a Cap thing. Definitely not a Cap. *Walks away mumbling incomprehensibly about how Jesus was not dirty enough to be a Capricorn* God bless "

How could anyone follow that sentence with "God Bless".. That seriously baffles me.. Is this person mentally impaired? or should I say emotionally impaired? or maybe both

I really *should* stay out of this thread.

I used to have this weird idea when I was a kid, that Jesus was a capricorn, that means I'm special too, truth is I was a kid and completely stupid . It really doesn't make me great (and kind of stupid of me but well mistakes happen, I've learnt now), anyways I honestly think Jesus was a mixture of all the good qualities of each sun sign, you need all of them, you know!.. and his 12 disciples must have been the 12 zodiac signs, because I don't really think you can classify jesus as only pisces or leo or a virgin or cancer or dirty capricorn (Hey we're not that dirty!!!) he is mortal but he is worshipped throughout the world, I think I see all the elements in him, I mean thats what makes him great, a truly balanced person .
But I'm not saying I'm right, Its just my point of view, feel free to disagree with me. Noone is actually right OR wrong cause we really don't know .
And I can guarentee you that I'm not reallly dirty.
K I'm off now
Peace out!

Your cool too, very outspoken, and I really envy that quality of yours, Its a fabulous thing, saying what you feel and everything, I don't know many girls who are outspoken so its really cool.

I have 3 different opinions on this

1) theres 13 signs, the 13th is Ophiucus, which happens to be a shepherd, go look it up...
2) he was born on the winter solstice Dec. 21st, shortest day of the year, you know to light our darkest hour and stuff
3) he was a pisces because pisces are the most self sacrificing, like burning in hell for the rest of us to have piece of mind and stuff

I don't think you can tell what he by sun sign alone - sun signs are so deceptive. But, it IS fun to speculate!

I say Pisces sun, because of all the self sacrifice. Definately a hevy neptune influence with all the spiritualism.

Some aqua somewhere, because let's face it, the man was a rebel and couldn't give a damn what people said about him. He was revolutionary and changed a lot, which suggests a strong uranian aspect or planet, at the very least.

Could be a highly evolved scorpio. He was magnetic and powerful, so definately pluto aspects or planet.

I'd have to say something in fire too, although which planet I'm not sure.

If I had to guess Jesus' sign it would be between an Aquarius or Pisces (leaning toward Pisces, actually I fell on the Pisces side) Only b/c he befreinded Marymagdaline the prostitute (Not saying that any other sign wouldn't) but Pisceans LOVEEEEEEEEEE to help the helpless.

I actually read a lot of stuff that says Jesus was a Pisces and the star of bethlehem was a Venus/Jupiter conjunction for some reason that made it that visible. I dont know how accurate this is and I read this way before I was into astrology so i dont know. Some claim he was a Pisces Aries rising Sagittarius. Seems sensible to me

I had bought a book of him three months ago. It was about Cabalistic Astrology. While my eyes were scanning through famous people born under the sign of aries, i fell on Jesus' name, not only him, also two other prophet; Moses, Muhammed. I thought Jesus was a Capricorn. There is an explanation about this in the book and it says;
'... eventough the christmas is celebrated on 24th of December, Jesus was not a Capricorn. Christmas had been started around fourth century. His birthday had been changed from 1st of April to winter equinox to illuminate him with other messiah gods of ancient world like Apollo, Mithras...' so is he aries?

This is an interesting discussion, even though it is bottomless!!! Still, to put in my .02, if I had to guess I'd say Jesus was a Sag ascendant (philosophical "voice"), Pisces sun (selfless martyr), and an Aqua moon (true humanitarian). Just my theory...

Some would believe that Jesus' birthday is actually April 17th, which would make him an Aries. The reason was the occurence of the Start of Bethlehem. That would also explain his leadership abilities...

Please see these sites: http://www.eclipse.net/~molnar/ http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo/2289354200057808112GVqKoa

quote:

Jupiter was the regal "star" that conferred kingships - a power that was amplified when Jupiter was in close conjunctions with the Moon. The second occultation on April 17 coincided precisely when Jupiter was "in the east," a condition mentioned twice in the biblical account about the Star of Bethlehem. In August of that year Jupiter became stationary and then "went before" through Aries where it became stationary again on December 19, 6 BC. This is when the regal planet "stood over." - a secondary royal portent also described in the Bible. In particular, there is confirmation from a Roman astrologer that the conditions of April 17, 6 BC were believed to herald the birth of a divine, immortal, and omnipotent person born under the sign of the Jews, which we now know was Aries the Ram. Furthermore, the coins of Antioch and ancient astrological documents show that there was indeed a Star of Bethlehem as reported in the biblical account of Matthew.

here's more...
http://www.utopia-net.org/English/0417jesus1.html

quote:
Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, Israel around 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 6 B.C. with the influence of the Mercury & Mars on the Taurus, the Sun, Jupiter & Moon on the Aries (Ram), and the Saturn, Venus & Uranus on the Pisces. The Jupiter means Zeus of the Greek Mythology and the King. Also the Aries (Ram) means Israel and a sacrifice. The eclipse of the Jupiter means that Jesus Christ would be killed by the others in the future. In addition, he was the King of the planets on the solar system. AB blood type. Since the parents of Jesus carried the albino gene, Jesus had blond hair, pale blue eyes, and white skin.

He must have Aqua in there somewhere, and he did have a temper, remember when he was a kid and got angry at all the money lenders in the temple ( if we're siting the bible as a source) and an aqua is more likely to want to save the world than a single person whom they love. ASpects would matter however.

Totally agree with you crankycap! he had to have some sag and pisces in him. and probably some aquarius too!

Wht's the big deal about Jesus's sign anyways?

people please keep your peace and *try to* refrain from making statements tht might hurt others. (i knw thts easier said than done, tht is why i put in the 'try' clause) or if u already have, atleast let others voice their resentment. i mean u knew whn u called cappy's dirty tht some feathers wud get ruffled, didn't ya? so just take it in your stride....

Jesus was all about love, so lets just show some deference to that on a thread about him

what sign could you think someone to be who 1)spoke in a sarcastic way and with a dry sense of humor, 2)wasn't very sure of himself, 3)didn't distrust anyone 4)was observant and not afraid of authority?

i have to think some more on this - i've noticed quite a few places are really getting into Jesus debates lately. it's really incredible.

Slayer i actually read the same thing that Moses was an Aries though i saw somewhere that Muhammed was a Leo...of course im the idiot who got my equally insane best friend to try to trace Muhammed's birthday using the Lunar calendar (its celebrated as a holiday but it moves about 10-12 every year) so we were trying to count it till 570 AD. Oddly enough it came around April-May so we thought maybe Taurus but possibly Aries since u saw it somewhere. I dont know he seems more of a Leo to me.

William: LOL Jesus a Gemini that would be something. They arent big on self sacrafice and would probably choose to talk themselves out of a conviction . That would be certainly interesting though. I read somewhere Buddha was a Gemini.

I still think Jesus was a pisces. Besides his personality traits, all the symbolism (with the fish and all) seems to suggest so too.

And based on what I studied about Muhammad in my World Religions course (Senior year in highschool)....I kinda get the Neptune vibe from him too..with a touch of Jupiter.

Hmmm Moses, that one is interesting. He musta had soem fire in him, not sure.

Oh, and LMAO @ Jacqueline's post...mad funny

I heard similar to what others have said about the aries sun of bethlehem thing.

Actually, according to the documentary I saw, the prophets had been waiting for ALL the planets to align in Aries for ages, and when it finally occured they went out looking for a birth, and there he was - baby jesus!

So he was an aries in every sign, if you believe this theory.

It makes sense to me, because according to abook i read, jesus was basically sticking it to the establishment, who said that educated people, who could read and understand the scriptures, must not associate with the 'untouchables,' who could not.

Apparently these 'untouchable's' afflictions were basically psychosomatic, due to being outcast; the 'healing' jesus practised was basically being friends with them, or more namely eating dinner with them, which was totally forbidden - once jesus ate with them and reassured them that they were not scum, their 'aflictions' would 'magically' dissapear, as documented in the bible.

So, Jesus was basically a real socialite who partied everynight and invited all the 'homeless' people around, and even told his parents where to go when they told him that it was unseemly that a person of his class should associate with such people!

Sounds like a full on aries to me!!
