These two interpretations for a Sun Quintile Moon are in this thread, which seem completely opposite.

quote:
Sun quintile Moon: Living one's life in an orderly, patterned way; preoccupied with style, and with self-image; seemingly stylized and artificial behaviour; a creature of habit

and then

quote:
Sun Quintile or Bi-Quintile Moon
You love creativity. You take great delight in clever and creative works and in games. Even in your later years, this trait keeps you young, and you don't easily become bored because you find life so interesting.

I read the first one and was immediately like umph! that's not me at all. Then I read the last one, and it's me.

Azalaksh -

Did you find those interps you posted to be accurate? I got the same result when I looked at my Saturn Quintile Neptune too! Those are TOTALLY not me, and the ones AcousticGod posted (cafe astrology.com)ARE me. I mean, the contrast is huge, and was wondering if anyone got the same contrast.

I find it helps to break down aspects into their simple elements. So for example:

Neptune - imagination
Quintile - acts creatively with
Mars - energy/ drive

Jupiter - expansion
Quintile - acts creatively with
Mars - energy/ drive

It makes it easier to build it up by house, sign and overall complexity of aspect. Especially in this case where really you have the conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune Quintile Mars, not two seperate aspects.

I like the cookbook definitions but I like to be able to work it out for myself and create my own interpretations.

Can anyone venture an interpretation of a novile between Saturn and Chiron. Can't seem to think of how this combination could "delight" or "rejoice".

This is great stuff on Quintiles! Yes, I agree...I believe the power of quintiles (especially tigt orbs) has been underestimated.

So my biggest question: quintiles in synastry!!! Anybody got info: I have a synastry with his moon quintile my pluto, my moon quintile his saturn and his sun quintile his uranus all at 0 degrees.
