Hi DD,
The Reflection Conjunction can be called "harmonious because of the complimentary nature". I have no opinion on the Solstice Conjunction as of yet.

IQ,thank you for your answer. HOw important, do you think, those reflection conjunctions are? Conjunctions, trines, sextile? Or much weaker? DD IP: Logged |

darkdreamer - Since synastry is more complex, when considering the significance of solstice conjunctions, I decided to first look at my natal solstice conjunctions.
I have:
Sun - Venus (0º)
Saturn - Osiris (0º)
Pluto - Mars & Jupiter (1º) (these are both oppositions)What I noticed is that these all fit in with other themes in my chart.
1. Venus is my least aspected planet, according to Pullen, & lap's are often said to have a greater significance in a chart. So it makes sense that it's solstice conjunct my Sun as well. And I do indeed highly value Venus. I don't consider pleasure frivolous or an addition to life. I think kindness, beauty, & good times should be incorporated into everyday life.
2. I have Venus in Cap, so having Saturn solstice conjunct Osiris reinforces the Capricorn influence on my love nature & the type of men I'm attracted to.
3. I have a Scorpio asc & Pluto conjunct my Sun/Moon mp. So the Pluto solstice oppositions give Pluto even more to do in my chart. I thought it was significant that it aspects Jupiter, since that's the ruler of my Sun. Since these solstice conjunctions seem to merely reflect & build on what I already have in my chart, it's hard to tell if I really feel them. I can't tell how powerful they are on their own. So I went ahead and checked out my Solstice & Reflection Conjunctions with my SO. (All under 2º.)Some of our Reflection Conjunctions are:
my Juno.............his Part of Marriage
my Karma..........his P of Marriage (man)
my Siva..............his Part of Love
my Valentine......his Venus
my Venus...........his Pholus
my Saturn..........his Osiris
my Juno.............his Mars
my Neptune.......his Juno Well, considering we're engaged, the P of Marriage connections are right on the money. 
I can see how all of those connections are active in our relationship, but I will spare you all the details.  
Some of our Solstice Conjunctions are:
my Venus..........his MC
my Venus..........his Siva
my Kaali............his Moon
my Pluto............his Juno
my Psyche.........his Eros
my Moon...........his Eros (this one is an opposition)
These make a lot of sense to me too. The only one that I'm not sure of how to interpret is my Kaali & his Moon. How would Kaali & the Moon play together? I'm thinking that the Kaali person would emotionally awaken and transform the Moon person (& perhaps vice versa too). IP: Logged |

Jane, - Yup we all can see that the Solstices in fact do work very well,regarding to your conections with your fiance!
I also loved the Valentine - Venus! Moon-Kaali:for this i am not sure but I remenber IZ talking aout that in some of the thread he talked in.
