More than what's in a natal chart, I would put it down to factors like:Emotional or physical needs not being met in the current relationship (what those needs are can vary from person to person), or not having the maturity to be in a committed relationship, or even boredom. There can be a whole lot of reasons for it and I don't think it can be discerned purely by aspects in a natal chart. Even the most loyal Taurus or Scorpio for example could cheat if things weren't going right in their relationship and the circumstances and events happened in such a way. I don't think there is any way of telling, except to be aware of the behavioural signs... IP: Logged |

Yeah thats very true actually  . But beyond problems with the relationship or the situaton.... i was wondering whether perhaps there r uranus venus aspects which could reflect going counter convention........or or perhaps a neptune aspect that relates to the fantasy...lack of boundaries? or a committment aspect maybe?And by that i do not necessarily mean cheating on a partner...but any affair that needs to be kept a secret for some reason..or where both partners know it cannot go on for some reason.. There could also be the 'I just had to do it'/excitement factor... I would associate Mars/Aries with that. Or Moon-Uranus (emotional excitement)... the list could really go on in regard to what aspects or transits can come into play, but also the presence of these aspects or transits wouldn't NECESSARILY mean that someone is cheating. I really think it comes down to how well you know the person and if you are seeing any ways that they might be acting out of character. Having said that, a lot of Neptune aspects could lend a person to hiding things quite well.IP: Logged |

hmmmm that is quite interesting... i guesss there r so many motives for this one behaviour..and each motive could be related to different aspects... i see what u meanIts just that i did my chart interpretation with liz greene's psychological horoscope....and it said that i always tend to go for the love affairs that i know will not work out .... and the analysis ws right, but it didnt mention which aspect it was referring to ...so i was curious...what spect could have resulted in this interprtation here s my chart: any thoughts? thanks gem Planetary positionsplanet sign degree motion Sun Pisces 19°03'25 in house 3 direct Moon Pisces 10°51'20 in house 3 direct Mercury Aries 0°51'29 in house 4 retrograde

Hi. I just compared the natal charts of two male "cheaters" I know personally very well - and found some striking parallels. I just list them here. (Both guys are Leo-suns, but there's an age difference of three years between them.)Guy 1: - Sun (Leo/1st) square Neptune (Scorpio/4th)
- Sun quintile Ceres (Scorpio/4th) - Moon (Gemini/11th) sextile Sun (Leo/1st)

The SATURN-CHIRON-opposition might play a certain role here as well ... as far as the male psyche/soul/ego is concerned, maybe? I KNOW you cannot judge a person on a horoscope-basis, really - and certainly not depending on a few aspects alone! But following my very own real-life-experience ... Interestingly enough, I recall reading things before on 'cheating aspects', and I have a few of them... Venus in Gemini, Venus opposite Neptune, and other Neptune aspects that I can't remember now. My bf also has these aspects plus Aries moon, which I read is another one. However I'm a very loyal person who would not randomly or carelessly cheat, and I also know that my bf has never "gone outside" of a relationship for sex. So I would say that if there are 'loyalty'/'commitment' aspects in a person's chart then that could outweigh any 'cheating' aspects.IP: Logged |

I heard that it has something to do with Venus in hard aspect to Uranus...I have met men that have this aspect and its hard for them to fully commit to one person. They may not necessarily be sleeping with other women but they might be talking to someone on the side, maybe have a flirting buddy or whatnot. Or they may not think anything is wrong with getting a random girl's number, calling her and chatting with her. Some people consider this cheating, some people consider it normal, I guess it's all to a person's opinion.
I dont have a Venus-Uranus hard aspect, but I do have Mars quincux Uranus...Venus in Taurus in the 11th house with Neptune in the 7th and that should make me ridiculously faithful but in real life, I have a hard time being committed soley and truly to one man. It has mostly to do with my experiences in the past, like I cant trust anybody etc, so I dont think a person could initially base infidelity from a chart...On paper, Im the best candidate for a wife and mother but in reality life has taught me otherwise.IP: Logged |

im inclined to cheat and i have venus in 12th and moon in gemini, the more i have the better but when i got married i took it very seriously its different if im reaaally in love. i have a venus square uranus also but i also have saturn trine moon and venus. And i noticed that whenever theres trnasits to my venus from uranus or neptune or pluto i got off the rails and it always coincides with my transits.IP: Logged |

I guess that obviously nothing in life is completely defined by someone's chart as some of u have mentioned through ur own charts, or your boyfriend's chart. I m sure there are certain experience that could mak the most loyal person not want to committ or tempted to cheat, and there are positive experiences that could make others want to commit...
But it also seems from your posts, and from the link you ve given me to these previous "cheating" posts that there are certain tendencies... Uranus seems to play a very big part (with uranus mars, uranus neptune, and uranus venus aspects). Neptune surprisingly not as much as I expected. Well turns ot i have uranus cojunct mars, uranus square neptune, and uranus trine venus! So all is now clear...! IP: Logged |

I'm ashamed to say I have cheated in previous relationships.  I can most assuredly say that I'd NEVER do it again. The hurt and pain you cause, spreads further and wider than you could ever imagine and I deserved everything I got back in return.Weirdly I have three planets in Taurus, (generally the most loyal sign). Although, I do have a singleton Uranus in Sagittarius in the 5th house, it doesn't aspect my Venus.  Take a look - see what you find....  IP: Logged |

U might not haveany uranus aspects that we ve mentioned. But you do have moon in aquarius...and ur moon squares ur mars
i would say that could have a similar effect to a uranus-mars aspect....since ur moon's n aquarius I have uranus in saggitarius too,,. here's the interpretation i found... in might have to do ..with the "unleashing ties" bit (Uranus (to deviate) in Sagittarius (Free and Tolerant) You deviate in a free and tolerant way, especially in relation to long journies, philosophy, religion and higher eduction. I have venus in gem and mars square uranus and while I do need space and I am VERY autonomous, I am faithful. Maybe for me it depends on how much feelings,love, and attachment are involved. Because before this I was rarely in relationships, I never really committed to people I only really had fleeting feelings for like everyone else does. I'm not saying I cheated, I just wouldn't commit. It was actually kind of hard to get into my current relationship (took a year) but it was really because of my own trust issues.IP: Logged |

I would agree with Gemini Lover that maybe strong 'loyalty aspects' outweigh those other aspects indicating betrayal. I have hard uranus aspects to my sun, venus and mars. My uranus is also in my 5th house. And i certainly need my space and independence. Also neptune makes some major aspects to my sun, moon, venus, mars.....but I couldnt cheat if I tried, impossible. My explanation....saturn is the strongest plaent in my chart and also my DC ruler, also have a capricorn venus...it takes me ages to really fall for some and to commit, but if I do, it's rock solidIP: Logged |

In my professional experience, issues with one or both parents very much shape how likely a person is to cheat...so I would look for indicators of mother or father issues in the birth chart.Taurus/gem cusp, your 4th house Mars indicates potential agression, battles and conflicts with your father (or a powerful father figure)...its friendly relationships with Saturn and Jupiter would help keep you from expressing agression in violent ways in your adult relationships, but could lead to a tendency to act out/express your issues with your father...you might have a tendency to either rebel in your romantic relationships (if you feel you're being at all controlled or pressured.) Cheating can be a (sometimes very unconscious) form of rebellion. The women I've worked with who have a fourth house Mars have an agressive or controlling father. You're probably right that you wouldn't do it again...these fourth house aspects are likelier to shape your early (teen and young adult) relationships, as you learn how to "do your Saturn" and work with your Mars to make a place in the world, and in love, where you feel at home. Ive cheated once.. It was a terrible mistake.. it was a very bad time in my life.. It was influenced by alcohol .. although it wasnt sexual.. it was kissing but I fear it could have went to sexual if the other person didnt say no. I dont know what could indicate that about me.. Im july 21st 1988 10:21 AM syracuse NY .. I also would like to point out that the girl I think conjuncted my descendent .. both were Pisces.. How is everybody's Juno aspected here?I noticed in the above (seeing stars 7.21) post that her Juno was trine pluto, and opposing neptune. It seems that most people here view Juno as the "marriage" asteroid, but the Magi say that this asteroid is more about the "one night stand" (and is also involved with self delusion, drugs and alcohol)
I think it would be interesting if the above posters could research there Juno aspects and post them here. I wonder how many admitted "cheaters" have strong mars, venus, pluto aspects to Juno? I had a girlfriend that was a cheater that had a mars/juno conj. trine her venus ( and if you use Helio charts she also had a pluto juno trine ) She was always "ready to go" for better or for worse  IP: Logged |
