taurus,You asked: quote: I'm wondering what you have noticed about the transiting Nodal opposition cycle.
I don't use transiting nodes, since I prefer to use the North node as a fixed "destinations" in the chart...and it messes everything up if the North node starts moving! Also, I have found major events tend to be indicated by major transits in stress positions (conjunction, square, opposition) of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and/or Pluto...so I tend to focus on these planets instead of nodal movements. As I mentioned to nove, I think it simplifies nodal analysis to simply see the Node as the focus of attention and the aspects to the node as "support" for the node. So you have a lot of support for Cancer (home, also emotions, nurturing) modifying North node (future goals) focused in the 8th house (transformation, also power, healing). This could indicate a focus on nurturing or healing others...or it might indicate your working to develop emotional power of some sort. Healing with emotional power, Tim IP: Logged |

Hi Tim, I wonder if you could give a bit of understanding to something regarding the North Node... I understand that it represents a point and not an actual body or, mass but, and if I recall 26Taurus has this also...Hi there 26 .... So, when I pull my chart up, at astro.com, the Noth Node has the (d) following the degree, hour and, minute info.... If I understand correctly, the NN is always or, it's normal apparent motion, is retrograde so, what does that (d) refer to.... does it matter at all... my husband's chart does'nt have anything following the NN info...? Anyway, just curious if you might have information about this... Thank You, in advance if so ~ geminstone IP: Logged |

Since the North node is a point, not a planetary energy, in my opinion, its being retrograde does not matter to me. The North node is a direction to get to in our life, not an energy in our life which can be held back (i.e, as in a retrograde planet). North nodalling, Tim IP: Logged |

That sounds like a challenge to me! To help you with this challenge, take a look to see if any birth planets square, sextile, or trine the North node. If any do, these planetary energies can be a "bridge" over to your North node. Since you have North node focused in the 11th house (friends, also other people's self-expression), focusing on helping other to express themselves in some way helps you accomplish your future goals. By the way...Uranus, ruler of astrology, rules the 11th house! But you already knew that! Agreeing, Tim IP: Logged | |
