What is your propensity to get back up again? How much do you think it is part of your personality?

I'm looking into something. If you'd like, go to astro.com EXTENDED CHARTS, and enter 7066 in the ASTEROID field on the bottom left.

What Sign and House is your Nessus in?

Thank you for your feedback.

What Sign and House is your Nessus in?

My Nessus is in Cancer (3rd house)

*edited*
In matters other than heart I recover with great determination. I work with great force towards improving the situation.

Its different when it comes to issues of heart. It take a longggg time and gallons of tears to recover but once recovered, I seldom look back.

Hey I have always had the ability to get right back up after a falling down! Its something just inside me,even if I feel so miserable, something inside me pushes it out and I start laughing again.I also find when I feeling down,I start to act silly and that brings me back up heeehee. My Nessus is Leo in the 7th house.

Nessus in Gemini 12th House - quite resilient me, but have to have my tears first. Firmly of the mind that whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger

I consider myself very resilient. Mine is in Gemini, 7th house. What are your thoughts about this asteroid?

9th House - 15d Cancer.
It's retrograde.

I get knocked down, but I get back up again - sometimes with a brief "licking my wounds" period in between.

Mine is in Cancer in the 8th. As for my resiliency, I guess it depends on the type of knock down. I'm actually my strongest when my life is falling apart materially. I've lost jobs and suddenly found that I was super women. I lost my job about 2 years ago and managed in 2 months time to find a new job in another state and completely move myself across the country with zero help from anyone. It's like tragedy brings out my inner strength. I cry yes, but it doesn't weaken me.

But that's material tragedy. Tragedy of the heart is another matter. It knocks the wind out of me and makes me feel like I just don't want to try again. Failed relationships are incredibly hard on me.

Got a new Asteroids book, AJ??

Nessus the Centaur at 17 Taurus(r) in IX, trine Chiron, opposing Mercury.

After a period of licking the salt out of my wounds (self-inflicted or not), I usually recover my spirits with a bound, try not to lose the lesson, climb up out of the ditch, and start trucking on down the road again…..

Each time I endure emotional agonies, it makes me more wary – but it doesn’t stop me from putting my Self out there again eventually…..

Nessus 15Gem /9th hs
trine Uranus (1st)
exact semisextile Saturn (8th)

I'm resilient when I keep my focus on personal delvelopment. Internal, intellectual, etc. Especially intellectual, but physical too. As soon as I give up growing, I'll lose ground. But I have Pluto conj Asc, so need to give a regular rebirth to onself is in my chat in other places too.

Anyway, it is fun to play.

Nessus 6*Cancer, 1st house. 7* away from my Asc!

Trine my Venus, Uranus, and MC. Squared my Sun & Pluto.

I'm not sure I can tap into this frequency. I have Sun conjunct Pluto so I know what it's like to be a phoenix rising from the ashes, constantly reborn...

Nessus in Gem in the 10th, almost CJ my Mars & Saturn.
I consider I have a pretty good ability to bounce back, although the process of picking myself up again will take quite a long time (I take a while to acclimatise fully to new surroundings).

I have Nessus in Gemini in my 9th house (it forms a strong opposition to my Venus in Sag in the 3rd house).

I am extremely resilient to adversity, whether it is material or emotional. I try to take it philosophically. Last September (normally one of my worst months in the year) I moved out of my ex-fiances house (he was psycho) signed a lease for my new house and one day later was laid off from my job.

So there I was - no job, broken hearted, only a limited amount of dough in the bank and I had just committed a lease..... UGH!!!

I just told my friends "Bring it on.. might as well take it all on at the same time instead of dealing with one at a time".

Funny, almost 6 months later - I have a new man, a new job and money set aside to look for a new home

LOL.. The man is better than the ex, the job pays more and I have an office with windows along two walls, and the real estate market isn't looking bad at all ....

I just have that outlook, that no matter how horrible things get, it always gets better. I know it can happen again and it may very well happen.. but, such is life.

I also have Pluto conjunct Ascendant in the 1st house and I am a Sag Sun / Aries Moon / Venus in Sag.

My Nessus is 21 degrees Gemini conjunct my Saturn with a 6 degree orb. It's in my first house. Didn't check out any other aspects.

I consider myself a survivor, though I haven't been too much of a risk-taker.

Hi AJ,

My Nessus is 20 degrees Gemini in 5th house (exactly conjunct my Sun which is also 20 degrees Gemini in 5th house).

I am up and down psychologically. I've had a couple of major breakdowns over the last ten years but I've always managed to claw my way out of the murky depths and get on with smiling once more.

I'm resilient. It's times like that when I realise how much inner strength I actually have.

AJ, do please tell what you know about Nessus.

Gem 26 degrees in the 12th house.

I do not accept defeat. It is the invincible core of my being.

I love when people do research, please share your hypothesis and findings.

mine's retrograde too
25 degrees Leo/11th house

it depends on what I'm recovering from

in the case of heartbreak, it takes me an unusually long time, I mourn and retreat from the world, and write terrible poetry and basically retreat into myself completely for a period of time.

other types of adversity-
my route is either Denial Highway
or Hedonistic Pleasures Lane
generally a combination of two..
so it appears that I am resillient...
but appearances are deceiving

Interesting! I fall down…I cry ( emotionally ) I lick my wounds, collect my pride, become detached and move on with my life…like nothing happened.

Mine’s in Leo 5th house.
