Great points and it can also mean a relationship that is platonic rather than physical. You may idealize one another. Another interpretation is that together you have an interest in the arts, music and other creative endeavours. If you believe in reincarnation, it also may bring into the picture past lives. The nature of your relationship can be very illusionary and spiritual. IP: Logged |

Me and my bf have this one on our composite, and yes, it is somehow very romantic, idealist, we share many interests in arts especially theater and movies, and yes, unfortunately it is not a very passionate, physical aspect but brings something platonic to the relationship.IP: Logged |

We also have that aspect in our composite, and I have trouble understanding the platonic side of it, as we are quite sexual with each other... I am Virgo, he is Aquarius, we both have Mars in Scorpio, his Mars in my 4th house (his Venus in my 9th), my Mars and Venus in his 8th, and my Pluto in his 7th. His Mars is in conjunction with my Neptune -whatever that means in practice I have yet to understand ;-) Anyone care to analyze a man's Mars conjunct a woman's Neptune? That's something I don't quite get (except that I feel his sexuality really strongly, overpoweringly - would that be it?). I would say that one aspect is not enough to determine anything, although I do understand that a Sun aspect is always important... I have a real problem FEELING the effects of this composite Sun + Neptune in our relationship.
Some astrologers say that idealization of partner is typical of a Sun+Neptune conjunction. It would be interesting to hear from an OLD couple (= in a long and committed relationship) how this aspect comes out in their life, as surely the idealization phase wears out with time... (or does it...?). IP: Logged |

http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/010168.html Hi! There is some great stuff on Neptune here... Most on Synastry....Do you have synastry contacts as well? Composite info is towards the end... but the whole thread is worth a read if you are touched by Neptune in a relationship... There is more on the Composite I could type out for you if you want... I am going to bump the thread myself as i was asked by Capgirl for Moon/Neptune info and i will type that out for her... IP: Logged |

In synastry my neptune is right on my bf's DC, and my sun is making a square to his (and mine as well, as we are about the same age)IP: Logged |

Thank you so much, Stargazer, for that Neptune link. I'll print the discussion out to read at home with time :-)Our Sun-Neptune conjunction is in the 7th house of our composite chart... I suppose that is a very strong placement? In synastry, we have a lot of interaspects (the only one with Neptune, though, is his Mars conjunct my N.).
