HEy; DL, I have Mars Aries 18° in 2ND house !! AND i AM A cANCER
Its tough to have mars in aries ( i am very impatient and do tend to have a bad temper)
I think its worse even to have Sun squared Mars.

My mother has Mars in Aries
I'm not even going to tell you how old I was
the last time she jumped up and slapped me
This was over something she thought I said.
Taught me to speak clearly

on a more tender note, she provided a safe, loving and secure home for our ever expanding family.
(my father was always overseas)

Yes someone mentioned outburst, that is what I have, outburst and I feel awful after the fact. I am not mean just really impatient and when I don't get what I looking for right away then comes the outburst. I am just trying to figure out how to get a hold on things, bc I snapped out a a person that means alot to me and well he is not speaking to me right now and I don't know if he will again..:-(

Are females with Mars In aries more masculine than most womyn? I think it would be an easier aspect to have as a man. (the warrior) Dont get me wrong ; i still have my sensitive CAncerian (watery) side to me but when i get angry..(or impatient) which is often ... My temper soars! I feel like my head is going to explode sometimes. although ive learned to control it somewhat over the years. I dont punch walls anymore.. lol

Maybe tbone it depends on other things in your chart. I am very feminine bc of my Pisces Sun sign..However I am very athletic and when I was younger such a tomboy..

I am also feminine because of my sunsign Pisces, even though I have three planets in Aries, mars, moon and venus. I may be aggresive and always go after what I want, but that doesn't make me masculine.

I feel as though I'm feminine enough these days (cancer sun) but I don't want to be too dainty...perhaps that's the aries mars or Cap rising? And also, I don't normally wear skirts; I prefer pants. I know that has to do with Aries mars. But other than that, I do dress like a girl. I was a bit tomboyish back in the day though (like middle school).

"Are females with Mars In aries more masculine than most womyn?"

I have never thought about that......and I have it in the 1st haha

Ironically I'm not that strong, but I wouldn't think twice about defending myself physically or verbally. Though I'd rather not fight, being a lady comes first.

I should shout the loudest for help here: Mars in Aries opposite Uranus, square Saturn. And no water Sun to balance it - I'm a Leo. Adding a Virgo Moon on top of that, you can imagine what a pain in the *** I can be!
You asked about temperament? In primary and high school I was teased and beaten up a lot, and I kept on taking it quietly until one day I totally lost my mind in a minute, turned around and beat the biggest guy in my class with a steel ruler until it broke. It took a teacher and 2 classmates to pull me away, while I was still swinging the ruler and crying and shouting at the same time. Of course my mum was called to see the headmaster. Only he didn't know that she's an aries Mars too, and it was the first time she got to know why her daughters often came home with so many bruises and scratches for the last five years. What a scene! I really enjoyed seeing my headmaster swallowing both of his thumbs...
Now I'm doing pilates almost everyday and go swimming whenever I can. Another thing really works for me: back massage, only it's too expensive where I'm living now.

Aqua Inferno, I have come to appreciate my Moon. It gives so much emotional discernment that I thought I could n't have made this far as a scientist without it. Aries Mars, Leo Sun, Jupiter on Sag cusp, it's Fire plus Fire plus Fire. I should get married to a firefighter

Wow, this is interesting! I know and be friend with a bunch of Virgoan Suns and Moons who are scientists, or do some very intellectual jobs. urprisingly, among Virgoan Mercuries I know, none really exhibit this trait. Not that I know too many of them to draw a conclusion.
Hehe this thread is somewhat the opposite of the thread on Virgoan Mooner that i don't even want to post in. Hope Mama Mia don't mind us?

I don't know what's all this about Mars in Aries, but since I'm an Aries, I need to speak.

I have Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars and MC on Aries, being Sun, Venus and Mars all in conjunction. Oh, and Moon in Virgo. I think the only thing keeping me human is my Cancer Ascendant...

I don't think this aspect makes a woman any less feminine, but I DO think it's probably a more difficult placement for a woman. My mom is Taurus sun/moon and has both venus/mars in aries (conjunct). Man, does she have a nasty temper. She's VERY aggressive, and VERY opinionated. She can hurt people's feelings a lot without realizing it. She's funny when she's frustrated too...she loves to pound her fist on things. We had to tell her horror stories about what waiters and waitresses do to your food when you get nasty with them so she'd stop. She's tough that's for sure. I get along very well with her though. Being a sun conj. mars person helps I think. I can be aggressive and impatient myself sometimes. On the flip side, I dated a guy for a few years that was also a Taurus sun/moon and had venus/mars in Aries. He LOVED sports and was always up for action, and he could be loud and expressive, but he didn't have the nasty outbursts that my mom has. In over 2 years, I never saw his temper. You had to REALLY push to get him over that edge. I'm sure it was ugly once provoked, but he was pretty mellow for the most part. So I do think it's probably easier for a man to handle.

The guy I love has pisces sun/asc, with a venus/mars conjunction in aries, 2nd H.
He loves sports and plays something all year round, is always up for anything and his tongue can really cut yet he doesn't even realise, of course his pisces sun/asc is devastated when you pull him up on it- he doesn't like hurting people.
I have to say that he DOES get pi$$ed off quickly but is the most gentle person I've ever met. I've pushed him further than I've ever pushed anyone and yet have never felt scared of his temper.

I like his strength.

I think my moon trining his mars gives us a traditional female/male dynamic so I APPRECIATE his mars in aries strength and vigour- even if my cancer mars is EXACTLY square his aries mars and we drive each other nuts, lol.
His aries venus square my mars is fun though very hot.
