Aww my bf has this placement.. ^_^ he's a very responsible person, has good manners, and is very caring.. Somehow this reminds me the first time we went to a Japanese restaurant.. I was charmed by how he was eating lol.. T_T (it even had some glitter around ahah~~) I have Mars in Taurus and Virgo Ascendant, so I'm easily charmed by a person who is intelligent and well mannered.. ^_^;My bro also has Virgo Mars (he has a Virgo stellium), and funny is, he cares a lot about his self-image.. XP (me also lol) IP: Logged |

Not a guy but I have Mars conjunct Mercury, as well as Venus in Virgo. I'm actually pretty forgiving with what other people do, but when it grinds my gears... Certain pet peeves seriously get on my nerves. If it can't be fixed or some level of understanding/compromise reached, I cannot move forward. Don't care if you release nuclear farts in public, but don't do it around me, loudly, or around people of interest. it's all based on what type of situation, and I've determined it to be either acceptable or not. Still young, so I'm trying to learn how to let go of the impossible standards I've had to live by growin up. But if I have to make the effort to stand up straight and look alive, I expect you to do the same. ...My sag moon cringed as I typed this haha IP: Logged |

Mars in Virgo(Vedic). It offends my delicate senses when people fart, burp or "work up" a spit in front of me. Euuuuw!! I don't want to see phlegm. I find bad breath really repulsive. And overdone perfume/cologne really bugs me. I also am sensitive to people using inappropriate words/spelling mistakes etc I really don't like Facebook.Am not on there. I think it's flat out tacky! One of the worst things about this position is the whole "puritanical" thing sometimes. I tend to look at others that I "disapprove" of and say terrible things like ; "Wow, he's so pretentious!" or "she wears too much makeup" etc. I made a thread about Virgo placements.Interesting energy really IP: Logged |

I have Mars in Virgo.Mars energy is different from Sun energy as Mars energy is a raw energy, not creative. I.e. It does not describe what it is that your creative will wants to express - rather it describes the type of energy you use to go about expressing your creative (sun) will. For example - I have Sun in Gemini and Mars in Virgo. Most definitely, there is a creative will (Sun) to express myself with versatility, wordsmithing, playfulness, flexibility etc. (Gemini), but the raw energy that underpins the way I actively pursue and manifest my creative self operates with care and attention to detail (Virgo Mars)... And with a certain degree of worry, irritability and self-criticism. I operate best and am most energetic and passionate when I am able to do the kind of things that blend well with an ability to utilize a relentless Virgo focus, and analytical attention to detail. It is a very cerebral, mental kind of raw energy - in fact, I am much more likely to get off my butt and DO things if I have an intellectual payoff than for any other reason. Mars is not so comfortable in Virgo because of this strong cerebral underpinning. Mars is happy if it can just do things without thinking too much, but in Virgo it can't explode forth freely like it can in Aries. So, the down side is that Virgo Mars is often restrained, polite and likes to fly under the radar. It is quite hard to express anger and let go of your inhibitions with this Mars... and easier to be passive aggressive. IP: Logged |

i have a mars in virgo and while i'm not the most 'prim and proper' i know because i swear like a sailor and i don't have the most refined manners... something that i am trying to stop and fix now because i think it might dilute the potency or penetrability of what i say or do.. there are certain things that i guess can be considered quite virgo - in a nut shell: i do believe that everyone should have a strong sense of propriety and decorum. there's certain things you don't say in front of certain people. there is certain things you don't do or certain ways you shouldn't act in certain situations. everything has a time and place. i find that people acting out of place say.. joking while a priest is trying to perform the last rite for a dying woman.. disgusting. and i don't even bother trying to disguise my disapproval of them i have been told that i can be quite victorian in some aspect ex. how i expect to be treated or spoken to when i'm on a first date with a man - so no sexual innuendos or double entendres (sorry if i spelt that wrong) and don't even bother trying to kiss me because i will disapprove ... and just completely vulgar in others ex. when my mates and i talk about sex.. i've been hushed many times when i get graphic :P so i think it's just down to how comfortable i am with the people i'm with or the type of situation i'm in IP: Logged |

Mars in Virgo - the kind of man who can drive me crazy because he's so classy and ""perfect"" but it's a cold Mars. And I'm not chasing after him...come on my Mars is in Cancer. He scares me :-PIP: Logged |

From what I've seen that can b very petty in indirect ways, but they are very neat and very helpful almost like an eagerness to help. They can be petty as hell when they are mad thoIP: Logged |

They can be prim and proper when they are around other people. Once they get comfortable around you they don't really care. Every so called Mars in Virgo or Virgo placement has a secret kink. Passive aggressive? yes, confrontation isn't their forte. They will avoid a uncomfortable situation better than a politician trying to get reelected. Petty? yes maybe not directly but because mars is in a uncomfortable position and the cerebral nature of virgo this is what naturally happens.IP: Logged |

I like this description! Fits me well. I have a sun and virgo mars conjunct my midheaven, with a sag moon in 1st. Plus two libra inner planets... Lots of indecision and uncertainty of direction! Sag wants to go now, virgo wants all info before embarking. My libra mercury and venus adds to the stasis! IP: Logged |

I'm a Virgo in Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars. Is it weird that I don't curse and I always make my nephews say thank you if someone helps them. It really bothers me when people don't say thank you. Haha------------------ Come on you apes, you wanna forever! IP: Logged |

One of my closest friends has this. Some posts on this thread mention the negatives - but honestly, I've never felt anything like that. They don't have any of the 'faults' (for lack of a better word) of the other marses. We can all be annoying in certain ways. For instance, the Aries mars might be too aggressive and/or insensitive (I have friends with this too, and they're adorable - so, no offense ). The Virgo mars will not be too aggressive, too whiny, too passive, or any of the usual flaws. Sure, they may struggle with their own issues from time to time, but it won't be glaringly obvious. Won't have a streak of animosity to it. They have a wonderful, understated style. Those prude descriptions are a little pre-mature. Once they get comfortable with you, they can make you blush with their earthy brand of humour. Plus, they like to help in real ways, and this suits my Virgo venus just fine. And I do take pride in being the one that can get them to relax, a bit. The downside I see is their tendency to underestimate themselves, and not 'go for it' with (even slightly) risky ventures. Their efficiency and intellect could actually benefit from a little stretching. So, if you have Virgo mars friends, help them take a leap of faith. IP: Logged |

Of all the posts in this thread, it wasn't until I read Elysia that I recognized my mars in virgo :-)I think we have to read all the aspects to it, the whole chart basically, instead of just a singular placement. I've got merc in sag for instance, I love detail but also the whole forest at the same time. If I could replace food with research that would be heaven to me. Mine is in my 4th house tightly conjunct my IC and pluto and uranus. I can be intense but I can also go with the flow. Prefer the latter so I tend to keep others out of my home for happier life. :-) Seriously, it's my sanctuary. Don't mess with my sanctuary and everything is pretty much okay. IP: Logged |
