It doesn't work for me.

My daughter: Aqua sun/Sag. moon/Cancer asc.
She does have a lot of 7th and 8th house influence though.

actually it does 1scorp (not in exactly the same way but it still applys)
her 7th and 8th house planets coorespond to your libra (7) and scorpio (8) planets.

Hi, Everyone,
I'm new on the site. I became a Linda Goodman fan many moons ago...won't divulge my age yet. Anyway, I have rediscovered her, by rereading Star Signs and I am so thrilled to find this site and see that her child-like spirit and magic are still inspiring the next generation of immortals and elves. To respond to this posting, I am a Libra, my son an Aries, the opposite sign. It's not always the Sun on Asc that carries the legacy, but also house placements, common elements and ruling planets. My son has a Gemini Moon, my moon & Asc are in Virgo (Mercury). My mother is a Pisces, my son and I both have strong 12th house placements (Pisces ruled) and a preponderance of water in our charts. If the parent and child share a bond of Asc and Sun conjunction, that is a gift, yet I don't believe it is necessarily common. Peace...

I'm an Aries Sun and Gem riser at 19 degrees, My daughter has sun at 20 gemini, saturn at 18 Gemini, North node at 19 Gemini. her venus in cancer is at 27 and my moon in cancer is at 24. She is a Leo rising with uranus conj the desc - While I'm a 2nd decan Aries Sun opposite uranus in Libra. How funky is that.

My father is a Gemini sun at 23 degrees.

My grandfather was aqua sun, aries moon, and possibly an aries rising.

My mum is Aqua sun, Libra moon, Cancer asc.

My big sister is Libra sun, Cap moon, Aries asc.

I am Aqua Sun, Libra Moon, Virgo asc, (mars and jupiter conj, asc.)

My younger sister is a Virgo Sun, Libra Moon and Libra Asc.

Looking at the natal charts, Mars has usually an important role in the charts ( my mum has mars in aries, mars is one of my co-chart rulers, my younger sister has mars and venus conj. in leo.

I unfortunately do not have my dad's details, past his Sun Sign. hes a Sag.

My daughter and I have the same Ascendant in Leo, I am Sagittairus Sun and Libra Moon, she is Gemini Sun and Sagittarius Moon. I guess, in a way we are like a mirror image of each other.

It's not quite true for me either. My oldest child, my son, is actually the opposite of my ascendant. He has his sun in cappy and my ascendant (and moon) is cancer.
However my sun is the same as his moon - scorpio.
My other child, my daughter, is quite different to me. Our only 'links' are that she has a leo moon which goes nicely with my full fifth house and lots of water planets like me.

As for my own mother, I don't know her ascendant but we both have moon in cancer and her taurus sun is opposite my scorpio sun.

I have no idea what either of my parent's rising signs are, BUT.. I'm a Sag rising, and my dad was a Sag sun (he passed away 9 years ago.)

Dad: Sagittarius sun, Leo or cancer moon- I'm not really sure, Scorpio mercury, Scorpio venus, Libra mars.

Mom: Capricorn sun & mercury, Capricorn or aquarius moon- I'm not sure again, Scorpio venus, Pisces mars.

Sister: Leo sun, Aries moon, Virgo mercury, Libra venus, Virgo mars, Gemini rising.

Me: Virgo sun & mercury, Scorpio moon, Scorpio venus, Capricorn mars, Sagittarius rising

Hmm..nope. I am the oldest child and my sun is Capricorn, Scorpio rising..my mom's ASC and sun are Cancer. My sister is a Cap sun Cap rising and my brother is a Scorpio sun Virgo rising. Dad is Aries sun, Aquarius rising. The only thing I've noticed that is weird about our family is...

My brother, sister, and I all have fire moons (two Sag, one Leo) and we all have Venus in the 1st house.

Hmmmm, that's interesting lala. My son's Saturn is at 29 Pisces, mine is 29 Libra. His Saturn is 10 degrees from his Aries Sun, mine is 3 degrees. I've Saturn exactly sextile Asc, his Saturn makes no aspects to the Leo Asc we share, nor to his Leo Moon.....

I'm my mother's eldest child -- she and my son both have Lion Moons. Mom and I both have Moon opp Venus, but few other similarities/contacts.....

Aside from sharing Saturn in Libra, my dad and I have few other similarities. Interestingly he had a Sun/Moon conjunction (Sag), and two of my long-term partners also had the same aspect (Leo and Cappy), 4 degrees or less.....

My mum's saturn is 29 deg saturn rx, mine is cancer 29 deg rx. My mum has unaspected venus in libra, I have unaspected venus in sag. My mum as jupiter conj mars. I have mars sextile jupiter. And so on...

My son's chart is a mirror of mine in several ways.

His Libra Sun/Merc exactly opposes my Aries Sun/Merc. His Pisces Asc opposite my Virgo Asc (4 deg orb). His 27 Leo Venus opposes my 2 deg Pisces Venus, conjunct each other's Asc. We do share a Cancer Moon though.

My mum and me are very much alike, however; we share the same venus sextile mars in libra-sag, also sun and venus in the 9th.

My dad though, is a Sag rising at 27 degrees, the same degrees as my ASC
