Oh no, not again I noticed that Sthenri deleted alot of her old posts and not only in this thread, she obviously has her reasons.

DFD, just chill, will you! Sthenri and everyone else (yourself included) are entitled to your own opinions. No need to go off on your high horse and turn the whole thread upside down.
Whatever happened to freedom of speech??

As I said in an earlier post - this is all very upsetting! I am sure the original poster did not intend whatever caused such an vicious attack on her person - the whole point of this forum is to dicuss a number of issues, some sensitive. I think the aim was to consider if certain aspects/planets/placements contribute to our perspective when it comes to drugs - and I also think 'drugs' covered the whole spectrum including the stuff we get handed by dcotors! As for bringin suicide in to it.... we all have our opinions and if you don't agree, fine, but don't take it as a personal attack if someone doesn't agree with you - our differenecs are what make us special!

D for D

I met a man in a pub the other night

He is an Aquarius with Moon in Scorpio

Very intellignet, very talented

But totally arrogant...

I watched him....HE SPOKE OVER EVERYONE and didnt let anyone have their say.

When I challenged him, he did back down a little, but he was spoiling everyones night...telling the musicians to be more passionate...give it more...etc etc. I tried explaining to him that they did what they did...

He wasnt accepting people for who they were or for what they did

And he was very critical

It wasnt very nice to be around..

Please D for D

Back off a little will you...

Not everyone is able for your comments, your philosophy, maybe they never will be and why should they be?

A little grace, a little humility hey?

Thanks

back to deleting and editing..

when someone starts a topic, they shouldn't be able to delete it once people start sharing. it distorts the conversation.

you see?

Lovely,

There is most likely a reason for it. I have known Natasha a good long time and she has had a few problems with someone going through the posts and then using them against her. From time to time we have ex-mates or friends discover this website and then go bonkers when they read our thoughts and issues. I believe that Natasha had something like that and I know that when Proxieme was here she dealt with it big time.

It does change the context but most often it is done as a protective measure.

Deleting posts is wrong. People need to be liable for their words.

However, editing is a necessary part of the writing process.

I often edit my posts on this website. But I'm usually done editing within 5 minutes of the original posting, in order to keep the misrepresentation to a minimum.

There will always be statements that can be added, omitted, or clarified in posts, and these revisions are generally so benign that there is no cause to create a whole new post.

I never cut out anything of relevance, but I will reword something if I feel it will project my intention more effectively.

There is nothing worse than feeling misunderstood, and I wouldn't hesitate to alleviate any confusion over my words.

If I ever edit something out of my posts, and anyone wants to call me on it, then please do.

PS: Sobriety can only take us so far. Drugs are a good thing. Know your limits, and enjoy.

That is your choice and I am sure if you are being stalked by a psychopathic abuser than wants to kick the living sh1t out of you for what you said you would welcome it because you are being held liable for your words.

In the real world things are not so cut and dry- especially when there are men that would stalk online forums and read past posts about ex-mates and use that to beat on the woman. That has happened here (and I am not saying with Natasha).

Things are always what they seem and being judgemental concerning someone deleting their posts for safety reasons does not help.

Carry on....

sorry girls. i'm out. i don't get it.

i edit for bad spelling (immediately..or sometimes not at all) or trying to better present my point as Scopionic Web mentioned/ one time i deleted a post because it was completely out of context and did not apply to the conversation. i've had drunken moments i was ashamed of which made me look like a complete fool..still I didn't delete. It was the truth at the moment. It doesn't make me that truth.

then again.. no one beats the crap out of me. really, is someone here at risk for being physically hurt because of what they write at Linda Land? Not judging, just asking a question.

and if *one has* risks such as the ones you mentioned pid, you should either not post or stand up to the b@stard(s).

my love to you~

Hmmmm maybe compassion should be a word that you look up and embrace. It is too easy to judge when you are reading text over a monitor. I am not the one in question as far as getting the snot kicked out of me, but we did have a woman here that had no idea her husband knew about this site.

She posted her story of abuse- she posted that he found out- she no longer posted again.

Judge all you want, just be happy you are not in that situation.

Happy, I understand that and I agree with it. I have deleted some of my posts concerning my ex- but for personal reasons. I do not change the context of my posts by editing them (but will make grammatical and spelling changes when needed).

I have edited a post with permission from the person that I may have something mean to- but that is between myself and them.

I also can understand why some people had to go back and delete things in order to preserve their careers or homelife.

In the same respect, I do not hold in contempt those here that are advocated drugs yet condemn those that delete posts, even though I abhor the use of drugs.

It seems to me a bit foolish to read someone state 'Don't ever delete a post, stand up to a b@stard that may beat you, but hey go out and screw anything that moves and while your at it DRUGS are yummy".

Hmmm.. last time I heard deleting posts didn't get you addicted nor did they cause an STD. LMAO....

PS... I have found that eating words with a bit of chocolate sauce makes them go down a wee bit better.... LOL.. yes, that advice from a Saggie that lives off of Filet of Sole

lovely,

I did point the post to you that I had addressed to you. The subsequent posts were directed at Scorpionic Web. The posts of abuse weren't about you and neither were the posts about drug / sex indulgence. I am sorry if you took it that way.

Pidaua

Btw.. I guess this WAS the case where I was talking to the door but the wall wanted to get in on the conversation LOL.... (Smile Sweetie!!!)

HP- I am a German Beer lover, but I've only had German beer imported to the US or micro-brewed here, such as in the case of Widmer Hefeweizen. I LOVE that beer (I am also partial to it because I graduated from the University where one of the Widmer wives is the dean of students). I used to get that beer in pony kegs with my friends and I even received scholarships from the brewery LOL...

I'll be in Germany in March and then I'll be able to give a better opinion. Hmmm... the 3 b's.. Bear, Beer and Bratwurst.. YUMMY!!! Enjoy your ice cream.. what kind is it?

Lovely,

I think you are a wonderful person and disagreements/ differing views are always welcomed. I've got your back too!!!!

Hugs!!!!

.. it was really difficult to pass by a bratwurst vendor without sampling their offerings ..
.. and the clock museum .. that was a strange place ..
.. i rarely drink but i always felt that american beer was a bit lacking in taste ..
i.e. slightly bland compared to german or british brews .. just gets me thinking is all ..
.. wasn't the budweiser brewery started by a german imigrant ?? mr otto budweiser ??
.. I tried some local beer up in the faroe islands .. they make it from natural spring water ..
.. a very pleasant brew to say the least ..

.. one goes out to a pub for a few drinks .. which naturaly seems to make one hungry ..
.. then a late night curry after the pub closing .. curry houses stay open till the early hours ..
.. it's sort of become a british tradition .. well at least up-north ..
.. i've got an addiction to pakistani ~ kashmiri cooking methinks :-) ..

be just that when i read your words on chocolate .. i was down in the kitchen brewing some tea ..
when i had this urge to open the freezer door for some reason ..
and to my suprise was faced with a small mountain of ice-cream bars ...
don't know what one calls them .. u know .. ice-cream on a wooden stick in a wrapper ..
.. nearly passed their sell by date at that ..
.. so it was just in the nick of time .. :-)))) .. so .. thanx for the reminder :-)

Pidaua, you wrote-

"'Don't ever delete a post, stand up to a b@stard that may beat you, but hey go out and screw anything that moves and while your at it DRUGS are yummy'."

"The subsequent posts were directed at Scorpionic Web"

You're directing this towards me?

I don't know where the "screw anything that moves" comes from... that's just absurd. I know its all a matter of relativity, and considering the world around me, I feel I'm very discriminating about the women I sleep with.

Yes, I believe people should stand behind their words. Too bad people who can't keep their mouths shut get involved with abusive relationships. Perhaps it is not I who lack discrimination in my choice of partners, but rather those people who date raving lunatics. I would never recommend standing up to abuse, I advocate leaving the guy.

Yes, drugs are yummy for some. Bad for others. It has to do with the desire to experience the many exciting facets of the human brain, which no imaginable sobriety could ever replicate. It has nothing to do with quality of character, and as long as I am responsible in my usage, why would you or anyone else care?

HD... Hmmm.... bratwurst vendors.. yummmmmy.... I am excited about going, especially about traveling. I have a civilian passport instead of just a Military one so that I can travel outside of Germany (Bear's had his for a while) we plan on going to Italy, Switzterland, England and I do hope Ireland. On our four day weekends we'll leave Germany, but on regular weekends we'll tour the country.

We'll be living in a place called Wackernheim - Ingleheim, which is right on the Rhine. http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl=en&u=http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingelheim_am_Rhein&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dwackernheim%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D

Our house overlooks the vineyards (I am so excited about it). I am happy we'll be there for 2 years and can explore everything that the area has to offer. Bear might get back into officiating wrestling, which means we'll be taking trips all over for tournaments (yay..I can shop or just kick back and take in the city).

Hey... how was your ice cream?

PS.. Yes, I am a Sag with taste. Why eat it or drink it if it isn't the best? LOL...

As for voicing my opinion (regarding the deletion of posts or anything else), this is an open forum, and I was exercising the right of partaking in impersonal discussion.

Aren't you going to explain why you called me out personally on the matters of sex, drugs, and abuse? Or was it just a floundering, ill-conceived, cheap shot?
