13* Cancer in the 7th

When it comes to relationships, I have been knocked down many, many times. The biggest sorrows in my life so far have been in matters of the heart/soul. This has been my cross and my triumph. When I love I love so fearlessly. I will do the best I am able to work things through. WHen the love is not good for me in some way I am not afraid to let go. I am willing to leave no matter how much I may cry and no mind how much it hurts.

And then you say "firmly of the mind that whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger" - seems like an objective Gemini thought process. What do you think?

Absolutely! Thanks so much for this AJ and how perceptive of you to think of doing this

My Nessus is in Gem in the 10th house. It is also conjunct my sun, mars and venus. I'm a very determined person and for me failure is not an option. I really believe in fighting for this life we all have.

I've had my challenges in this life and I'm sure I will continue to have more. I've had the support of amazing friends and family for which I am very thinkful.

I don't know about being resilient as a mutable sign. It implies a total receptiveness and lack of pro-activeness about life to which I do not subscribe. Maybe it's the conjunction of my Sun/Mars that makes me very aggressive about things. LOL

10th house
Gemini 3 degrees
Hey does there seem like alot of us have Geminii going on?

It depends on how what going on. Lately, I've been knocked down and stayed down. In the past I would pick myself back up by learning something new, hard work, but not until after I balled my eyes out and layed around like a dead slug.

My Nessus is in Virgo in the 7th house.

I don't think I ever get back up again. I've never fully recovered from anything thats hurt me. I don't think its a part of my personality at all, but the way that everyone has made me. When you get knocked down over and over again, you just stay down. Kinda sad, but thats how it is for me.

Hi there.. just figured I'd add in some stats..

My nessus is in Gemini in the 2nd hse. Retro (Nessus trine uranus; sextile mars ; opposite venus)

I reckon I usually get back right up fairly fast when knocked down in love. As in,once i realise he was the wrong one, I dont wanna miss out on anything else though I may be still feeling down. But, yup.. though eager and raring to go, I will be alot more wary, and perhaps less trusting... till I forget the hurt and get right back on risking it all.. all for the sake of love!

And when it comes to matters unrelated to the heart, then well.. nothing can keep me down for long! Life is just too short!

Woo Hoo! Dunno if all that was of any help.

I've thought about this thread for a while now and I have to edit my previous response. I knew that my Nessus is in Geminii 10th houseand I gave a Geminii response. (This should have been a "blind test" asking us how we "come back" without the definition of Nessus.)

How do I really get myself back up after a let down? I stay down for quite some time. Then I nurture myself with hot baths, fragrances, salts, massages, get a new haircut, start a new facial regiment - anything to possible nurture myself and heal my hurt feelings and sore body. It's not very Geminii more like my Cancer sun, mercury, North Node. Even my Pisces chiron seeing inspirational movies. Maybe my leo rising????

Found something on Nessus...

quote:
Chapter 3: Nessus

It's been said that money and sex are only important when you don't have them. Whether or not this is true is up for grabs. But what we can derive from this saying is that two issues of importance to the human spirit are money and sex. In fact, under extreme circumstances, people can be observed demonstrating the best and worst of human characteristics with these issues at hand. Witness the excited glow of a lottery winner. Look hard to see the collapsed aura of a person dealing with insurmountable debt. Examine the fractured aura of a lover rejected for a younger more attractive partner. Consider the radiant glow of someone newly in love. Watch what happens as people discover that they simply cannot live without a certain thing, economic status or the love person in their life. These issues receive impeccable clarification from the Centaur Nessus.

Nessus refers to a level of desire that goes beyond need. Wanting more, coveting or even qualities of lust fall under his influence. Nessus refers to the two juicy areas of life: monetary matters and intimate relationships. He seeks out the things you unconsciously want but might not be able to articulate. He notes those things you feel you do not deserve, yet crave. First, though, he uncovers urges and desires that may not feel comfortable to your "I am a good person," belief system. But he transforms all negatives if given a chance. He works with you to ensure you enjoy the bounty of your relationship with healthy abundance. Nessus observes your financial state in life, then offers his position on what would really make you feel good in an unlimited way. Ultimately, Nessus' balance would be to have enough money not to need more and not so much that it consumes your time and thoughts.

Nessus is a powerful healer. He insists that you open yourself to the realm of sensuality in life. Smell flowers, taste food, feel the air, enjoy touch, savor success and feel everything fully. He provides the ultimate in healing issues of converting poverty to abundance. He brings about the exchange of lust, shame and guilt for healthy physical enjoyment of life, whether explored intimately with another or in one's relationship with the Creator.

I think, for now, I'd just reiterate that I was hoping to at least introduce some thought and practice into really understanding how this asteroid might affect ones Chart. We frequently delve into the asteroids blindsided by a lack of information, such as it's meaning in relation to unique Charts. How it really works in our Chart.

In other words, instead of me writing out the interp for your Chart, try to understand where I was going with it. The thread got going a lot more than I predicted, so there are plenty of examples and feedback. It's important to know the basics of astrology really well, and even THAT takes many years, much less including asteroids into the realm.

I prefer to stretch back to the basics instead of tagging on fortune cookies, one after another.

Thanks again for your interest in this, and feel free to post.

I have Nessus in Gemini, 6th house. Can anyone interpret this for me?

(In any case, when I get knocked down I get back up again, nobody gonna keep me down - I put this down to Taurean determination combined with Sag ascendant adaptability. If someone can tell me how Nessus figures in this I would appreciate it)!

Welcome mayank25may

Glad there is still some interest in this. If you love to create hypothesis' and try them out in real time, you can see why I tried it. What I did was read about the bodies involved, sort of get a well-rounded history on it from different sources, until I feel vibe from it. Then I went to my Natal, and asked myself some hard questions. Based on the ethereal way I'd answer myself after MUCH meditation, I came up with a theory, and then wanted to put it out there to see what we can do. There is a lack of information out there on so much, but it's equally important to exercise your own intuition when it comes to astrology.

PS: Review what's been said here so far on this thread, starting from the beginning, and you may see what I mean.
