I have natal Jupiter in the 8th house...I have no idea what that means. I guess I'm expansive when it comes to sex? And that I like people who are opposite to me (including foreigners) as sexual partners (which is very true).

Reach for the Stars

Jupiter in Pisces is a sign of great compassion and a quiet and kind disposition. These people have well-developed social instincts but can be too easygoing and unambitious unless they clearly define their goals and discover where their strongest talents lie. Their key to happiness and personal success is satisfying others by unselfishly assisting anybody in need. Their sympathetic emotions must enter their work or they will never find contentment with their jobs. Their service roles are important in the larger context of society and though they are thoughtful and considerate of others, they tend to suffer over the injustices they see all around them. They have high moral standards and function according to their own ethic. They are careful only to get involved in enterprises that align with their greatest humanitarian dreams, and will often pass up a well-paying position if there is something undesirable or greedy associated with it. They posses many talents which they are apt to play down or even overlook, and they profit through associates who recognize their personal modesty and willingness to assist those who have mental, physical, emotional, or material ill health. Though highly charitable, these people are often absentminded when it comes to solving their own problems, and they need to stop playing the good samaritan constantly and take care of their own lives. They should also avoid friendships with inferior and parasitic people who take advantage of their kind nature. Their habit of giving of themselves drains them physically, and they can grow ill or introverted and isolate themselves, withdrawing into a fantasy world or into drug and alcohol abuse that further cuts them off from the rest of the world. This can make them unreliable workers who suffer inwardly but do not show it on the surface, allowing the world to believe they are happy and sober.

Jupiter in Pisces natives work best with groups, as they are apt to become lonely and emotionally drained if struggling alone. They also have a fear of asserting themselves based on a severe lack of selfconfidence. Because they always understand the needs of others, they excel at any job that requires human contact or selfless cooperation. They often labor behind the scenes as drones who never receive recognition for their efforts. They can gain public esteem, however, for work with all kinds of institutions (mental hospitals, research clinics and laboratories, and organizations that assist the homeless or hungry), charitable agencies, spiritual study groups, psychical research organizations and any operation that benefits humanity. These people are so sensitive to all vibrations they can often be strongly spiritual, deeply religious, or extremely mystical. Nuns, priests, yogis, renunciates and those who devote their lives to their beliefs are ruled by Jupiter in Pisces. Drunks, philosophers, witches, magicians, professional lunatics, and artistic and literary geniuses all come under the jurisdiction of this planetary combination, because their lives are not grounded in reality in the classical sense and their personalities are submerged in their obsessions. These people have extraordinary intuitions and experience precognitive dreams and conscious flashes that are a source of expasion to them-IF they can interpret the symbolism of their private visions. They experience deja vu regularly and can receive strong psychic impressions regarding business and investment. They love to broaden their vistas to aquire knowledge, and often travel by water or work in a profession that involves the resources of the sea: shipping, boating, sailing, or fishing and harvesting the ocean. Those who work with liquids are ruled by Jupiter in Pisces: bartenders, water company workers, sunbmarine personnel, divers, and chemists. Behind-the-scenes players like secret agents, occultists, researchers, or secretaries are connected to this planetary combination.

Hi Jupitersgirl! You must be a fellow '84 baby like me, as I have Jupiter in Cap as well - also in the 6th house! (Are you also a Leo asc?!)

It's a bit of a crummy combo though - not the best place for the best planet! jupiter in Capricorn is in it's fall, and in it's detriment in the 6th house. Yippee!!!

Jupiter in Capricorn is fallen giving a mind that is utilitarian, responsible, careful, serious, practical, and authoritative. It expands ambition, control, caution, organizing ability, and duty. One usually wants to accomplish practical goals and attain high position or renown.

Jupiter in the sixth house is in detriment giving a capacity for loyal service and ability to handle practical concerns and work. Health is usually good, and one may be successful in cooking and the feminine arts.

Hey taurean_scorpion! Yours would be something like this:

Jupiter in Taurus is constructive, enterprising, practical, reserved, firm, placid, easy going, and kind. One likes pleasure, to accumulate what is valuable, expand resources, be prosperous and materially successful and secure. One is usually self-sufficient and stable.

Jupiter in the twelfth house is dignified giving a mind that is philanthropic, religious, mystical, and peaceful. One can often win over enemies and achieve success in hidden or quiet ways. One likes to benefit others, especially those in need or in institutions of confinement.

Taurus/Gemini Cusp, yes I'm a 84 baby ... I'm aware of the fact that we don't have the best positions for jupiter but there's nothing to do about it, so I'll learn to live with it ... My ascendant is cancer by the way...

Reach for the Stars

The most fundamental talent of Jupiter in Virgo natives is their enjoyment of hard work that lets them use their skills to give of themselves and in the process to make more opportunities for other people. They love to solve problems on the job, and are happy to waste their energies on the trivial tasks most people loathe. They can lack confidence and be insecure about stepping out from behind the scenes to broaden their career horizons, but they should try to take on new challenges for self-improvement and to attain material success. They can easily see all their options in business and always make practical, serviceable plans for the benefit of themselves and those with whom they work. Thay make kind and fair employers and lucky, helpful, and honest employees. They always strive to improve the status quo and help heal humanity, and they make excellent scientific researchers, biologists, lab assistants, and scientific investigators. They ecxel at any job that requires detailed technical work. They make superlative health professionals such as chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, masseuses, nurses, doctors, healers who are skilled with their hands, dieticians, and hygenists. Jupiter in Virgo people have brilliant minds and make great librarians, writers, teachers, philosophers, psychologists, investigators and detectives, environmentalists, mechanics, accountants, secretaries, computer operators, labor relations experts, lawyers, bookkeepers, and clerks. They also excel in the insurance, mortgage, real estate, agriculture, construction, forestry, and manufacturing industries. They hate extravagance and waste, and make wise buyers and office managers, or film producers who are careful in how they budget money. Any job that enables them to use their practical, critical, analytical, or constructive falculties and technical command is positive and expanding to them. They also love cleanliness and make natural housekeepers, car washers, janitors, and cleaning or maintenance personnel.

Jupiter in Virgo people are smart and matte-of-fact, which can limit their imagination. They are highly skeptical of religion and require proof or actual evidence before they can have faith or any spiritual feeling at all. They are truly materialistic, and always place money and earthly reality above fanastic or mystical notions. They are more obsessed with petty and nonexistent troubles than what they feel are largely imaginary beliefs.

These people easily accumulate money and possessions in the long run because they are so conservative with their saving and investing. They tend to be fortunate in commercial ventures and take time to become profitable as they can start on a shoestring and build a solid business through perserverance and attention to detail. They also can buy a failed business or take over a hopeless cause and make it blossom into something really successful. Jupiter in Virgo people have excellent credit ratings and easily get the financial backing they need based on past proof of their finacnial ingenuity and their persistent efforts toward turning failure into success. These people should stay away from risky investments, they should avoid any speculative deals. They often develop their hobbies into profitable second income professions.

>>Lucky Jupe/Leo/5th house, I read somewhere here jupiter in leo means no children, wooo hooo...awesome

Jupiter is one of the points of my cross, squaring my sun opposite my moon squaring neptune. I don't feel I'm ostentatious or over bearing, I don't have a BIG personality, and I avoid being in the public eye, or subject of public discussion/speculation/conjecture...

I have a quiet, behind the scenes job, which I love, my personal pursuits are quiet retiring types, gardening, cooking...etc!..though I'm VERY over indulgent with FOOD (venus in Taurus) and MONEY!

I have Jupiter in the 7th house conjunct my Venus, and like most people, I love my Jupiter placement. I feel I’ve been very lucky in love, or perhaps that viewpoint is merely my optimistic Jupiter energy telling me I’ve been lucky. : ) I’ve only dated a few people, but every relationship I’ve had has added greatly to my life, and helped me learn, grow, and indeed expand. I’ve never dated truly BAD people, I’ve been in dead end relationships, but they helped me learn so I do not consider them a waste. All in all, I think Jupiter’s placement in my life makes me lucky in love, helped me view love with positive (somewhat idealistic) eyes, and helps me treat love philosophically.

Well I have jupiter in 5th along with my Venus and I can relate to you on that point, Isolaede. I haven't attracted alot of bad boyfriends into my life either (only like 1 ). If things have gone sour in the past, it was really because of my issues (you should see all the heavy sh*t in my chart, yikes!).

would you mind see in your book the placements i asked before on a post?

DulceLuna, my english sometimes tricks me
i wanted to say that it isnīt the issue of you having your jupiter on your 5th house, but having your partnerīs jup in your 5th, or your jup on his 5th, in sinastry, that would probably make you a mother and a good one.
I took that information on the following site:
http://www.astrologymatch.com/love-marriage.htm#Love%20Match%20Report%20for%20Wayne%20and%20Pam

Reach for the Stars

Venus in Cancer people are the most loyal and devoted partners in the zodiac. They are caring, giving people who are responsive to the emotional needs of others and are sympathetic darlings who cannot bear to turn their backs on anyone in need. They are often afriad to expose their own feelings as they live in fear of being hurt, so they protect themselves in their relationships. They have the hardest time recovering from heartbreak and if injured, they are emotionally devestated for a long, long time. They rarely waste time on people who do not interest them romantically, which is another one of their self-defence mechanisms. In the worst sense these natives can get physically ill if their love lives are not going well or if they sense they are losing the interest of someone to whom they are deeply attached.

Venus in Cancer people have a great appreciation of their friends and loved ones and are beloved by these people in return without question. They like to bring out the best in the people they love and are fiercely protective of those they are close to emotionally. The comfort and safety of their families is of extreme importance to them and their hearts always turn homeward, especially in times of trouble. Their loyalty to their relatives, especially their mothers and sisters, is the strongest bond in their lives. They are also deeply attached to domestisity and secure and beautiful homes are crucial factors in their health and well-being.

They rarely marry if their family values clash with those of their potential mates and will never make commitments to anyone unless financial security is established. Before they jump into any permanent tie they must feel totally secure in every way with the person. Sexually they are responsive to all mutual attractions they experience and sometimes they can lose their hearts and jump into hasty or secret love affairs, which often finds them in love with someone who is not healthy for them romantically. Their true nature is to be faithful and possessive, so casual sex is rarely an option they consider. They are sensual creatures who love to share their daily lives and homes with another and their greatest relationship goal is to find a compatible mate with whom thay can eat, sleep, and relax. This is the path to security for them. They are very old-fashioned partners who want to establish families in which both parents live together and stay married, and they will make unbelievable sacrifices for those they love in order to keep the union together. They make the best parents in the zodiac and are the warmest, most understanding friends to their children.

Venus in Cancer people make steadfast and loyal friends who can be counted on in times of crisis for support and even shelter. They are sincere, kindhearted, quiet, sentimental, and very dependent. Material possessions are extremely important to them and they tend to hoard food, objects, and money for a rainy day that never comes. They often gain financially through their families, women, land, and the sea. They can have natural psychic gifts and as artists are most imaginative and often visionary; but unless they promote themselves, they may remain obscure to the public.

Diandra,

Don't worry, your English is great. Its probably like 100 times better than my Portuguese. (I'm a Mozambican so you could imagine the hassle of being back at home and having to go around with a family member as a translator everytime I left my home village). Anyways its me who misunderstood. I get what you meant now though. The children factor would probably only come up in synastry when someone's personal placents (like Jupiter) touch my 5th house and vice-versa.

Hello Starr33, would you mind typing up Venus in gemini if it isn't too much trouble?
