My husband and I have this in virgo. Check out the decans for more insight too. You may be two different "types" of that ascendant. For example, I'm a 3rd Decan Virgo Asc which is Venus ruled. Hubs is a 1st Decan Virgo Asc which is Mercury ruled (although the ruler ships for decans vary depending on who you ask). So although we don't have a conjunction, we do share the same house rulerships. So the energy that influences particular areas of life is similar. There is a lot of comfort in that. We were sort of brought up the same way. Our direction & mode of operating is very much the same. We also dress alike without even trying. We get annoyed by the same people, for example he never really likes someone that I don't, we generally like and dislike the same kind of people.We did both have an immediate attraction to each other, but I think that's the Venus/Mars conjunction & his Sun sits at my Sun/Moon midpoint exactly. His venus sits on my anti-vertex too. Now I should mention, I had this with a girl that I wound up HATING. At first, we liked each other because we were meeting each other's Ascendants. We even talked about how similar we were. Our life history mirrored each other's. Then our planetary positions came out & it was yucky. She is VASTLY different from that Ascendant.
