1scorp, nannyfish ~I cannot lie to a direct question even if what I am going to say will hurt the person. If a person asks me a direct question... well, I assume they want a true answer. I understand this, since I have Merc in Scorp. Beware asking my opinion, as I will give you an honest opinion. The Libra in me cringes at this lack of diplomacy sometimes, but I appreciate the value of calling a spade a spade. If I ask YOUR opinion, I want an honest opinion, not some bunch of fluffy sweetness, dancing around the truth. If what you say hurts me, well, I asked for it. Now, I’m not talking about being denigrated, I’m talking about opinions, such as in nannyfish’s “painting” example above. What if a person asks you something sort of knowing the truth, but not really expecting you to tell them the truth? But is it our job to live up to other people’s expectations?? How are you going to read everyone’s minds and decide that they don’t want to hear the truth?? ‘Zala IP: Logged |

HaHa, Lioneye and Pidaua... when I read Pid's post I thought instantly of my Virgo honey.Dead give-away, eh?! For a sag, I'm a fantastic liar... except when it counts. When it matters, I bumble like an idot and turn thirty shades of red. And I never blush. Oh, but when I'm only having fun...!!! I love to mess with my friends about really stupid things. It's not lying! It's acting! IP: Logged | |
