I'm not sure of my Rising sign. According to my mom, I was born at noon 12:00pm. That will make my Rising Aqua at 26 degrees. However I am (always been) strongly attracted to Pisces. Both genders. I feel like they are the only ones with who(m?) I can be myself. I believe the world is a better place because of all of their wisdom, patience, care, kindness and compassion. One Fish at a time.
I used to believe I got along great with Aquas. Lately though, after recounting all of the bad experiences I've had with them, I'm not so sure anymore.
One day I strongly believe I'm a Pisces Rising, another - Aqua Rising.
Help, please!

Yin,

You also have Sun (self-expression) conjunct (energy is combined with) Neptune (spirituality, also confusion). Since Neptune rules Pisces, you strongly identify with Piscean energy. It is common for people with strong Piscean energy to be confused, because Neptune creates spirituality by breaking down the barriers between ourselves and others. This results in people who have strong Piscean energy identifying with or even, to some extent, becoming their surroundings. This can be VERY confusing. As a result, people with strong Piscean energy may have places where they can "retreat" from the world and just be themselves for awhile!

Pisceanly,

Tim

My girlfriend is a Pisces with Moon in Pisces AND Neptune in one... She lives in confusion...

(Luckily she's got a couple of planets in Aries and Sag ascendant, that gives her some fire and desire to act...)

Out of confusion comes order...

Yin, I agree with Tim, if Neptune is aspecting (especially conjunction and/or opposition) powerful planets, luminaries, (Sun, Moon) hence creating Piscean energy, it is perfectly normal to feel/act like and be attracted to Pisces.

Plus, if you Asc. is 26 AQUA, it makes Pisces inclusive of your first house, anyone with a Pisces Sun will have a powerful effect on you, it is the house of the self/ego. You identify with Pisces.

Confusion, thy name is Neptune!

Remember pisces is ruled by neptune AND jupiter, I think the reason the ancients decided this was because of the broadedminded/religious focus and the generosity of the two signs. They have a lot in common and often draw eachother. Pisces alwasy have been and alwasy will be some of the most important people in my life.

Blue,

Your points about the interconnection of energy between Jupiter and Neptune make a lot of sense. However, your time line for Neptune's discovery is a little off! Neptune was discovered on September 23, 1846. The "ancients" only used Jupiter, not Neptune, in their astrological calculations.

Historically,

Tim

Wow, thank you for all your replies, guys. It all makes a lot of sense. I don't want to comment on any of them yet, because I'm afraid I might influence some of the future responses.

BR, I have a picture in my profile.

Hey, hey Yin we have the same birthday! Mine is a year after yours, though. I sort of have the same problem. My rising changes depending on the house system. On some its Sag, with Venus in the 11th and on others its Cap with Venus in the 10. Even on the ones where its Sag, its just barely Sag at 28 or 29*. lol I guess I'm an ArcherGoat.

To answer you question I can say that even if your ASC is in Aqua you still have prominent Piscean qualities because your 1st house is mostly in Pisces;
Moreover your progressed ASC (by solar arc progressions method; this method is also known as moving all planets and angles by 1 degree for each year of life) moved into Pisces when you were just 4! (if the time of birth is correct)

I thought you might find this also interesting

P.S. To me your posts seem more Aquarian than Piscean btw.

Tim - yes! on the places of retreat. I definatelly take ages to relax and feel myself around people. If I get into the sociability mode, which hasn't happened too much recently, I then need days to recoup and bring myself back.

Neptune's Muse - you bet Pisces have a powerful effect on me. I'm even married to one!

Amen!

Planet_Soul, that's awesome, you want to share tips and tricks Seriously - are you going to be a teacher? I have been long thinking about that profession myself.

Peri, I greatly appreciate your reply. Not just because is spot on and full of useful information but also because 2 days ago you told me I was being rude and yet still posted on my thread and helped me out.
Thank you!

Yin,

We all have our moods and make mistakes and sometimes just don’t think what we are saying and in what manner we are saying this.

If I think someone is being rude to me or someone else I always point this out but I don’t take it personally and don’t hold a grudge against this person because very often people say things that may seem hurtful to others only because they 'are not thinking what they are saying' and not because they want to hurt someone intentionally.

N did not get upset, did he? So it's nothing at all serious then.

Hey Peri, I don't think I was rude - just honest - and sometimes Saggies need some in-their-face words/attitude to wake up.
Archer is a bud.
I'ts all behind us now anyway.

Hey Yin,

As a Saggie, I have so many interests-its hard for me to narrow it down to oen major. I love poking my nose in everything I've got the list down to fashion buyer, counseling, and teaching. I already work in both retail and at an Elementary School. I'm going to take the prerequiste to education course next semester to narrow things down even more. I love kids so much, but I'm also a fashionista
