Anyone have mars in virgo??!?!?! I know some mars in virgo people. they seem very prim and proper...be careful not to burp infront of them hehe. this can annoy me a bit (mars in scorp). My BFF has this placement. She works out, eats properly, and is big on manners and I thought maybe its her Mars in Virgo. Any thoughts?!?!?!!!

I have mars and virgo.. I am pretty polite on manners.. but I grew up with 5boys.. I can deal with some gas lol Honestly I am prim and proper except verbally.. that's were i let loose... others can do it and I laugh because it's funny. My biggest problem is in the bedroom. I am just a prude and probably pretty boring. LOL

I have Mars in Virgo. I'm not all THAT prudish, especially around people I love...but, I do value politeness.

My bf has this placement, and he's prim and proper alright.

But really, I will give him credit for having good manners and at the right place and time (like around my mom). I think this is a combination of having a virgo mars and a libra venus.

Hehe, yeah I have Mars in Virgo. Yep, I do like good manners & not too much swearing, that really annoys me.

I quite like this placement, I wouldn't say we're prim & proper, we just like to do things properly & be polite.

My boyfriend and I BOTH have venus & mars in virgo. Our friends tell us that we have such great manners. For me, I like people that have a sense of propriety and I'm naturally turned off by any rudeness. I notice that right away. I <3 my boyfriend because he is such a gentleman.

Mars in Virgo people know what they're doing because they always think twice before jumping into action. I'll say they're a little calculating, but that is so good for them themselves! Their logic and shrewdness helps them make the right choices of action in life. Who wouldn't want to be able to do that? It's pure logic to them, leave the feelings out for a moment when it comes to important things, right.

Not when they have Mars dignified in the 1st

I don't think I have terribly great manners in the "etiquette" meaning of "manners" -- more in the "consideration for others" meaning..... I have the same combo as Dulce's b/f and agree with the "right place and time" thang

The interp of mars in virgo

Here is a hard and willing worker. In order to counter tension, Mars needs positive aspects from the Sun, Moon, Mercury or venus, since the Virgo influence on Martian energy is inclined to tighten it and, while there is a chance of a powerful level of nervous energy; this placing can easily make you edgy, tense and rather restless. There is often a need for constant activity; if that can be expressed in a controlled, practical way by devising and keeping to a steady routine or timetable, all will be well. Should Mars receive, say, negative aspects (especially squares) from the Sun, Mercury or Uranus, the ability to relax completely and unwind can be severely inhibited. In time this can lead to nervous stomach upsets and sometimes migraines. Skin allergies, again as a result of tension or perhaps due to an unacceptable diet, can also occur occasionally.

Attention to detail On the positive side, you usually works hard and willingly, and although we cannot ever say that Mars bestows patience, you are often able to work in a detailed way, leaving no stone unturned in attaining a particular objective.

The passion of Mars is reduced and, while you may feel very strongly about such important issues as the environment and nature conservancy (and can spend a great deal of time and energy in furthering such causes), the Martian influence on the sex life is uneasy, since Virgo and Mars are not very happy bedfellows. The discrimination of Virgo versus the sexual needs of Mars can clash, so look to Venus (it will be particularly helpful in this respect if it makes a positive aspect to Mars) and to the venus sign to see if there is a counter to this tendency. The lunar influence may help, since the emotions are not increased by Mars in Virgo.

A secret ambition is sometimes nurtured, but a lack of self-confidence can prevent its fruition and may even intervene when you have to carry responsibility for any length of time. Emotional tension can be relieved by relaxation - yoga usually works well. Ingenuity is present, perhaps shown in model-making or the development of machines, but too much attention to detail, with a poor grasp of the overall plan, may cramp the style. The influence of Jupiter, or an emphasis on Sagittarius, may well help here. If considering exercise, cycling, hiking or jogging will prove rewarding.

If I didn't have afflictions on my mars, I would've been much more behaved....but what can i say? Got it conj moon, merc, and sq saturn. Mainly I'm a good grl, but I can have bouts of impulses that come out of nowhere...shows I need to better integrate the martian energy in me.

Azalaksh, I guess not ;>)

In my experience this can go a number of ways

I once knew a man with this placement who was a total obsessive, perfectionist beyond believe, to the point where it was unhealthy. Hed shout at your for not putting things in PRECISELY the right place, or brushing against something, or forgetting to put the toothpaste back in the cupboard. And i mean seriously shout, like those stupid things were more important than peoples feelings. I think it ruined his life a bit

My boyfriend also has this placement. He however has managed to refine the positive from it and resist this over the top perfection possiblity. Instead hes just sensible when needed, and pretty neat and tidy but not overly so, just enough to be healthy, and a little nervy but not too much

Ive also known people with this placement whove gone completely the opposite way, and are in chaos, although this is rarer

Its about what you do with it

I wouldn't say I'm prim and proper but I am big on politeness in the way Zala described it as being considerate of others. And a man with manners turns me on. I think for women like me there should be a phone sex line where the guy tells us all the nice things he did that day, like helping an old lady cross the street or giving change to the person on line next to him who's short on cash. So hot!

I'm really thankful for my Mars in Virgo. I'm a Sag Sun and I think my Virgo influence helps make me more balanced. It's also probably responsible for my interest in nutrition and exercise.

Yes!!! Let me know when you find or found that phone number
For me, Mars in Virgo is The Details, especially combined with my Mercury in Scorpio. I am just not interested in the Big Picture, or the Whole Forest. It's discovering all the details about that One Tree that fascinates me.....
Meticulous, tedious, methodical work (or creative activities like beadwork) is easy for me with that Mars/Merc combo.

Zala -

Actually, my boyfriend usually indulges me in that area. I could give you his phone number, but if you make a move on him I'm not above filling an inflatable pool with mud and wraastling you for him . He knows about my fondness for kind acts so for years now he sometimes nonchalantly mentions his chivalrous acts, most of which are obviously and humorously fabricated.

I have Mercury in Scorpio too. I think my Sag Sun helps me still keep in touch with the big picture. What's your sun sign?

Magician - Having Mars in your 5th house might make you even more attracted to considerate behavior than I am (I have Mars in the 10th). Even back in junior high, I remember swooning for the boys who held doors open. I appreciate being treated that way myself, but I've always been even more impressed when guys act that way towards others b/c I'm less suspicous of their motives.

A guy I care very deeply about has Mars in Virgo. Prim and proper is not how I would describe him ... he's rather sort of a scatterbrain. He can be very polite and a real gentleman ... you know, holding the door open for a lady and stuff like that. But that's just one side of his personality. He also likes to use the f-word a lot, especially when he's around people he knows very well. He's not exactly very health conscious. Doing a good job in his work is very important to him and he works A LOT. He's not concerned that much with details.
