I think I should add my uranus experience here. Right now I have uranus conjuncting my sun (14:44 pisces). It has already contacted my sun once(which on cusp of my 8/9 houses) back in June of 2006. At about 5 degrees before the conjunction, I started to feel a little irritation with my husband. He didn't help matters, as he began lying to me and I was catching him in those lies. By the time the transit was exact, I was ready to leave. I went out an secured an apartment, but before I could leave, he really had a long talk with me and explained that the reason he lied was because he felt that I would be upsset if he told the truth about his previous tax situation and a few other things. We love each other very much so we decided to start over and stay together (uranus went retrograde). Uranus is now leading up to exact again, but we are closer than ever now. I don't know what kind of surprise uranus has in store for me (if any) this time around, but I'm bracing myself. Just my experience. IP: Logged |

Hi Dulce Luna,I saw your post, but I wanted to see if anyone else had any experiences with that transit, as we all don't have the same experiences, so I kind of wanted to get a broad range of events. Thanks for your post ... it did give me some clues. IP: Logged |

Theoretically, why would saturn be so much stronger than jupiter? They are the two biggest planets and are the traditional malefic and benefic. In alot of ways they balance each other out. Jupiter is expansion, saturn is constriction, etcIP: Logged |

Bucketrider, I don't know why, but saturn is given much more weight than jupiter, probably because saturn is just that "WEIGHT" and is very constricting and limiting. You feel weight much more powerfully than anything else. Also, while saturn and jupiter are just about the same size, the rings of saturn are much larger and prominent than the rings of jupiter, uranus, neptune and pluto. Maybe this has something to do with it. I just haven't read anything astrology book that gives jupiter the same intensity as jupiter, although we do feel jupiter and, of course, WE LOVE THAT FEELING! I think they are possibly equally strong. We as a species are more prone to notice the negative than the positive. That probably has something to do with it. I always saw the rings as signifying constraint, boundaries, definitive lines, etc IP: Logged | |
