Virgo. He drove me nuts with every damn thing. He was mentally ill(my personal opinion), immature, and a liar.

Yupp, in a lot ways we were...and in a lot ways we were very different. He was more Scorpio than Virgo in my opinion. Only good thing that came out of it was not needing to explain ourselves, coz we just "got it".

Im dating someone who is a Gemini just like me, and for the most part I have to say its good. We are very alike and I feel we complete each other. We have been going through tough times lately, but overall its a good relationship.

I'll start the ball rolling if you like.

Its quite nice actually ....to think about the people in my past. Im a 12th house Leo Sun and 7th house Pisces Moon. Its very interesting though just aside from the main point temporarily. I Share a house with a Pisces Sun guy and I really have noticed the dynamics between the Sun/Moon combinations. For example If I suggest an idea or perhaps mention something in a conversation that I have done and maybe quite proud(leo-ish) of then instantly the Sun Pisces is there to say how they did something the same but better or that there way of doing things is better, even when it might clearly not be I say this with a smile because I know that this person Is only trying to share there experiences it just seems to come out this way, besides it dosn't bother me. Its just a small example of what I've observed. The Sun wanting to outshinine the moon?...

But you asked about experiences with same Sun signs....and I've had a few. Though since I started learning astrology I have come to understand the subtle nuances of the Moon, Ascendant and all the others and how they play a part.

The first Leo I ever encountered was my best friend at primary school around the age of 5 until 15'ish. We were friends for a good amount of years. Our Sun energies would often shine togther...when I look back. But also I remember the arrogance of Leo. I never liked boasting as a kid and I still don't. Background and shadow for me please
There is one story I can tell. I remember when we were only 5 or 6, we used to hold sports competitions in our school, three teams would compete within the school. Cromwell,Gibson and Mandeville, anyway my Leo friend was in Mandeville and I was in Gibson. A few days before in the playground he was bragging and boasting about how was the best at swimming and how he was going to win and beat me and everyone else, since we had found out i was also competing in the same race, 25m breast stroke I think...lol. Well I suppose you see it coming....the lessons we learn in humility come at any age i guess. Needless to say but I beat him and came first, I must admit I suprised myself.

I think the point im trying to make is that alot can be learned from same Sun relationships for both people involved, I think in many ways these friendships, or not as the case may be, can show us so much about what, in our Sun energy, we may aspire or not aspire to be.

Hope this was the sort of thing you were after.

As a cancer I wouldn't recommend it. I have a parent who's the same sign as me....no good. I think with two cancers, we would never see the bright side of things,we'd be susceptible to eachother's moods, etc.

I've been involved in several 1-1 relationships and I've enjoyed them very much. You do get that "we get each other" thing happening, but with so many other variables in a natal chart, there are usually enough differences to make it interesting.

In a way it's kind of like being given a new kaleidescope through which to view the world. I love that feeling when differences are shiny new toys instead of dead horse pinatas.

Disregard that last sentence. It refers to a specific 4-10 relationship which is irrelevant to this topic.

Well, I can't say much for very intimate and personal relationships, but for friendships...

My bestest friend is a Virgo; we get along great.

My other friend is a Leo, at times I must say she is a bit much...but, she has a good heart; so overall it makes up for the 'over-dramaticness'. lol

Have two great male libra friends, they're nice...always trying to be 'fair' and 'balance', but at times both are too hypocritical. I mean, I know we as humans are all entitled to be hypocrites at times...but...these two even more so, lol...

and etc...

My moms a Libra sun and my dads a Pisces sun. I'm an Aries, my older sister is a Sagitarrius, and my other eldest sister is a Gemini.

I get along with my mother much better than my dad (hah, I have my moms' sun sign as my moon sign and my dads' sun sign as my mercury sign).

pisces-pisces?

Never met one I didn't get along with really well. Have had a pisces lover for a year now and its heaven and hell all in one.

The problem with 1-1 relationships is the tendancy to magnify both the good AND bad aspects of yourselves.

Pisces-pisces has been interesting to say the least, especially cos we have conjunct leo moons. Too similar? Maybe!

Really, That happens between geminis too? Is it the personality thing? It must be a trip though...having another "twin" in a relationship. Like having four of you..lol My bf has had a hard time with just my gemini venus in the past

I have dated two Scorps...well fell under the spell of two Scorps. It was weird being on the recieving end of that strange Scorp gaze but good to see first hand. Wow, it was like we could read eachother's minds just by looking at eachother.

Very, very intense in both cases. But I have to say, when it was over--it was over. None of that one side hanging on while the otherside walks away. Scorps cut the ties and that is it...

Having said that, one of the Scorp guys wrote me TWO years later to say he was still thinking of me (and I of him). I guess it all comes down to a weird mixture of stubborness and sensitivity.

Good experiences in both cases.

Personally as a sag, I've never been attracted to a sag, and more than that I can never imagine myself in a relationship with a sag. All they think of is to play. You can't get serious with them, it's like impossible. However I love sags as friends, both male and female, they make great friends.
