My opinions on it?

It fits.

Progressed Moon in Saggitarius: Senses tingling, you are ready to stretch out into life, seizing opportunities. The exotic in all its forms fascinates you now.

This is what a recent test said about my Destiny:

Your destiny is to be an Adventurer http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/001965-2.html

Progressed Moon in 6th house: The time has come for you to assess your weakness.

I started this thread yesterday: "What did you learn today?" http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/006385.html

I've been very big on lessons, and taking responsibility for myself lately. (Also notice I started that thread prior to your interpretation. This is why astrology is so interesting.)

Hey cappyme,
This is Jupiter again, my progressed moon is in Scorpio in the 6th house. I read what you had wrote about the progressed moon in the 6th house. Wow that really explains a lot for me right now. There is so much in my life I wish to accomplish. I've always had this feeling that it could happen but only if I work my ass off. Everything that was written about the progressed 6th house moon really rings true. The humility thing- working to achieve something. But being humbled simply because of the hard work itself. hmmm thank you!!!! I will read this everyday before I start my day- it will cause me to work harder.
Ohh on more thing could you fill me in on the Progressed Scorpio moon- thank you so so much!!!

AG: yup thats pretty cool, Astrology is interesting like that.

Jupiter: oh definately . I'm glad to hear that its helping you. I might post the Progressed moon in scorpio thingy a bit later as I've loads of homework. (here in the gulf our holidays are on Thursday's and Friday's)

Zala:- you don't need to say thanks, you've always helped out everyone and provided them interpretations so many times, I'm just returning back the favor .

Here's your Progressed Moon interpretation:

Progressed Moon in Aquarius: Break the rules! With the progressed moon in Aquarius, your mood needs to be rebellious and free-spirited. Other people have been too successful at telling you what to feel. This is a time to defend and explore your individuality. Experiment. Think anything. Don't be afraid of anyone's disapproval. Something deep within you, something irremediably irrational, something explosive, is crying out for freedom. That voice is trying to inspire you to make your life your own. Listen to it. If you silence the voice for fear that someone to whom you have given too much power will hear it, you are setting yourself up for trouble. Sooner or later, the walls crack and all your stored up anger, rebelliousness, and iconoclasm come pouring out at once, beyond control. If you let that happen, you feel crazy and unbalanced-and you unnecessarily hurt the people around you. Better a lot of little tremors than one horrendous earthquake.
Michael Jackson's innovative individuality was stimulated by his Aquarian Moon progression--and in early 1984 the music industry recognized him for it by awarding him more Grammy awards than anyone in history. John Belushi shows the other side of the same lunar progression. His rebelliousness proved self-destructive, as he unintentionally killed himself with a drug injection.

Progressed Moon in 5th house: Deepened, intensified, sharpened by your quiet concentration with the self in the previous house, you are now ready to express yourself in a far more sophisticated way than ever before. The time has come to create symbols of yourself. Paint, write, sing, dance--if you are artistic in temperament, these outlets strengthen and gladden you now. Not all of us are artists, but each one of us can express himself or herself, and that is the point in this phase of the lunar cycle. If you are an athlete, put energy into your sport. If your nature is demostic, decorate your house. If you are in business, then trust your imagination now--it will never be stronger. You must recover your ability to play. That sounds easy but often proves challenging. If you lack anything now, it is probably joy. Find it and seize it!
With the progressed Moon passing through the fifth house of his birthchart, Michaelangelo executed what many consider to be his greatest masterpiece--the paintings adorning the upper reaches of the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican. After the progression of the Moon through his fourth house, he was ready to express his soul to the world--the essence of the fifth house terrain.

Let me know how accurate it is for you .

My progressed moon was in Aries and just progressed into Taurus. Needless to say, I felt it the exact moment it progressed over. When my moon was in Aries I was very very me centered, very "get mine", very impulsive, bursh my shoulders off, very proactive. Now I feel like I'm so security centered, instead of blowing all my $$ i'm ridiculously desiring to save it all, and it's still in my 6th house. I was on crash diets off and on with Moon in Aries in the 6th, now it's in taurus, and I've stuck with the same diet for about 2 months now...definitely see the difference. And I like it

well I am nov 6 1984 11:47

it says my progressed moon is "11aqu25'11" - 5 05' apparently if I did things right. what does that mean? what does the rest of the chart mean? it all seems so different from my natal chart.

Thanks a bunch cappy! It has been quite accurate. I have natal cancer moon, so I am instinctively very emotional and attached to things; this is conj jupiter in the 9th house, so I learn through my emotions.

I do definately see and feel the transformational qualities of the prog. 8th house moon. Much has been coming to the surface and surprising me. But as you stated, if I let it flow through me instead of hinder me, I will be able to heal. That is exactly what I plan on doing. It's amazing how many skeletons actually appear. I didn't realize I had so many.

Thanks so much!

Jupiter, here's your Progressed moon interpretation

Progressed Moon in Scorpio: Rarely an easy progression, never a light-hearted one, the entry of the Moon into the sign of the Scorpion signals a period of intense iner confrontation. The "moodiest of the Moon's moods," Scorpio drives you very deeply into yourself, into the mystery of life, and sometimes into its horror. There is no dodgint the truth now. The curtain is raised on your most personal psychological processes. Sexuality in the broadcast, most human sense of the word, is intensified. You feel hungry, although it often seems that no human touch could ever still the hunger. An awareness of death arises. Oftentimes, the progression suggests an actual confrontation with the death of someone close. You are integrating the unconscious mind into your personality--and the reason that part of the mind became unconscious in the first place is that it was too hard to face. But you are stronger now, and ready to see more clearly. Be careful of losing perspective, though. A powerful telescope might let you count the hairs on a squirrel's back a mile off--but you might miss the rainbow above him.
Sir Francis Chinchester was diagnosed with lung cancer while his Moon was progressing through Scorpio. He survived, but still he had to confront the reality of his own death. Geraldine Ferraro experienced her father's death under the same lunar placement. Peter Sutcliffe, the infamous "Yorkshire Ripper," commited the last murders of his killing spree was caught and sentenced while Moon was in Scorpio--his inners demons transalated all too clearly into the world of behaviour.

Progressed Moon in 6th house: Nose to the grindstone now. This is a time of hard work, responsibility, and relentless effort. Traditional astrologers speak of the sixth house Moon progression in terms of outward labour. The idea is accurate enough so far as it goes, but often our inner labours dwarf our outer ones now. This is frequently a humbling period. The time has come for you to assess your weakness--always an edifying process, but rarely a cheerful one. You are learning humility--don't learn humiliation by mistake. You are not stuck. You are no one's slave. You can change whatever behaviours and circumstances limit you, but wishing for such change is not the same as accomplishing it. Self-discipline and persistence are what's needed. Accept your responsibilities to others, but more importantly, to yourself. Be true to your word, and do what is right. Support yourself with new techniques and skills. Build a foundation of focused energy, honesty, and willingness to accept rightful criticism. Echoing the second house, you must once again prove yourself to yourself. Effectiveness is the keynote. You are experiencing a "darkness before the dawn."
Astronaut Eugene Cernan demonstrated his mastery of the sixth house lunar progression by piloting Apollo 10 to the Moon. Certainly the flight required long hours of intensive preperation along with absolute self-discipline and perfect concentration during the voyage itself--all sixth house lessons to be sure. Perhaps more poignant is the face that it was the next Apollo mission that actually landed on the lunar surface. Neil Armstrong will go down in history next to Christopher Columbus and Leif Erikson, while Eugene Cernan might be relegated to the role of a Vasca da Gama (who?). Still, he played his role perfectly and did not let ego get in the way of the execution of his mission, and that is the point in this phase of the progressed Moon's cycle through the houses.

Let me know your opinions on it . And don't thank me, its my pleasure.

Cappyme, very kind of you to share this with us. You already covered my progressed moon (Gemini), which was quite fitting, as I have been spending alot of time reading about anything I'm wondering about at the moment (ie, health benefits of green tea, how to connect with your spirit guide, how electricity really works, more astrology hair splitting, the origins of words & phrases, etc). There's no end to my curiousity it seems.

However, I haven't seen anything about progressed moon through natal 7th house. Could you put that up when you get a sec? That would be great!

Thanks again.

Hi cappyme ~

Interesting interp! Some comments…..

With the progressed moon in Aquarius, your mood needs to be rebellious and free-spirited.
Hmmmm….. so this would be….. different?? Uranus accidently dignified in the 11th natally pretty much sees to this on a daily basis

Better a lot of little tremors than one horrendous earthquake.
I find this to be good advice for *everyone* – don’t bottle up the feelings…..

you are now ready to express yourself in a far more sophisticated way than ever before. The time has come to create symbols of yourself.
Hurray! I have been feeling much more articially-inclined for the past few months, almost driven to the same point of self-expression as I was 3 years ago when I started my own business….. am looking forward (no lie!) to Pluto crossing into my 5th house in 2008!!

Thanks, sweetie ~

WOW!!!!! Cappyme that interpretation of the Progressed moon in Scorpio in the sixth house was pretty much on target. It describes the transfromation (Scorpio) I've been going through. Not to mention I have Pluto transiting my sign in Sagittarius. The thing that scared me about the progressed Moon in Scorpio was dealing with death it self. It was helpful though!!!
Thank you so much- Cappyme

Oh gosh, sorry for not posting any interpretations this week. I was really busy. Anyways
Secretseeker: Here's your Progressed Moon interpretation

Progressed Moon in 10th house: We humans are social creatures. A million years ago, that and our intelligence were the only virtues we had, and the only barriers seperating us from saber tooth tigers. Nature rewarded sociability, and long ago most of the true human hermits were weeded out of our gene pool, appearing as entrees on the menus of those tigers. Nowadays, for the vast majority of us, to be fully sane means to be integrated into the community. We might not always be part of the social mainstream--some of us are integrated into various subcultures. But that's still integraton. It still gives us a role to play and a sense of belonging. With the progressed Moon enetering your tenth house, the time has come to scrutinize and restructure your relationship to the community. You might need a new job, or to revamp the old one. You might become more involved in some "good cause." You might marry or divorce or announce that you are gay or Republican or Christian or communist. The point is that you need to redefine and clarify your standing in the eyes of all those other social creatures out there to whom you are not so much a friend as a symbol. Then pick up your roses, or take the heat. Given the diversity of human culture, there will likely be some of both.
Journalist Jack Anderson appeared on the cover of Time magazine and received the Pulitzer Prize in the spring of 1972 in connection with him work on the Watergate scandal--all with the Moon progressing through his tenth house. Jerry Brown, working under the same lunar placement, made the decision to leave the Jesuit monastery after several years there. The reason? He felt like becoming more involved with the issues of society.

Let me know if it's accurate for you .
