I was a little shocked last night, when Craig Ferguson did his monologue, that he did a fairly serious one. He's a non-practicing alcoholic ("recovering" alcoholic isn't really a viable term, is it?), and he spoke a great deal about his own experience. He seems to believe Britney is acting a bit like he used to.

Jan,

You were right about the chart being a little off! It turns out she was born in Mahon, MS! Info here: http://www.astrodatabank.com/NM/SpearsBritney.htm

If it was JUST shaving her head, yes... that might be seen as "needing a change"... but this is an incident in a string of very public acts of recklessness and crazy behaviour in the middle of a very messy divorce and impending custody battle. Just that day she checked in and out of a rehab facility and then spent 10 minutes weeping in her limo before storming into the salon and shaving her head.

In context, it doesn't take a whole lot "interpreting" to figure out she's having a major breakdown.

I just wish she would pull it together, get out of LA and get help for her personal issues... counselling, meds, rehab whatever she needs... if not for herself, then at least for her kids.

Then she can get on Oprah and talk about it when she makes a comeback! Or something.

I was reading about some opinions of her behaviour being that it was a calculated move...having weighed up all the data I thought I'd have given her the benefit of the doubt...but for ONE thing.

Why would the hairdresser put her hair on Ebay??? I mean, can one actually legally do that without the owner's consent?

This is what made me very, very suspicious, particularly with all the hype that subsequently surrounded it. In a way, it reminds me of the recent Celebrity Big Brother in the UK, where Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty was subjected to racist abuse from Jade Goody & Co. - then went on to win CBB, and had Max Clifford step in as her PR representative. As far as I'm concerned, that was a deliberate fix to promote Ms. Shetty in the UK. And as for talk of Jade Goody having a nervous breakdown etc. that was all codswallop. It was a gigantic PR exercise.

My feeling is that if Max Clifford can persuade celebrities such as Jade Goody to make arses of themselves in public, why shouldn't he persuade Britney Spears? To me, she seems like quite a conventional, conservative girl at heart, and this is definetely an out-of-character daft five minutes - most likely engineered by Mr. Clifford himself - or somebody else...encouraging her to reinvent her image.

I don't really believe anything I hear on the news anymore, it's all too suspicious for my liking...I smell too many rats!

Just my five penn'orth.

Britney is dealing with bad Karma..She took Kfed away from a woman that he was with and she was pregnant..Britney thought she had something she thought she was doing something. Yes he came of his own free will, but this woman was pregnant with his child and had already had a small one with him. A real woman would have said to Kfed hey your plate is full enough already take care of your business and well if things just don't work out with you and her we will see. Never would I have dated him while he had a baby on the way. SO she help to take a man away from his kids time and now that same man will/can take her kids from her..Its a revolving door..And I bet she has not even thought about that..Kfed is/will get his too..

Bad Karma -Indeed. I cringed when I heard about Kevin leaving a woman & child, with one on the way, to be with Brittney. I thought "Girl, women really have to stick together and FORCE men to be quality people and resposible dads. You are not doing your part. What comes around goes around."

It's true. Some people will argue the point, but that doesn't make it any less true. Women DO have the burdon of FORCING men to be honerable, because so many of them can't seem to do it on their own. You lay it out for a man, and all to often he will take while taking's good, regardless of his prior obligations. Thankfully, not ALL men are morally devoid, but many of them are when it comes to women, sex, fatherhood, loyalties, etc....

Yep I say it all the time, Men play women with other women bc its allowed..We really do need to stick together and men would not be able to play women at all..Not only that why would you even want a man that is capable of treating a woman the way he did that other woman while carrying his child..Says something ain't right to me..

So later for trying to look up her transits wondering if she is bi-polar or not if she is suffering from a break down or not..Karma has a hold of her and all she can do now is ride it out and do some soul searching..

i'm a sun sag

let me tell you - in january, i cut my hair off (right above my ear although now it has grown to just below the bottom of my ear) although, the way things have been going, i would have shaved it had the thought crossed my mind that day......hmmmm - it was such a "free" feeling like - YES, I'm finally doing something i want to do that didn't come from a suggestion, that is not approved by my family friends and hairdresser (who kept asking if I was sure) - they all thought I was nuts - it was great. no regrets.

it'll grow back even better and so will she

Hey,

What I find most interesting is that basically she is a Sun in sag person and pluto is transiting in sag at the moment so its probably conjuncting her Sun. And Pluto transits usually mean "rebirth" and the article talks about how she's taking control of her life and starting on a fresh page. So the parallels here are interesting. She prolly is going through hell right now, repenting her bad karma, but I'm positive this is going to make her a better person, or so I'd hope.

Now listen, I know you've got to think about your image, cause image is important to you, because of course your friends are gonna dictate your actions through the rest of your lives, and I wouldn't want you to step away from them and become an individual, that would almost be too much!

I couldnt believe she married a guy who left his pregnant gf either!!! It was doomed for failure. K-Fed is a male gold digger pure n simple...Hes got recognition and Britneys babies. She was too naive and played for a fool for all to see. What lady could maintain their sanity after making the ridiculous choices she did??

I feel like Britney's life is going into the black hole. She's been in and out of rehab so many times that it's difficult to believe that she's commited to getting help.

I deeply wish to the heavens that she is devoted to getting the help she deserves...because I don't want her to see herself in a hospital bed.

I say this with as little judgment as possible - just looking at the events as they are (because we have all done things we are not proud of anyway)... but I agree that it is karma.

I've felt that about Anna Nicole Smith too.

Even if you don't believe in karma, just looking at it from a rational scenario and thinking of the probable outcome... what could you expect from a man who leaves the mother of his child when she is 8 months pregnant with his second? He is obviously not a responsible, compassionate person. Either is Britney. No love in the world could make me get involved with a man in that scenario. I'd be thinking "I'm next!"... Hello?!!

In hopes of not being cruel because this poor girl is having a definite meltdown in front of the public's eyes, I don't feel sorry for her at all....

She's had so much success at a young age and yes, that does give pressure to young children being in the limelight at such a young age. But she had her own free will to do as she wanted, which is what it looked like when she up and started dating MR Gold Digger/Baby Daddy-leaver and everyone was all "No Britney, what a stupid idea". I mean, she knew what she was doing. So no one can really blame anyone except her....
And as for the public overreacting to her shaving her head, it was in the midst of back-and-forth rehab visits and bursting into tears scenarios and partying too damn hard when she should be taking care of her babies since she "loves them so"...doesnt have anything to do with being a Sagiattarius....I think it's so big right now because as said, she is supposed to be home being a good mom/ dealing with lawyers about the custody battle. It's like she had a "marriage" phase and then "lets have a family" phase and now she realizes that's not what she really wanted.
How sad...but really hard to feel bad for her since she knew everything she was doing and is basically responsible for all this mess she is in.

i like her look now also. who hasn't had things happen in life that were unexpected, or imperfect? i always remember louise hay, whose wisdom is deep ~ "everyone is always trying the best they can."

aren't we? it's so easy to pass stern judgement, but who really knows the deepest reality of another person's life? everyone grows up, in one way or another, and continuously, and the learning is intense in myriads of ways, for all of us.

compassion all around, i think, is in order. also she joins a cool list of shaved head chicks, including angelinga jolie, natalie portman and demi moore...to name a few...they were pleased, it seems, to display this look in public.

and although other things in her life may be difficult, i would imagine that her new look is the start of a new direction, one of self-definition and acceptance. a very positive thing, perhaps.

peace and love

Britneys' life must really suck grapefruits right now.
Even though Jupiter is transiting her Sun sign.
Here is a good example of how Jupiter can be overwhelming, too much of everything.
and old Saturn is looking better all the time.

What was she thinking when she got involved with a man who had pregnant partner??

my kids are calling her Britney Shears

Girls, you are pretty nasty.
"What was she thinking?" "Aiaiai"
And what was he thinking? He was a father and not Britney. Why is it so common to blame a woman and not a man? In your posts Britney was blamed too much and Kevin too little.
Hating B. Spears was all the rage for a while. Maybe enough?
P.S.I still love everyone here, Mama Mia too

Okay, I take back what I said about Max Clifford in light of her latest behaviour - (perhaps I do indeed smell too many rats ) her behaviour is TYPICAL of a Sag with Venus in Scorp who feels she's been wronged. I say this because my mother (who also has the same placements) reacted in EXACTLY the same say when she and my father had a bust-up, for example, trying to run him over when he was on his motorbike and she in her car. And all other kinds of crazy, mental stuff.

Hell hath no fury, as they say.

Sorry Xena, but I think Britney has her Venus in Capricorn. Maybe her Venus square Pluto, might cause her to act in this way though?!

Then again, the media could be "stretching the truth" as they seem to like doing....!

I know girls cut their hair when emotionally upset or whatever - but shaving it, my God. She's not pretty enough to get away with that.
