Have you had four husbands, each one more socially high-ranking than the one before? Nope. I have one husband, he is a great person. Everyone can have troubles in the loving department as time goes on, but it has nothing to do with social rank, just happiness in the world.

Do you believe the ends justify the means? Sometimes.. but my personal pride and empathy for others prevents me from hurling the same things that might have been hurled at me.

Have you been heard to say "I don't get mad; I get even?" I think in my youth I have had those thoughts, but no, I have never acted on it.. I have a personal moral system. I am suspicious of motives for sure, and cautious, but not for reasons of sadism, more fear, insecurities, as anyone else. Nothing hidden there.

Never. I have had a recent disappointment in terms of power struggles at work. My response was to talk about it, share feelings and thoughts and meet with understanding. The way to better the situation is to better myself, and if the ends are not met, I have no problem .. the revenge would be removing myself from the situation and showing them , with my absence, what exactly they are missing when I am off to greener pastures, through bettering myself.. a lesson learned..

If not it doesn't really matter. Even if it's not how you are, it's how he will end up seeing you. It's probably some issue you're overlooking. Or it just hasn't happened yet.

This statement is highly strange. I don't believe you have the power of predicting the way my son sees me. Nor if some event will happen in the future, based upon negative, unrealistic qualities that might have ruled a less knowledgeable person. The reason one studies astrology is to in a sense oversome supposed negative characteristics. If I feel Scorpionic rage or what have you coming on, I can retreat from conflict like an adult. I can actively listen, I can be honest. I can apologize.
I don't think Scorpios overlook much, especially in terms of themselves.. Scorpios are quite hard on themselves, and honest.
My two cents.
If we want a realistic view of Scorpio, be it Sun or Moon or mercury.... you can't rely only on the negative things that people are capable of. The positive in most cases, overrule the negative.
People go through harsh times, especially in family situations. They all get over it. Whether it is inside or together.

I'm a bit late in this thread (ohhh I'm such a thread crasher!!) but like pixelpixie I had to respond to the above quotes.

My son has moon in scorpio. I have a wonderful, empathetic and special relationship with him. I am a scorpio sun so we are very in tune.

Erm, I've had one husband (still with him.) And he was a dirt-poor student when we got married. I'm careful with money (cancer moon) but extremely generous with it (full fifth house.) I've never said 'Don't get mad, get even,' I just get mad - period!!

If my scorpio moon son has an issue with me in the future I will respond with patience, talking and forgiveness. He's a very enlightened scopio moon though so I think we will always be so compatable.

Im somewhere in the middle.

I respect her, but being around her makes me aloof and anxious at once.

I feel like she is very aggressive and tries to overshadow me (being a Leo sun, shes always putting on my makeup and dressing in clothes like mine, altho shes my MOM).

She always has to butt into my love life to advise even when I dont want the advice.

And she always has to bring back that 'I raised you and provided you everything', so that now I want to pay her back in installments if it takes me a while even. I recognize her greatness but I am so tired of it and I am tired of paying homage to it.

Plus she is always nicer to the obedient child (my sis) and considers me (assertive for my rights) to be rude and inconsiderate. And when my brother is rude and inconsiderate, thats okay, because hes the son.

She has committed no great evil and is a WONDERFUL mom. She has made mistakes like any human, but she does not have a screwed up mentality. The point is, like Leyla said, Im not willing to accept her as human like myself. I harbor resentment against mom (scorp moon) and against siblings (gemini stellium) Gems always have probs with siblings....and on the surface I must be the excellent family member while inside I dont have an emotional connect with anyone in my family.

The way Scorp moons see their moms dont have to do with their moms , it has to do with them, and the emotional connect with the mother. The truth is that it is just a harsh placement to have and it does impact ones view of their mother. I imagine if the sun-moon aspect were good for a scorp moon this affect might be lessened (I have a hard time believing that a Cancer sun scorp mooner would be as resentful of their mother). But for someone with difficult aspects (like a Leo/Scorp or maybe an Aqua / Scorp, or even me--Gem/Scorp, theres no good aspect going on there), the affect is magnified.

mercury rules thinking;so in mercury scorpio i can say i am very CURIOUS..i always ask questions in my work;home;with friends...and scorpio mercury in 11 th house makes me ABSENTMÝNDED...

All i can say this :curious,absentminded..but bitchy or witchy not
