My TWin has her Moon at the last degrees of her 8th house: her Moon is at 22º20´Taurus and her 9th starts at 22º22´- so do I look at her Moon as being in the 8th?Or 9th? And is if it´s in her 8th,shows that somehow her emotions ares somehow dark??

You know, Diandra, I'm kind of confused about that too. I have several planets that fall toward the edge. My Venus, Mercury, and Neptune are all ambiguous that way, so I've thought they must possess characteristics of both houses and have dual meanings. IP: Logged |

I have been told that my sun, which is Aries, is in my eighth house. What does that mean? IP: Logged |

Since we are talking about the 8th house, how would you be impacted if you had several planets in the 8th house (sun, merc, uranus) and then someone's sun, merc, and uranus fell in your 8th house?

I have SUN, MARS (both Cancer) and MERCURY (Leo) in 8th, which is supposed to be "Scorpio's house". My AC is in Scorpio, and Pluto (ruler of Scorpio) is prominently placed in my 10th.For me, all this - especially the 8th house-placements - adds up to a strong "scorpionic" influence on my chart. I'm in my thirties now - and never had any severe "death"-experience, despite all that 8th house energy. So: Don't worry! I guess, this is just a very oldfashioned/fairy-tale-like simplifciation of 8th-house-matters. BUT: The matters of regeneration & starting all over again are indeed very very prominent in my life. Never stagnant, always evolving, never satisfied with the "status quo" - that can be draining and can border to "self-torture" in extreme situations - but more often I experience this as a certain amount of courage and personal depth. I really want to know what's at stake, always. Not satisfied with superficial matters, quickly bored then. Deep inside, I feel quite self-confident. I believe what my "inner voice" tells me. I feel "spiritual" in a way ... but I like to keep this in the background. And I guess: There's a streak of "loneliness" bound to the 8th house. It makes you a "loner" a bit - but, honestly: I don't mind. I recognized my "loner"-like tendencies and learned to accept and even enjoy them. I draw strength from being alone, very often. Sometimes it's quite an egocentric "me, myself and I"-feeling. ;-) IP: Logged |

well this thread is a great!hello to all fellow 8th housers! I have a 8th house stellium Sun,Merc,North Node, Vertex, and barely making it out of there jupiter and juno..so cusping off the 8th house well alot of what was said is true I do get more attracted to the more darker aspects of life.....but it doesn't mean anything bad ..actually I'm quite friendly and love making people laugh and I am sometimes intense or seem intense but it's not a bad thing.. so I wouldn't worry so much but it does mean a person does have alot of work to do......to be transformed, rebirthed like soul tranformation or spiritual tranformation the occult, death, sex, money do occupy alot of my thoughts IP: Logged |

I've got a stellium that starts in the 7th house and flows into the 8th. My 8th house contains Venus, Jupiter, & Neptune(and Vesta if you want to get all asteroidy). I identify with many of the sentiments in this thread! 8th housers are all about full-out transcendence, and most of the world is scared of anything more than streaking their hair a different color. Mama Mia, I was in drama and theatre. It was a very positive way to focus energy and emotion, and it sounds like a wonderful venture for your son. If you are concerned, you could post his full chart so we could perhaps place his 8th house energies within it... I can tell you that my Jupiter and Venus here have especially been blessings. Here are a few people with busy 8th Houses: Maya Angelou - Mercury, Venus, Uranus Monica Belluci - Sun, Mercury, Uranus, Pluto Coco Chanel - Sun, Mercury, Venus, Uranus Deepak Chopra - Sun, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Chiron Sean Connery - Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Neptune Matt Damon - Sun, Mercury, Mars, Uranus, Pluto Catherine Deneuve - Venus, Neptune, Chiron F. Scott Fitzgerald - Sun, Mercury, Venus, Chiron Galileo - Sun, Mercury, Venus, Pluto, Chiron John F. Kennedy - Sun, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter Sophia Loren - Venus, Mars, Neptune Shirley Manson - Sun, Pluto, Uranus Marcello Mastroianni - Mercury, Venus, Neptune, North Node Demi Moore - Sun, Mercury, Venus, Neptune Baruch Spinoza - Sun, Mercury, Saturn James Van Praagh - Sun, Mercury, Venus, Uranus, Pluto IP: Logged | |
