Jan Spiller's book, ASTROLOGY FOR THE SOUL, is very good. I have my North Node in Aries and most of what she has written is very true. One of the things is learning to have a 'self' awareness. "owing to the weakness of the "identity" band in Aries North Node aura, these natives are very sensitive to others and are easily affected by others' moods and ideas, and they need to remember to do things to fortify their SELF awareness. These folks even tend to take on the identities of others. Generally, they pick up accents easily and unconcsiously duplicate other people's mannerisms, even if they are around them for a short time." also, somethings about not recognizing one's own true reaction until awhile-even days or weeks later. and becoming able to set boundaries and take the time to get to know one's self and one's likes and dislikes.. i notice all these things about me! i pick up accents easily and walk around talking like whomever I've had the most recent conversation! Mexican, French, German accents come and go- when in Louisiana i speak Cajun! My reactions are slow, even to traumatic events. It takes awhile for what happened to 'catch up' to me. Startled friends and acquaintances wonder at my late blooming reactions days or weeks later! Spiller also says "drained or over-excited are two sides of the same coin" Suddenly lashing out at a loved one and expecting understanding...and learning to lead instead of support as well as not expecting others to know what is expected of them but telling them! Anyone else have an Aries North Node and would like to comment? Anybody else like the book and want to comment on anything she wrote about your nodes?IP: Logged |

I have my north node in Aries (with my sun, moon, mercury and uranus in libra -- yikes). I have read this book and felt it was excellent and very right on. For some reason, I almost felt depressed when I first read it, though, I don't know why.IP: Logged |

mysticaldream-me, too! I was depressed, too! Maybe because as Spiller says, we need or think we need other's approval and tend to try to see ourselves thru other's eyes? Maybe we think others do not like the way we are constantly? I, too, am working on this and needed the 'poke in the eye'! Azalakash! thank you for the links and for always being on top of things! My search on Lindaland doesn't seem to work or i would have tried to search down and add to other links- tuxedo meowIP: Logged |

Yes, I think that's it. It "touched a nerve" so to speak, and made me feel uncomfortable at first. I should go back and reread it.IP: Logged |
