You've almost got it you just have a little block The Ascendant moves clockwise (backwards)If your Ascendant is Pisces then your 2nd house is Aries Taurus/3rd etc. That 2nd house Aries has got to move up first to the Ascendant putting Pisces in the 12th house. When Taurus goes on the Ascendant, Aries will move in to the 12th house and Pisces will have moved to the 11th etc. oops had to fix that IP: Logged |

It's the houses For the Ascendant signs to go in order Aries-Pisces the houses have to travel backwards (clockwise)look at your natal chart follow the degrees around and see how the houses change. Night Sweetie IP: Logged |

I understand you when you say backwards its when you say clockwise that I get confused. the definition of clockwise is forward i.e to the right from 12 o clock to 3 o clockfor the AC to move backwards it has to move counter clockwise or left edit I just looked it up on the internet and it says that the AC moves counter clockwise IP: Logged |

you got it! edit to add: quote: I just looked it up on the internet and it says that the AC moves counter clockwise
the Ascendant Signs move counter-clockwise (in order to go Aries-Pisces) The houses move clockwise. (12-1)

Lalalinda, yes, planets move counter-clockwise through the SIGNS, but the rotation of the Earth (ergo Ascendant) through the signs moves much faster than any planet moves through the signs, causing the planets to move backwards (clockwise) through the Houses while moving forward (counter-clockwise) through the Signs. Was this your whole point from the start? I think most of us here already know this. These are basic mechanics. But my entire question isn't about mechanics, it is about interpretation. Still no one can help answer my original topic regarding interpretation? Any website where I can go to discuss serious astrological concepts? All I see on this website is the same old astrological fundamentals that most of us already know, and responses that are irrelevant to my questions. IP: Logged |

I hear your frustration ScorpionicWeb and I'm sorry I haven't been able to help you. quote: Was this your whole point from the start? I think most of us here already know this. These are basic mechanics. But my entire question isn't about mechanics, it is about interpretation.....SW
You would be surprised at how many people who do not know this. They go straight to interpretation and skip all of this. Which is why interpretating a planet on the 5/6 cusp and including the 6th house in interpretation is wrong. From the Planets view only it looks like it's going into the 6th. (if you freeze the wheel) I don't know how else to explain it IP: Logged |
