Topic: Is Gemini in Venus THAT bad????

I havwe Venus in Gemini. Im a Cancerian tho... and I have Aries Rising...So....Im Definatley NOT into the Variety game. But the thing is, there really needs to be shared interests, otherwise, jusat couint on being freinds with them. Venus in Gemini has to have an intellectual bond with their partner, I mean, are we going to spend the rest of our lives together or not? The way a Ven Gem sees it....if there's no intellectual rapport, there will be boredom, i mean..what are we gonna talk about? Waht are we gonna do? We are talking about a whole lifetime to fill for pete's sake! LOL But if you have no real shared interests with a Ven Gemini, then they are fun to date and fun to have as freinds. Oh crabby, your right. he is a big time intellectual type and actually admitted to me that he is attracted to geeky girls. I gather that statement references the intellectual side I feel like this one is testing me and doing a good job of it. I just wanted to be certain about the whole infidelity thing some sites have noted about this placement. Lots of Cancer here. Got a Gem Venus.
I AM faithful and not flirtatious at all (all my other placements repress my Venus) BUT at times i do get emotionally confused. What i mean is that sometimes -few times- i can't really tell if what i feel for a guy is fascination,lust,love or i am simply flattered. IP: Logged |

Another cancer with venus in gemini here. I'm faithful once I'm commited but do need excitement in my life.....and this is not limited to my relationships. I've never been with a quiet guy before, even though I'm quiet myself. Dumb guys send me running, ignorant ones as well. The type of women that guys with this placement would like according to tradition would be slender women, or women who have a brain. No dumb model types for these guys. I can say this is true because my dad has this placement too....and he's a cancer as well. IP: Logged |

Well I am learning as i go about this Cancer Sun/Gemini Venus thing. Things I have discovered is: They are intelligent Like to take time to roll things around in their head Seem secretive Seems to notice curvy women, not fat not skinny, shapely Looks at the breast area Enjoys and or appreciates the arts, music etc... Creative in the sack Good with words Inquisitive Goal reacher Did i miss anything?

My mom's a virgo (btw, my father's moon is in virgo). She's not dumb....very smart lady in my opinion. She's always been curvy and it suits her well at 5"6". I think I should note to you though that my parents have been divorced for many years now...they broke up because of issues between them. I have venus in gemini. I always made a personal choice to be faithful and have never been otherwise. Anyway, I fall in love for keep and yes, he has to be very very interesting and appeal to my intellectual and moral values. I'm only just curious.------------------

Theres a lot of Gem/Ven out there and so far no one has admitted to any infidelities of any sort. they need to change the descriptions of Gem/Ven then because it had me paranoid for a minute there.looks like i have keep up with my current events instead of the lastest fashions to keep this guy interested. i really don't understand all the crap about gemini's in general. I've never cheated and all the gemini's I know are very faithful.I'm a gemini venus and my problem isn't that I need "variety". I need excitement and interests, though.
My biggest problem is that I quickly get sick of men, I start getting doubts ("am I with the right person? Am I really in love? Do I even like this man?). I also can't stand it when a man starts being possessive with me. I also needs lots of space.
That venus is more about a man interesting me and exciting me than about "variety" and the duality expresses itself in doubs, in my opinion. The problem is compounded by the gemini stellium (venus/sun/mars/merc) squaring moon opposite PL/UR. That T square is a killer. IP: Logged |

So basically everything goes in in the head and doesn't actually transpire into anything physical. the thing is, is that i feel like this guys very trustworthy. It is just the fact that i heard all the bull about the ven/gem really concerned me. another thing is that he dated a girl for almost a year and just dropped her. I met her a few times and thought she was a drag though. Very prim and proper type.Every gem i have ever known was very hip on current events and seemed to enjoy crossword puzzles, trivia etc...coincidence maybe but EVERY one gem was into it. IP: Logged |

It's all relative. A Cancer or Virgo sun can override Venus Gemini flighty tendencies.Venus in Gemini is perfect if the other partner has personal planets in another detached air sign like Aquarius. They'd understand each other perfectly and would not be needy toward each other at all. Commitment and faithfulness would mean something different to them than to the rest of us. IP: Logged |

Why? Because my parents had a very disfunctional relationship. I was hurt when it happened but I now I realize how much better off we all are because of it. The last thing I would ever want now is that in some unlikely chance, they get back together.
Ps. I like nerdiness too...they don't even have to look the part either. But I find it hot when a guy I'm attracted is wearing glasses.....whoowee!

It just boils down to that. I read somewhere that Venus placed in ANY air sign dislikes course behavior...thye like refinement...but we are too refined to say so. LOL. sinderlou, wht r your placements?btw, i think u got confused...the 'get prepared to be cheated/ditched' is venus in sag, IMHO.
esp a cancer sun/asc cheating...highly unlikely. see, he is sssllloooowww.....tht's so cancerian (ask, me, cancer asc). yes tht wud incline him towards brainy women, and women who can hold their own. btw, do u hv some fire in you??  i think tht shud do the trick as well *edit* when it comes to interpretation of planetary placements, it goes like this: all other things being equal, venus in gemini/sag/aries etc etc might hv more likelihood of being unfaithful. the catch is the phrase in bold. add that to ALL interp's you read frm now on. but when are all things ever equal in life? except when doing a statistical study of the whole human population over a long time perhaps. so, i wud say look at the whole chart. and if even then u don't know, look at the person. most of the times u wud know the answer in your heart.
