Topic: Venus/Mars Aspects!!

ok, so I guess that website says that 6 degrees is the allowable orb for squares. but what I'm wandering is if you can still 'feel' certain aspects between two people, maybe even if they are out of orb? certainly you can say this of interaspects between the Sun and Moon right? for ex: there is an obvious relationship and energy between the Sun in Scorpio and the Sun/Moon in Taurus, even if they do not make an actual aspect. so what about Mars-Venus, since they are also inner planets? lol I hope I didn't confuse anyone  IP: Logged |

i have a similar question.
my and by haveme: venus 22 gemini
mars 19 pisces him: venus 6 virgo
mars 7 cancer- it does not show us to have as aspect
but wouldn't we have venus opposite mars
by sign? wouldn't that be felt somewhere? IP: Logged |

Clockworkrose - it is not true that the trine is not indicator of sexual attraction. It is (any aspect between Venus and Mars is!, but the attraction is probably more fluid, easy, natural feeling, then the friction of harder aspects. They actually say that people who have a trine aspect between their Venus and Mars are the most sexually compatible.
Because, sometimes with squares and oppositions, the chemistry is strong at the beginning, but later it may be a bit irregular, or there may be some other incompatibility, such as uneven sex drives, wrong timings (one person wants sex, another doesn't, different views on sex, etc). Not always, but it happens. But with the trine, it is said that the attraction is more steady and reliable, that people are more in tune, read: they are sexually compatible, if you get what I mean. As for the orbs - one famous astrologer, Liz Greene said :"if it feels like it is in orb, than it is in orb".
This especially in view that everyone differs about the orbs allowed, there is no general consensus at all.
I personally think that aspects between certain planets in synastry, like Sun/Moon, Venus/Mars, Moon/Mars, Sun/Venus etc. will definitely be felt even when several degrees out of "allowed" orb.

I agree with that Selena on squares/opps. of mars-venus perhaps burning out or becoming problematic (if just isolating this aspect). I looked back at my ex-husband and that synastry, thinking we had no mars-venus contacts, but my venus squared his mars (cap-aries). There was that initial attraction, in part fueled by the bars and drinking, but we definitely became incompatible sexually after a couple years. In fact, sex ended up being about 1/4 the cause of our marriage's demise. IP: Logged |

Woman's Venus trine to the man's Mars is one of the best synastry aspects one can have. As a Sagittarius Venus, I have always been insanely attracted to Aries Mars men and Leo Mars men. IP: Logged |

My experience.
It always depend on natal chart no matter how good Synastry Composite etc.
I don't attracted to much(vice versa) because I have Venus Trine Mars. But there is Exalted Saturn Conjunct Mars in my 5th too. Note that I'm no Gay.
I have my Venus Opposite Mars with someone. Our tastes, style, timing etc everything is totally different. So far it failed to work...------------------

The two relationships where I experienced extremely strong sexual attraction had no Venus-Mars aspect. Instead, we had Mars trine Mars and Venus sextile Venus. The one relationship where even though we had Venus trine Mars DW felt so mild in comparison. When I checked my synastry with other guys I realised that Venus-Mars aspect does nothing for me in terms of sexual attraction, but when I've Mars-Mars aspect with them, I'll find them sexually attractive.

Did you have any Pluto aspects to personal planets with them?

The harsher aspects are felt strongly but also lose their nicer affect quicker while trines and sextiles keep that flow continuously. IP: Logged |
