  I've been involved with someone for only 3 months now- and yet it feels like we've known each other for hundreds of years...
We have many Oppositions in our synastry;
ie. Sun opp. sun
(moon conj moon)
venus opposite venus
mars opposite mars
N.node opposite N.node
Her sun(and mercury) is in the 4rth house-- I am a
I think this many relates to soul mates as well. We have a strong psychic connection- soo much in common and an instant sense of familiarity since the day we met.

That has got to be my favorite of all astrology aspects(Sun opposite Sun), especially when there are more opposite aspects that follow. They can go ether way seriously be attracted to each other or be really repulsed(sometimes both at once). It's best when there is a combo of oppositions and personal planets in tight conjunctions, just enough to feel comfortable with each other, but always a strong physical attraction that never gets boring.------------------

Moon in Cancer
Jupiter in Cancer
Venus in Virgo
Mars in Cancer

I agree- The chemistry is amazing i might add  when theres a major influence of opposition.
You have quite the influence yourself. How do you interact with Capricorns or people with strong Cap influence?? and/or Arians..??My chart : sun: cancer

The most gorgeous couple I know is my pisces friend and her virgo partner.People have been saying forever either it'll never work or they're destined to be together. I believe they are perfect together. The way they still smile at one another is the sign, like they're sharing a private joke. They've been tested too, he has a daughter from a previous relationship (no problems there at all actually, but there coulda been) and my pisces friend was in hospital for a few stressful weeks before having their daughter premature.
His family can be difficult at times and he likes a drink, they never have much money and his work situation is always....um.... interesting; but they are the happiest couple I know. Opposites work for them and personality wise they are COMPLETELY different. She is a 'whale' pisces and he is a very softly spoken virgo. IP: Logged |

Personally, I think they attract big time, but it's not all smooth sailing, since opposites by their nature have their differences.I know I have explosive chemistry with Leo placements (I'm an Aqua).. and I have a Scorpio friend that goes after Taurus, Taurus, Taurus... she's with a Gem now and she's all like "OOOHHHH! I broke the mould! This one will work! I hate Taurus men!"... I don't have the heart to tell her he has a sh*tload of Taurus placements! ROTFL!  Plus, she tries to understand all my astrobabble and she's a Gemini rising and she's like "we match so well because he's a Gemini and I'm a Gemini rising!"...yes, dear... but those Taurus oppositions activating your Scorpio bits are helping that Sun lighting up your 1st house shine just a weeee bit brighter than usual, lol! tbone, sometimes my Cancer energy gets the better of me, whether I want it to or not! LOL. I've usually attract my Sun sign opposite Aries, and it works out really well because we balance each other out 'temperance' is what happens when we get together. As for Capricorn being sort of my opposite because of all the Cancer in my chart, they also seem to be drawn to me, and they are surprising blunt with their intentions. I think it's my Mars opposing their Sun that makes them want to be rAnDy around me  ------------------

Mmmmmm...opposites. I don't know that I've ever met a Cancer male that I DIDN'T like. Really, the only time I have problems with them is when they become too attached, and I begin to feel suffocated. Also, they can sometimes be a little too sensitive for me, but if they have a good bit of earth or fire in their charts, then it's great.My venus in Scorpio is a big player in my love life as well, as I have a tendency to attract A LOT of Taureans, and I'm usually quite crazy about them. I disagree that similar repels and opposites attract, I think it is not that simple. I actually get along better with people who are similar than I do opposites. Very often I attract Libras and love them and I have 3 planets in Libra, or other Virgos. So a Pisces? I can't STAND them most of the time. Too *soft* and clingy for me. Aries? Oh god. I wind up wanting to beat them with a baseball bat after a little while. :P :P :P IP: Logged |

In my case, it is both. But to stay together, I think more similarities will allow for better understanding.
I attract my opposite sign alot, but I since I have a 5-planet stellium, my opposite sign riles me up more than I'm comfortable with. So I'd stay with my sign - for partnership. I'd take the opposite sign as friends/activity partners anytime.IP: Logged |

Keep posting- youre input / opinions are greatly appreciated..I think it helps that my partners Sun and Mercury are both in the 4rth house (and i am a Cancer) . As well; I have N.NOde in Cap(she is a Capricorn) and she has N.node in Cancer.. Very interesting to say the least.
Sometimes ; our wires do get crossed dealing with communication and understanding. Im also grateful that our moon signs are conjuct.!!!

I'm in a relationship that sounds just like yours! We have only been dating 3 months as well...but it feels like we've known each other forever. When we first met, it was like old friends picking up where we left off. Our charts have many oppositions-Sun opposite mercury
Sun opposite venus
Sun opposite pluto
Moon opposite venus
Moon opposite jupiter
Mercury opposite mercury
Mercury opposite venus
Mercury opposite pluto
Venus opposite mars
Mars opposite saturn
Jupiter opposite mars
Jupiter opposite ascendant
Mars opposite N. Node But we also have my ascendant conjunct his sun and moon. And similar to you and your girlfriend, he is a Libra and I have my sun and mercury in the 7th house....I think that strengthens the bond... I've been with my virgo bf for about 10 months now, and it has been both exciting and difficult. For a pisces virgo can be SO critical, especially in practical matters, sometimes even in how I look (I bought a pair of boots with quite a high heels, it was very slippery outside so my walking must have been looking silly, and the way he said "you must learn to walk with those shoes you look ridiculous..) Luckily I've got my sense of humour working fast so I responded coolly that why don't you come and show me how to do it....lolAbout the oppositions, our suns are not in opposition but his sun is opposite my mercury, one of the sweetes things is that his venus is right on my ascendant opposing my own venus on my dc, where his moon is! Yes; as well, my partners Venus is opposing my ascendent. I think thats a pretty good aspect. We definately have a very understanding, affectionate(caring) relationship.
The only concern(small problem) is she doesnt entirely understand my need for my own personal time/space apart from her.
She takes it personally and thinks that i dont wanna see her(which is untrue)
Every one needs space/time away from their lover/partner from time to time.

I'm not often attracted to the one's that i do know either, (although I keep hearing that I should be!) These days, I only ever seem to attract my "similar" - Taurus after Taurus after Taurus, lol!
