My Mars in Cancer makes me feel bad about getting angry. I can't bring myself to shout and yell at people when I'm mad, even when I want to. I'm always thinking "but it'll hurt their feelings...". I'm such a soft muppet! I tend to contain anger within and it kind of just bubbles away inside me. When I'm caught in a confrontation with someone else (ie. they're mad at me) I just go into "subdued/crossed-arms/I'm not going to talk to you" mode and go sulk somewhere. One day I might grow up to be big and brave but I doubt it IP: Logged |

Mars in scorpio is a train. God forbid you get in its way. When I have a goal, nothing stops me.Lol I remember this one virgo/scorpio friend of mine in high school. He had a bucket chart and the handle was a tight conjunction between his mars and jupiter in aries. I was in a program (IB) where most of the work we did was just in preparation for the final exam, which is what counted. When it was time to send off the university applications, he got very poor predicted grades because according to the teachers, "he wasn't doing anything". But lo and behold when the exams came back, he ended up in the top 5%, I mean, he just blew all his classmates away with his grades and got late acceptance into all universities he applied to. Turns out he was doing work all along, just not what was assigned to him, because it was "pointless and redundant". I'm glad his independent attitude rubbed off on me. IP: Logged |

I have mars in aries and I think that was very accurate. But because it's in the 3rd it makes my speech agressive...don't get into a debate with me . I'm also a maniac on the road like all 3rd house Mars.IP: Logged |

Hi everyone,Just to say that with my Mars in Libra, if I get angry when someone says something to me, my reaction is I build it up inside and then I react with some harsh words sometimes. Then afterwards, I so regret it. Being an Aries, I tend to leap before I think. GREAT REPLIES EVERYONE. IP: Logged |

Libra Mars Cancer SunOh the guilt that came after the nerve racking decision I would finally make that what happened WAS upsetting to me. 'Pulling your own strings' Dr Wayne Dyer. I highly recommend it. Unless of course you enjoy a daily dose of guilt with your vitamins. I didn't. IP: Logged |

I think the descriptions are quite interesting.. my only complaint.. well one of my complaints about astrology, is how we can so easily label ONE function of a planet in a sign. By that I mean we look at Mars in a specific sign and say "this person is always angry and looking for a fight" well, say that person has Sun in Pisces? I would say that is absolutely NOT true.. Then again, maybe Mars in Aries can bring a Cancer out of his / her shell. Personally, I have Mars in Pisces at 1 degree (LOL). I am not afraid of confrontation, nor do I have a weak physical constitution. I also have Pluto conjunct Ascendant (ability to rise from the dead pretty much) Sun / Venus in Sag with my Moon in Aries. I would say that Mars in Pisces is my only passive planet - but it does color my personality. I CAN (and do) pick up on other's emotions, need to have tons of music / pretty art around me..etc... I think that placement also evens out my temperment, maybe keeping me from rushing into a complete battle without reading the field first LOL.. So.. like with anything, it is always good to take it with a grain of salt IP: Logged |

I agree.Just looking at these I can see where people of the same Mars in ______ sign are emphasizing just the bits they see in themselves, or perhaps reading it from a different point of reference. Plus, I'm sure there are modifications to how you might act due to the rest of your chart. IP: Logged |

My mars is in cancer, and the whole part about stomach aches(I mean serious stomach aches all the time) is true. I don't know any other mars in cancers, I do know tons of mars in taurus people. I know when I get angry, which I usually am for some reason, or even when I get a bit depressed or nervous, my stomach will hurt so badly that I won't be able to leave my house. I can't even think of going to do something, for days I'll be thinking about it and by the time the day comes I'll be sick. I have to do things right when the thought comes to me. Do you other mars in cancer people have the stomach problems too and if you do how do you get rid of them?IP: Logged |

Pid ~I looooooovvve your take on our Pluto conj Asc positions (ability to rise from the dead pretty much) Seriously tho, that hits the nail on the head. I've pretty much managed to bounce back from every awful thing that's happened in my life with my smile intact {{ love & hugs }} 'Z IP: Logged |

Hiya MercuryBird I don't really get stomach problems. I have a pretty tough consitution really - physically at least - but I suffer greatly with nerves, anxiety and long-term depression (I have several placements in my chart that exacerbate this so I can't just point the finger at Mars). Bearing in mind your screen-name, do you have any Gemini placements? Gemini rules the nerves. Touch IP: Logged |

I mars in Aries.. ohoh . Look out.! lol. I can have quite the temper. But when im mad / angry or really upset it usually flares up out of control like a fire but burns it self out quickly. I(people with Mars in fire signs) i think need to get there energy out /outlets of the athletic kind usually help. Walking, biking, boxing,etc... Does anyone else have Their Sun squared Mars?? Its really challenging and difficult to control anger sometimes and not say something you dont mean out of anger... hmmmm? . .. any comments?? IP: Logged |

Touchstone My sun is in Gemini and so is my Venus. I have Mercury and Mars in cancer. I know gemini rules the nerves but the reason I brought up the stomach things being related to Mars in Cancer is because thats what it said in that part that person wrote about it.. and no one else mentioned it.IP: Logged |

As I have a Gemini rising, plus Mars in Libra,I tend to make myself sick with worry. I wish sometimes I did not have Gemini rising, because my mind is racing half the time, thinking what to do if an argument starts and my mind is all over the place. IP: Logged |

Mercury,You said: quote: ...the whole part about stomach aches(I mean serious stomach aches all the time)...
I think this is more likely Virgo than Cancer (see more about astrological body rulerships in middle of this page: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/008356-2.html Linking, Tim IP: Logged |

Ariespink, I have Mars in Leo and I have at least four good friends with Mars in Leo as well. Generosity is THE theme with this placement. Generous to our detriment. We lavish gifts on those we love and on those we feel are "deserving". (Yes, there is something imperious about the whole thing, but we're dealing with Leo here so it's to be expected.) And as far as taking food off of our plates,...I was thinking about that last night and what I really believe is the core of this idiosyncrasy, is that WE GIVE, others DO NOT TAKE. Hope this helps shed some light on things for you. If you have more questions, ask away...this is one of my natal placements that I adore... IP: Logged |

hey ARIESPINK..i CAN FULLY understand the "nervous energy" and influence about "worry" that you get from the Gemini influence as well. I only have Saturn In gemini - Sun in Cancer( i have the "stomach" issues too. So it is also Virgoan and Cancerian i think to have upset stomachs when things are not right or when youre "upset" "nervous" ..angry.. And the more you think / worry about the problems especially before you go to sleep the more youre stomach is upset. I get that too. ..to whoever was asking about the stomach thing. IP: Logged |

LadyMacbeth, Delighted with your information. It is just what I was looking for. Makes a lot of sense. I knew a person with Mars in Leo before and generosity was always there so your reply confirms so much. When you get angry though with someone, i.e. if they offend you, how would you react. Thanks again. tbone, Good to know I am not alone in the nervous stake. With my Gemini Rising, I find it so hard to sit still as I am always thinking ahead. It also explains why I react nervously when I am singing or going for exams. Great reply. IP: Logged |

Ariespink - when someone offends me or when I get angry my temper flares instantly. It's not long lived, but while it's active, it is formidable. A sincere (and humble) apology from the offending party will settle my haunches rather quickly. Hope this helps... IP: Logged |

I have Mars in Gemini and there are things in the description I agree with and things I don't. As for being a formidable thinker, I can agree with that, but I believe in being a doer above all else. My mars squares my Pluto and Uranus which makes my temper VERY bad when I do get fired up. I scare myself. I have Pluto also conjunct the ascendebt, so there are always other factors that can impact your make up. ------------------ Before you speak, ask yourself, is it kind, is it necessary, is it true, does it improve on the silence? -Sai Baba IP: Logged |
