quote: I think Mustang is referring to a formula listed in one of the "when will you marry" threads here. It says that the degree difference between your Sun and Venus indicates your age at marriage, with each degree representing one year.
lol My Venus is at 29'59 Aries - maybe at 0' Taurus.. My Sun is at 12', so does that mean I should've been married at 18? Someone did propose when I was 17 but I didn't take it seriously wow maybe I should have jk IP: Logged |

Jane, thank you so much for those instructions :-)What if the aspect is EXACT? I have that with my Sun sextile Mars (both at 5 deg). IP: Logged |

CF - The author's "before it leaves the sign" phrasing makes her instructions unclear to me. When she says that, I don't know if her point is... --that orbs don't matter as long as the aspect is in-sign or --if she's merely trying to stress that the aspects that are out-of-sign don't count. From other things she wrote, I think she just meant that out-of-sign aspects don't count, not that aspects aren't restricted by orb-size. She does mention that a wide conjunction is stronger and more relevant for this than a more narrow sextile, but unfortunately she doesn't specify what she's considering as a wide conjunction, 12º or 25º. Since she even bothers acknowledging orb size though by calling it wide, I think she's using standard orb sizes. So I guess that puts me in the size matters camp. Aw, you sent away the guy trying to help you fulfill your chart's destiny. Or maybe that formula just refers to proposals? Or, the most likely scenario, the forumula is bullsh1t? The formula works out for me, but not for my fiance. Maybe he's going to stand me up at the altar & I'll marry some random dude who happens to be the same age as his Venus-Sun difference. I'll keep you posted. (edit - Yes, your Sun forms a wide applying trine with Uranus.) Lana - An exact aspect would strengthen the sextile and bump it up in your hubby sequence. Love - Your white diaper would've made a lovely wedding dress!

Love - Ha, I finally got it. Only took me 2 hours of deep meditative thought. During the process, I stumbled upon the meaning of life, so if you're interested...IP: Logged |

Moon applying to Sun - "a potential marriage". Sounds like an engagement that never ends in marriage. Thought I'd try it on a friend who had one of those and a couple of marriages after. Creepily enough, it is reflected on his chart. Otherwise not sure how this is meant to work out for men. The second chart I looked at had 5 potential hits (he's booked in for number 2), the next had 3 potentials (he's still on number 1) and is nearly 70 - and is no Rod Stewart. IP: Logged |

I dont get the calculations. My Sun is at 29degrees 36 Scorpio. There are no other planets in Scorpio after it, but I have neptune at 1 degree, some minutes Sag, then have jupiter, mercury, venus in Sag. So does that mean that I have no marriages?IP: Logged |

funny face ~> I think you are covered under the clause that between 27, 28 and 29 anything can happen? Flick back through the replies and someone who has read the book put this in their reply.I took this more as an observation based on the author's personal experience than a guideline. I think someone quoted here as saying it works in the majority of cases - I think the quote was 90%. That sounds good but it means it won't apply to 1 in 10 of people. That's not foolproof. p.s Why do so many people replying seem keen to find a sign they will get married 2 or 3 times? IP: Logged |

It's 90%, sorry, but though that sounds good that means 1 in 10 don't fit. IP: Logged |

To quote Vintry quoting the Carol (see the first page):"If there are no applying aspects to the Sun or Moon in the chart or if the luminary is in a late degree (27, 28 or 29), I have found that anything can happen when it comes to marriage. It's truly up to the person to realize the potential. I do conside 27, 28 and 29 to be very special degrees. I call them 'wild-card' degrees. I feel that clients can get anything out of this placement that they want if they are willing to go for it." IP: Logged |

Quick question for everyone...are we looking for the sign that the planet rules or what sign that planet is in in our natal chart? For example, my sun is in Sag Mars in Virgo Saturn in Libra (Mars and Saturn are the only two applying aspects after mercury dealing with my sun in my chart.) If my Sun (Sag) squares mars and then it moves on to conjunct saturn later. Am I looking for an Aries and Capricorn (later) or a Virgo and Libra? Please help me get some clarity. IP: Logged |
