Say PV ~

You're very knowledgeable -- have you ever done any observations of your transiting midpoints??

That is cool how yours configured, Zala. Yours seems to put all your eggs in either the Venus or Mercury basket.

Mine is apparently by committee, per Kevin Burk, which may be appropriate considering my stellium in the house of partnership.

I've only recently looked into midpoints and I still don't have a handle on 'em. What are transiting midpoints? Or do you mean transits to my midpoints?

Here's my chart if you wanna make something of it, I'd be interested to learn -

Your Sun sits on my Mercury. My Sun is 3 degrees off your Mercury. Interesting!
Your True Node sits on my Saturn.

That's a good question on transitting midpoints. I'm not sure if she meant transits to your midpoints, or actual transitting midpoints. I've noticed one transit to a midpoint before. I don't tend to pay attention to my transits all the time, though.

When I first ran across them I was stunned!! I never thought about it before But your nSun/Moon mp will always be the same degree, and evidently that point transits too, and has transits to IT.....

Fascinating!!

In Classical astrology, Mars is the sole ruler of Scorpio, so Mars would be at the top, ruling Pluto directly beneath it.

Then, I have a Mars sole dispositor and that really fits me.
Thanks Neon Artemis for the information.

That sole dispositor article fit me very well!

I have Juiter as my sole dispositor.

SLAYER: If we got together on an issue, with Mars and Jupiter, we could really kick some major butt!

I wish I understood the tree better.

Slayer, here's the tree I created for you, based on Classical Astrology.

And yep, you have your Mars in Scorpio as the Sole Dispositor. I think that's even luckier than Mars in Aries, since Scorpio is less impulsive and possibly more effective in its actions.

Another thing I notice is that the outermost planets are in charge - Mars, then Saturn, then Jupiter. Your most personal planets are the ones taking orders, which might make you feel like you have a mission to take social action, or something to that effect. Even your Venus is in Pisces, which is a very externally oriented sign.

I always have that feeling at heart. Thank you so much, I learned something cool.

I bet we really could do that.

I think I have two Dispositors.. and they're the two planets that are very prominent in my chart anyway

*Pluto in Scorp
|
Sun, Merc, and Venus in Scorpio
|
Moon in Leo

That's the end of that tree

*Jupiter in Pisces
|
Saturn and Uranus in Sagittarius
|
Neptune in Cap and Mars in Aquarius

alanabelle, it looks like you combined classical and modern rulerships. Here are two ways of doing your dispositor tree:

As you can see, following classical rulerships gives you a sole dispositor Jupiter in Pisces.

In modern rulerships, you'll have two separate trees - 1 that is a committee of Jupiter in Pisces (ruled by Neptune), Neptune in Capricorn (ruled by Saturn), and Saturn in Sagittarius (ruled by Jupiter). These three planets, if you went with this rulerships, would consult each other when they wanted to act. On this tree, you can also see that Uranus in Sag is ruled by Jupiter, which rules your Mars in Aquarius in turn.

Your second part for a traditional tree is a separate tree headed by your Pluto in Scorpio, which looks pretty importante.

Whoa looks like we'd have some great conversations...or maybe get into competitive arguments or even both!

As for the Saturn stuff, I suppose that indicates some kind of karmic relationship. Catch ya next time on that one

I don't know what to make of my chart stuff.

I think Pluto is my chart ruler? I have Scorpio rising (pluto in the 12th house/Scorpio) and Saturn is in Scorpio as well.

Also have
Venus trine Pluto
Mars trine Pluto
Neptune sextile Pluto
Pluto sextile Midheaven

And for my Ascendant I have
Saturn conjunct asc.
Venus Square asc.
Jupiter sextile asc.

Isn't Pluto and the 12th house bad things? Where can I read up on this?

Like I said, in classical astrology, Mars rules both Aries and Scorpio, so it is your sole dispositor in that system...and there are a lot of reasons to work with this one over the modern one.

ScorpGirl,

what signs are your planets in?

Stuff on 12th house

1
2

And the search engine I use to find this stuff is here

And just for the heck of it, a nice little summary about the outer planets and our personal evolution:

quote:
Saturn represents our "normal reality."
Uranus disrupts and interrupts normal reality.
Neptune confuses ordinary reality by introducing alternate realities.
Pluto destroys normal reality and forces us to deal with an alternate reality and build a new sense of how it works.
Chiron acts as a messenger for the energy of the outer planets, timing their initiations and lessons, and preparing us to receive their light.
