When this is linked to obsession who is the more obsessed one normally? I say the Pluto person but what if the Venus person is in Aries? I think that would be a serious power struggle.IP: Logged |

I was the libra pluto, he was the aries venus (4deg orb)I was very much obsessed but it kinda seemed to work both ways because we tried to end it so many times but never seemed able. We ended up being so horrible to one another in the meantime, he couldn't even seem to end it when he found himself a lovely girlfriend. Don't know if he had me on standby or what but the whole experience wasn't pretty. My pisces venus was trine his scorprio pluto, but the orb was just over 6deg so not applicable, would maybe have been very nice if that was the closer aspect, lol. We had a lot of heavy saturn though so I'm not entirely sure what the heck happened. Very intense and very painful in the end, although now I'm wondering what all the fuss was about. I even saw him today and didn't feel anything other than powerful (in a self esteem kinda way) cos he had a real good look at me and I ignored him. Lol, so good! Venus opposed pluto? It sucks, I guess. IP: Logged |

I had Venus/Pluto double whammy with someone. His Venus conj Pluto was on my Pluto and opposed my Venus conj Mars. It was extremely intense and mutually obssessive...lots of power struggles and projecting... P.S. We also had Venus/Saturn, Venus/Jupiter, Venus/Mars and Venus/Neptune double whammies. IP: Logged |

I've had this aspect so many times with so many people. It only played out (the way the interpretation of it goes) with one person. I explained it in the thread above. Right now I'm dating someone who I have a double whammy with. My Venus opposite his Pluto at 1 deg and His Venus conjunct my Pluto at 3 deg. We have so much fun together.. NO way this is a plutonian relationship lol The rest of the synastry matters a lot as well and the way you are individually is pretty important. Things won't go bad with Venus/Pluto unless immaturity and a predisposition to violence is there or other feisty aspects in synastry to stir the pot. (any Mars or Sun squares for instance, would fit under this category) IP: Logged |

Sorry that first link isn't working.. but if you go to Soul Unions and use the search function up the top.. and search for Venus (in the title of the thread) you'll find heaps more Venus/Pluto stuff. For everyone else: The search function still works in Soul Unions and other less active forums btw IP: Logged |

Thanks for the links Coral. I started this thread b/c i had to admit to myself that i am "slightly" obsessed with someone whose Pluto opposes my venus. It started as a crush but now I realize i like him as more than a friend. Dont worrry im not a stalker! its driving me crazy b/c i dont get attatched to people that easily and we are looking like a car crash in slow motion. Def not good for each other. My venus is also opposed my Pluto natally so i have to be in control in relationships and i cant be in control with him. We toyed with the idea of going into business together but realized that was a not the best idea.HIM Sun Taurus 8°15'08 in house 1 Moon Libra 17°05'43 in house 6 Mercury Aries 22°22'19 in house 1 Venus Gemini 21°36'16 in house 3 Mars Leo 28°33'45 in house 5 Jupiter Virgo 0°14'51 in house 5 Saturn Virgo 20°41'04 in house 6 Uranus Scorpio 24°12'38 in house 7 Neptune Sagittarius 22°21'40 in house 9 Pluto Libra 19°53'39 in house 7 True Node Leo 26°41'48 in house 5 Ascendant Aries 19°41'32 ME Sun Pisces 8°42'48 in house 1 Moon Gemini 23°02'11 in house 5 Mercury Aquarius 25°05'22 in house 1 Venus Aries 19°35'55 in house 2 Mars Aquarius 13°53'20 in house 1 Jupiter Taurus 24°08'48 in house 4 Saturn Leo 11°30'41 in house 7 Uranus Scorpio 11°42'55 in house 9 Neptune Sagittarius 16°02'45 in house 10 Pluto Libra 13°42'16 in house 8 True Node Libra 25°28'24 in house 8 Ascendant Aquarius 5°36'37 IP: Logged |

I've been through this one - a few years back. I was with a man who had pluto in Virgo opposite my venus in pisces. I can tell you for myself it was a nightmare. He wanted to control me every step of the way it seemed. Then he'd get jealous of my male friends - but he was a Leo sun sign...Moon in pisces conj my venus. My 2 cents worth IP: Logged |

Let's not forget that unless you are dating outside of your generation, if your Venus opposes your significant other's Pluto, it usually means you have this aspect in your own chart.I think there was definitely a thread about this. Maybe having Venus opp Pluto in the natal chart makes it even more of an issue. Personally I have Venus conj Pluto in scorpio.. so any links to my Venus are going to be strongly Plutonian, not only because of the Scorpio placements but also because of the Pluto conjunctions. shirty that makes a lot of sense. looking back on past loves/relationships that where really intense there was pluto/venus opposition. Some relationships that just didnt have that electric feeling to them didnt have this venus/pluto opposition. IP: Logged |

Shirty, I agree.. I’m surprised more people don’t mention high school or university with this, maybe it’s been too long lol.. I still remember high school though and I’m in Uni now. Every guy I’ve known/spoken to/ been friends with/been just acquaintances with/gone out with.. in those years had his Pluto opp my Venus. That’s a scary amount of guys considering I’ve been to 3 high schools. In Uni, it’s a more mixed bag but the majority I meet are still my generation. Pluto is very slow. Pluto retrogrades. The entire year of ’84 has Pluto within 1 deg of being opposite my Venus. Then there are many months in ’85, ’83 and ’82 which again – same thing ‘1 deg. If you increase the orb, it would include basically every guy I’ve ever known lol I’ve heard that when a personal planet aspects a generational planet it may be an indication of how that person is perceived by their generation. I have quite a few stories to validate that lol but too long.. and too silly. IP: Logged |
