The funny thing about this is my mom is a Pisces moon (don't know her birth time) and I'm a Scorpio ascendant, and she totally is the energy vampire to me. I don't know what's up with that at all. Maybe everyone else runs her dry and then she has to "fill up" on me or something. IP: Logged |

That's not funny at all. Highly sensitive people can be like that. Especially if they are ones with serious psychological problems or who are crying about stuff. Some being seen as "whiners" which is a word that I hate to use. There are a lot of highly sensitive,empathic people that can have negative feelings that effect other highly sensitive,empathic people.My mom is like that with me. She is actually overly sensitive with
Ascendant,Mercury,Venus,Jupiter,and Uranus in Cancer along with Moon and Saturn in Scorpio. She has Sun in 12th trine Neptune which is a Sun-Neptune double whammy. Sun in 12th and Sun-Neptune aspect are similar to Sun in Pisces. After all, Neptune rules both Pisces and the 12th house. My mom's emotional,psychological issues really weighed me down and I felt drained,overwhelmed by her. She verbally and physically abused me too when I was growing up. Of course, that would really affect me emotionally. She has long history of depression and anxiety. She is a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. She has been taken advantage by a lot of people in the past because she can be so kind to others and help them out. She was also rejected by her mother as a baby. She never knew her mother. She was in 13 fosterhomes. She's also been shot. She was in unhappy marriage with my stepfather whom she never loved but married him for security issues. He was 25 years older than her. He actually took advantage of her vulnerable state after she got shot. She was very stressed and frustrated by my being a "special" child with my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia. She even called me "retard" out of frustration. She never graduated from high school and didn't feel that she was intelligent. She told me that has a lot of the Dyslexic symptoms. She also has some AD/HD symptoms. She has symptoms of Bipolar too. So my mother had a lot of issues that affected me. So yeah...she can be a serious energy vampire to me.

I have a neptune singleton, square moon. Neutralizing negativity from others is an ongoing process for me. It gets easier with practice. Skybound_Piscean, it's super important to distance yourself from others who unconciously pull on you. A simple excercise is to say out loud "this is not my energy, please leave [me]". The negative feelings and people will move away from you. It works. IP: Logged |
