OK, let me tell you something funny. Even as a child, I was completely obsessed with astrology. I used to think it was obvious that I was an Aquarian because I was such a great swimmer and loved the water so much, haha... you know... Aqua... water... Swimming... like DURRR!! But I always identified with all things Libran. I used to read Linda's Sun Signs book and think "that sounds like me" and I was always drawn to reading about Libra and I always identified more with my Libran friends, isn't that strange? It wasn't until high school that I started to feel really Aquarian and started to feel that it fit me, and then somewhere in high school, I discovered rising signs and surprise surprise! Mine is Libra.

I think I NEEDED a Libra Rising to soften my otherwise abrasive and very masculine personality! ROTFL! I grew up around boys, I was a total tomboy and in a lot of ways I still am, and my closest friends are men still and EVERYONE comments "you are such a guy!"... I have Mars conjunct the Sun and then Jupiter opposing that conjunction and a 1st house Pluto. I am really blunt, I'm not a mean person AT ALL, but... I'm just blunt sometimes, I can be really full on, I do everything to excess (this is a huge vice), sometimes my jokes are off-colour, almost nothing is scared, I'm opinionated... Libra softens all this dramatically. Diplomat? I am a born diplomat. I can talk to anyone and calm them down, reason with them, rationalize with them and convince them I am a kind, logical person who can see their point of view. Tactfulness is innate. I can find a way to say whatever I need to anyone without them freaking out (which is good, cause I don't like to mince words and I like to say what I think! lol)... I'm also very good at design, layout, colour, putting things together and making them look nice in general.

Lookswise, I think Libra Rising saved me too... lol. It keeps me looking feminine no matter what, I say that because I am very athletic and very into weight-lifting... but, I have this exaggerated hourglass figure that could never possibly look masculine. I am routinely described as "that really really curvy girl"... despite the muscles! And I'm pretty damn strong, I can squat as much or more than most guys my size and I lift for strength nowadays, more than for my figure or to gain mass (never been into the latter).

I'm a taurus with a libra rising and venus in the 7th. Hmm... where do i start? Firstly, i'm a graphic designer, i love design and have always been heavily interested in visual design, i'm very practical and down to earth but many people say i come across as an airy relaxed and charming person, that is until they get to really know me and learn that i'm very deep, emotional and caring (i have heavy taurus in my chart). I'm VERY diplomatic and my friends come to me for advice. I've been told that i have a soft calming voice that is sincere and relaxing. I have taken singing lessons but persued my creative artistic side. I hate conflict but when i'm forced into i explode and it shakes my internal balance, i think this is my taurean sun and taurean moon overcoming the diplomatic nature of my libra rising. I'm very social and hate being lonely, i'm never truly happy unless i'm in a relationship. I get very attached quickly and love the chase (venus in aries) and fall hard in love (venus 7H). My libra rising gives me a calm aura that i believe has helped me to reason and get out of some very tricky situations. I see the truth in justice and can read people very well. I have deep grey eyes and am lucky to hardly ever get skin problems, acne etc. I'm not gay btw, i know the pic is a little "feminine" but i'm like that. My vices are that i hold back things to avoid conflict. My expectations of a partner are probably too high. I'm demanding and emotional in relationships. I attract libras, aquarius and geminis but they soon fail because my taurean sun craves security and hates flirts.

I get walked all over and don't fight back, i just take it.

I'm always the one to get hurt, never the initiater of the hurt.

I hate violence.

I hold ALOT of things back that i could say to keep the peace. I do this too much.

If i'm silent after someone says something it means i strongly disagree. If i change the subject i disagree.

I'm very polite and usually get free stuff.

My manners get me places!

I love good food, i spend all my cash on clothes.

I take good care of my appearance.

I love nature.

-I have that happen to me a lot! Out of the blue I have strange things happen to me. For a example, I was standing in the lobby of a restaurant waiting for my freind to come out of the bathroom and this man came up to me and asked me if I wanted free tickets to a football game at the arena. They were worth $75 ea. Just strange things like that....

I get vibes TOO easy. I think combining my Pisces sun+moon along with Libra makes me highly insightful. I scare people all the time by what I perceive in them. I do that sometimes and I used to a lot. Glad I stopped...Its important to stand up for yourself, we can do it diplomatically as rising Librans.

It's not exactly the same, but the Venus in me can relate to a lot of this. Taurus and Libra have quite a few things in common! Eg, the whole beauty thing... (being well-groomed is important to me!)

I was wondering if anyone here has the ability to talk to anyone? I'm pretty shy and don't usually initiate the first move (well it depends on the situation i guess) but do you find that once you hear the first sentence out of a strangers mouth you can kind of feel what kind of walk of life they are from?

I've never thought I had Libran features, maybe I'm wrong.

As for the other aspects, I do have a strong sense of justice, the need to see both sides in a situation and like to be surrounded by beauty and harmony. However I find that much of the time the Scorpio influences in my chart beat the tar out of my Libran influences. Intense is the word anyone who knows me would use to describe me.

My friends mother says I look like more of a Libra than an Aries. I think it's more of my personality rather than physical appearance. I have a strong love for books and I tend to read things over and over again because I always find something new! I like how in Sun Signs Linda describes Libran features to look "...like a box of bon bons. Or a sugar cookie. Some of them look like human lollipops." And the way she says that typical Libran would be weak with hunger after reading that. So true. I have a sweet tooth like no other. I also read somewhere else that Librans enjoy "sweet" foods.
Do any of you have a sweet tooth?
