my teacher and my ruler and I know I've been a karmic bad girl coz I have 5 retro planets and the Nodes direct. So I probably deserve the punishment, that's the saddest thing

You can call me Saturn.

Saturn refuses to leave me alone. This Saturday, the 22nd, t.Saturn will conjunct my N.Node. I can't wait for that lesson.
In November, it'll conjunct my Mars, and not too long after, it'll tease my Jupiter but remain a degree away before it decides to do its retrograde dance, and revisit my Mars (in Jan '08) & NN (in May '08).
Then in Oct '08, t.Saturn will square my Sun. Not long after, it'll square my Neptune. Saturn will get nostalgic & go retrograde again, hitting me with those squares again.
The grand finale: Sept 28, '09--my Saturn Return. Saturn will be old hat at that point. I'm actually anticipating a relatively smooth return.
(Edit: oops, that's not the finale. T.Saturn will conjunct Karma about a month later.)

Over the past couple of years, I've had Saturn conjunct my MC & my Moon. The MC conjunction was huge. I felt that one very much. I remember I also really felt my IC conjunction. Both were depressing times when I found it hard to feel emotionally connected with the people around me. But more than that, the MC conjunction was everything you would expect it to be: I became very critical of & unsatisfied with my career path. I was at a top law school, good grades, guaranteed a good job...but I knew that it wasn't truly the right path for me. It was a hard decision b/c in some ways, it was a good fit, & there were things I really wanted to do with a law degree, but it wasn't my true passion in life. Quitting was hard though. I stayed months longer than I should have. I smoke & drank more in that one year of law school than I had in my entire life up to that point...which was quite a bit! I guess that was Neptune letting me know that I'm her b*tch. (I have it conjunct my Sun) But the good--Saturn made me own up to what I really want to do with my life. Well, at this point in it anyway. My outer life better matches my inner self now, thanks to Saturn. It was a hard struggle though...I really don't think Saturn could hit me much harder during my Return.

jane, it sounds like Saturn has given you enough lessons to set you straight. Saturn return could actually add something positive to you and your path, if not, you can guarantee that you will be 'perfectly structured' after your return. At least, it sounds like your return will not shock you!

Piscean Moon - Yeah, Saturn's definitely finished the worst of his work with me. We're buddies now.
T.Saturn conjunct my NN on Saturday didn't cause any mayhem. It was actually a really lovely weekend.
I'm not the same person I was before my T.Saturn-MC conjunction, so naturally Saturn (or anything else) won't
affect me the exact same way.

I completely agree with you about this: "When it comes to Saturn, I find the best things to do is relax and accept his lovely lessons." If I hadn't been so stubborn, Saturn on my MC wouldn't have been so painful. We've just got to relax & listen to what Saturn tells us. Saturn knows best.
