Taurus men can be very attractive and charming, but I do have to agree they can be players. Mostly observed through other womens complaints about them, I've never really been with a Taurus man before, but the one I work around that I talked about in another post is probably a player. He is way to flirty with the women around here(he managed to migrate the charm around the office). Mabe a special one will come my way just for me, so I can have that earthly experience

Sun in Libra
Moon in Cancer
Jupiter in Cancer
Venus in Virgo
Mars in Cancer
Ascendant in Cancer

I "FEEL" therefor I am

Oh....

And I will have to add something about the earthy masculinity with Bull guys~~~

Best in bed I have ever experienced!!!

Maybe it is just my Taurus moon that heightens the intrigue....

Taurus men? players? are you kidding me?

it depends on the chart I guess, the person youre asking about has gemini in there...

my experience, taurus men are loyal, faithful, grounded, sweet, etc...only problems ive come across is the stubborn, lazy, slob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and the stagnantion.....

other than that, i think theyre great...

Ok...

Ya'all are going to get tired of me and my astrological symbolism, but it so kicks my butt!!!

There is this GIANT fire that broke out in a small community close to me in a mulch pile. The State has been called it to help with it....it is a MESS!!!

(posted a story about it on Gaia's Garden)

So I drive by this morning and there are these cows---a bunch of cows---grazing in the thick, black, smelly smoke right beside the fire!!! Even the birds who like to sit upon them were nowhere insight!

SO like a cow....(Bull, Taurus...) "My enviroment may be toxic, not good for me, smelly, gross, deadly, and no one but my fellow cows will come near, (and if "they" do they have on gas masks) but it is MY enviroment. It is what I AM USED TO! It is a habit with me. Do not ask me to leave, the comfort of what I know feels SO good, even if it kills me....."

Gosh, gotta love em, though, somehow!!!

omg, when i read ur post i got chills because your coworker in question has a lot of the same placements as myself.

you said he has: sun in Taurus, asc in leo (I believe), his moon in Virgo, his venus in gemini, his mercury in Taurus and Mars in Leo.

i have: sun in taurus, asc in leo, moon in capricorn, venus in gemini, mercury in taurus and mars in taurus.

so besides our moon and mars, his placements are the same as mine. and thats not such good news for you, ill be completely honest.

i have a wandering eye, and even when im with someone im interested/have a relationship with, i always am open to meeting someone "better" (as in better looks, better background, better job, etc.) so in all honesty, im an opportunist. im also very flirtatious and nowadays i have to fight really hard not to let myself get involved with too many people.

i think ive cheated on every single person i was in a relationship with (which explains why ive been voluntarily single for the past 2 years, i dont want to hurt anyone else.) it's not my intention to be an ass, i guess i cant deny my nature. i love to feel in love, but once i feel tied down, i back out.

u say hes a charmer, and im sure he is. with a venus in gemini he must know how to talk and flirt, and because hes a taurus, he loves sensual things and is romantic, etc. and the leo ascendant plays a big role too, as it does with me. leo ascendants just naturally attract attention even without intending to. even if there are prettier people in the same room as me, i often get noticed more, though i dont kno why but ill attribute it to my leo ascendant. therefore, more attention equals more phone numbers.

my advice: a long-term relationship is prob not gonna happen if he doesnt respect you. dont give in to him too easily or else he'll think of u as already conquered and lose interest. even as a woman, i lose interest quickly in a man if hes over the moon about me or gives in to me too quickly whether it be sexually, mentally, or emotionally. if you want to influence him to be w/u for the long haul, u have to be very well-spoken, unique, have things that set u apart from the crowd, and be down-to-earth as well.

does he have an overly dominant personality as well? on the DISC test i placed as a dominant D (result oriented.) i am also an ENTJ, which over accentuates my venus in gemini placement because that means i have no problem changing partners if i feel i can do better. my partner is a reflection or extension of who i think i am.

either way, good luck and just remember that he probably has a huge ego that needs to be stroked like a big cat and a lot of pride. so dont say anything caustic or insensitive, be encouraging and warm, let him maintain his independence, and by doing this, at the least, ull earn his respect.

despite the fact that im capricious/fickle in love, i am very loyal to my family and friends. i dare say that maybe hell treat you better as a friend than he would if u were his girlfriend. but who knows, even if most of our placements are similar, he and i can still have completely different beliefs, morals. good luck!!

earthylioness, thanks for being honest. I guess Taurus sun with venus gemini is a hard placement well at least for the folks that fall in love with you. a friend with those placements plus Asc in Gemini has major issue with women. He doesnt understand why he falls in and out of love so fast and often. Im gonna direct him to this thread.

haha this can not be true to all Taurus men.

My brother, he is a Taurus and he doesnt go fooling other girls or have intentions of charming them. Hes just quiet and has the natural charm but Taurus, a player? Quite unlikely actually.

Taurus are hardworking too and also artistic like Salvador Dali. Dali fell in love with a married woman, Gala so probably that culd be another reason why Taurus are players too.

But I know some Taurus are loyal people as well. So dont lose hope in Taurus!

Sorry guys I haven't been able to reply you before, but I have been quite busy. Now, this week, I am on holiday, but honestly, I am not enjoying it very much...
I want to thank you for all your comments, I am very grateful, althought to be honest, they are not very encouraging, lol, but thank you for all your opinions.
I am not in a great mood today, and probably everything that I say will make no sense. Actually, I feel sad, and somehow, part of this sadness is because of my workmate. It is something deep inside me, I don't know how to explain it.
And besides, lately I am in a "meditating" (can you say that in English?!) period of my life and I feel very confussed about a lot of things, althought I must say I feel at least better than previous years... but in any case, days like these I feel I do nothing right, and for me, it is a hard feeling to swallow...
Regarding boys, it seems to me that I ALWAYS notice the wrong type, which means the problem is me, not them, I guess. Is this going to be like this forever? I don't have much hope today, sorry
Sorry about rambling like this here, I know this is an astrology forum, not a "love/relationship counselling" forum!
Anyway, I find curious that most of people here don't seem to like Taurus people (especially men) at all... I thought they were known for their honesty, being loyal, etc, etc. At least Taurus people that I have known in my life were that way...
Thank you for listening and for everything. I really appreciate it.
Take care.

I knew one that was a player...but he was a sweet guy otherwise, so I loved him anyways..hehe.

And being flirt does not always equal being someone who gets around. Some people just do it just because, and most times without even realizing it.And then there are those who are just really friendly.

I had a Taurus boyfriend once.

The worst boyfriend ever!!!
He has a Libra moon square my sun. He had mercury in gemini, Venus in Gemini, Mars in Taurus. My moon in scorpio opposites his mars and sun. the only nice thing about it is I have a tight conjunction of my Chiron to his mercury (We got along so well, our conversations were always a pleasure, always a laugh) and my Venus conjunct his Mars.

he was the worst boyfriend when it came to real affections. When we first started going out, he was sweet like all taureans are when they are finding out more about you and getting-to-know-you stage. But as time wore on, he wasnt as romantic and basically bored me to death with our "love life". Our emotions for each other weren't "all or nothing". It was more "in the middle". In fact, everytime I became intense with him, he literally became scared to death and refuse to participate in my dramatic episodes. He would just sit there and tune out everything.

A total charmer. He loved everything light and airy, even in love(venus in Gem in the 10th/11th cusp) I still keep in contact with him, and I know for a fact he is a ladies' man. I just came to accept what we are to each other. Better off as friends!

I'm sure there are Taurus men who can be players. It's rare though.

Earlier, I commented on several middle-aged Taurus men I've known but now these three young Taurus guys come to mind around my age. One I knew back in high school. He had really low self esteem and a pretty lousy life at home with an abusive step-dad and crazy OCD mom. He was nice and charming, but kind of flirty with everyone. He always appeared to be so light and hearty, but you could tell it was all pretense and phony. I couldn't blame him, though. He turned promiscuous all of a sudden and would kiss and tell. THen he became anorexic. I felt sorry for the guy.

the second Taurus I've known is a really odd fellow. I never had his birth info although I would have loved to. He turned out to have an eating disorder too like the previous guy- he was bulimic. He was also really possessive of his best guyfriend, whom he had a crush on, and was extremely jealous of the girls who'd hit on him.

I currently like the third guy I'm mentioning. He's really intelligent, sweet, and attractive - he has everything I could ask for in a guy but it's too bad that he flirts with everyone. I suspect that he would cheat, if I we were ever together, so I'm probably just going to remain friends with him.

I haven't read through all the posts here, but the answer to the question is:

Yes, they can be both.

Most of my friends are Taurus'. They like to look nice, and they're popular with women, so being a player is fairly easy for them. I've heard most porn stars are Taurus, so there you go.

On the other hand, most of the ones I know do endeavor to behave properly in almost all situations. My best friend is one of the most gentlemanly people I know.
